Profession: Tara is a very skilled cook, at least for a bandit. She could prepare magnificent feasts for every occasion but finds the resources in the camp to be a bit lacking. She is also a brawler, she enjoys to fist fight. She thinks it determines how strong an individual's will to survive is.
Bio: Tara was born into nobility. Her mother and father treated her well and she loved to play with her sister. Bandits raided the town on night and stole Tara, they brought her back to the compound in hopes of obtaining ransom money. The next morning her sister was pronounced the next voice of "The One," her family didn't want Tara back after that. It was some time before they even noticed she had been stolen. The bandits kept her as a slave. They forced her to cook, clean, and perform questionable acts even at such a young age. Tara didn't break down and cry, she began to plot revenge. She had two close friends that she spent as much time as possible with. Dante and Emma were both slaves and had shown up around the same time she had, they were both older than her though. Emma had just turned 18 and the call for her audience with the bandit leader came.The bandits had a policy to kill slaves whenever they reached the age of adulthood. They didn't want them around to backstab them.
The leader had his way with Emma and there was nothing Tara could do. She waited until he fell asleep whenever he had finished, she was to be executed on the gallows the next morning. Tara had snuck in his room with a small kitchen knife, she used it to slit his throat while he slept. Thousands had tried to kill this man but only a woman seemed to be capable of it. Killing the leader meant that you took his place. She emerged from his chambers with the title. From slave to feared ruler of the bandits, it was quite the transformation.
Tara successfully brought the bandits wealth, taking them on multiple raids and having them patrol the roads in the Brightwood forest. Most of the leaders hadn't been intelligent and caused the bandits to suffer at the expense of their idiocy. Tara lead them on a raid to an elven village one day. She attacked the elders and tried to steal their treasures. Before one of them passed away they sliced her eye with an enchanted blade, using her blood to place a curse on her.
Tara stopped aging at 23 but is forced to wear a patch over her eye. The color of her iris is unnatural and distorted, it holds magical properties. Whenever she looks someone in the eyes it paralyzes them. She very rarely reveals that power.
Appearance: Tara the TerrorPowers/Other: Whenever she was a slave she made friends with a boy named Dante. He was her close ally and they relied on each other to survive most days. Whenever she became the ruler she freed him from his chains and made him her second in command. Emma was freed as well but rather than stay she left to make a new life for herself.
