The citadel sits atop the dangerous mountain terrain of the bandit’s territory. The structure is collapsing and chunks of the material break off daily. Patches of light break through the ceiling and illuminate the darkness. Dust and dirt rises within the empty halls, catching the lit rays to give them the appearance of fire flies at all hours of the day. There are four rooms within the citadel that are still of sound enough integrity to make them usable. The largest room is in the main hall, whenever you open the doors you are greeted by it. A large table with mixed and matched chairs sits within the center; it is covered in a thin layer of grime. A large candelabrum is a center piece on the table, the wax candles are missing from their slots. No one comes to visit the bandits but it’s not like it would make a difference.
The second largest room belongs to the bandit leader, Tara the Terror. She doesn’t have much in here and it’s not like she remains here long as it is. There’s a dresser with a vanity mirror sitting in front of a broken window as well as a hideous rug thrown in a crooked direction across the floor. She has a queen size bed with thin sheets of wool tossed about in no orderly manner. Decorating the walls are bandannas of various size and color. She also has a wardrobe filled with swords and shields, along with a few bows and arrows.
The third room is the smallest and most cramped. It is a windowless room with cobblestones for the walls and floors. It was more than likely used as a prison before the bandits came along though they still use it for the same purpose. Most of the time it remains empty and lifeless, the people they kidnap usually die within a matter of hours unless they hold some value.
The fourth room has no use and no purpose for the bandits. It’s just there until a need arises to fill it.
