Necromancer Skills

Warning there are not too many skills for you but these are strong enough. You want more, go make them.

Host of the Spirit
Rank: The rank of the spirit being brought back.
Skill description: This skill is not to be taken lightly, nor should anyone risk using it for fun. The host, which is the user himself, will willingly sacrifice his body to bring back a spirit from the other side. The user will still know everything from their past life, including the memories of the necromancer, they know all of the spirits skills [must have the profile at least]. The user may even keep all class skills through C Rank if they wish to get rid of their element for good. This brought back person can still die since they only inhabited a human body. Speed and strength are the same along with energy. If you take the skills of the Necromancers, you will take one advantage of their class and two disadvantages a crew/VC wants you to take. If this RPC hasn't belonged to you, you must ask the person before you begin, if the person is not in contact, or says no, then live with it. Even prior to using the skill, the Necromancer must've known who the person was, where their corpse is currently located, and must either have their full body, or something that has sentimental value to the body's spirit.

Once in the place of death, the spirit will approach you, but you have to mentally get to it in the realm of the dead. Once you speak to it, it will tell you of the secret art, and that you must be at least the same rank. After two days of meditating, the user will begin to see a bridge to the spirit then the spirit will simply walk to you and then into you. You will get shake uncontrollably for a while in the outside world, then your the spirit. Simple as that.

Over the course of time [two days in RL] the user will begin to get his normal form back, as though the necromancers abilities are still working its magic. Must travel to the place this person died, whether it be over or under. Must spend at least two days in RL and do 5 post of meditation. Must be of the same rank as the user or lower.

Death Bomb
Rank: E
Description: A fairly weak skill of the necromancer it shoots a direct bolt of negative life energy. Call this the opposite of heal it creates random shallow wounds on the enemy. The bolt of energy is light green and will seem to sink into the target then explode creating the shallow wounds.

Undead Limb
Rank: E
Limits: Must be a necromancer. Cannot be higher than a novice.
Description: A beginner skill for the up and coming necromancer, Undead Limb simply summons a single, animate limb. As a necromancer becomes more advanced, they become unable to use this skill because of their inability to use only enough energy to bring back one limb. Whenever adept rank necromancers and higher attempt to use Undead Limb, they will use Undead Minion (and use up the energy cost of Undead Minion) instead.
Note: Limbs can only sense and do as much as a normal limb can. Arms cannot see but they can feel. Likewise, an eye can see but the fact that it is so sensitive will keep it from being able to roll around on the ground without causing it to go blind.

Craft Undead
Rank: D
Description: You can stitch together corpses and skeletons to make more advanced undead but you must go out and gather the parts and all custom undead must be posted in the custom undead thread for approval[see custom thread for further details] Each rank has a certain number of points and each creature
Points by rank~
Trainee;10
novice;50
adept;100
expert;150
master;200
sage; 250

Cost~

2 creatures; 10
3creatures; cost 25
4 creatures; cost 50

2; has two abilities
3 has 3
4 has four
[a list of examples will be posted in the customs thread]

Undead Minion
Rank: D
Description: You spawn a random undead swordsman capable of doing up to C rank sword skills. It sticks to one sword type so choose wisely. It can also be destroyed by holy light. D rank attacks can dislodge bits of their flesh and usually cutting them in half would work.

Unholy Frenzy
Rank: D
Description: This spell sends your undead minions and other similar creatures you created into a frenzy. This will make it so that even if their arms are removed or even sliced in half they would continue to move till their head is destroyed. This also makes their strikes equivalent to the rank above them.

Stasis
Rank: D
Description: This skill preserves corpses for later use once this skill is used on a corpse it will not decay any further by natural forces and it will keep the corpse in it's current state until the necromancer re uses the skill to return the corpse to it's normal state.

Undead Mantra
Rank: Passive
Description: A purely illusionary skill, Undead Mantra surrounds the user in a sphere of undead aura that can be felt by everyone who sees him/her. The aura is completely harmless, but will make the necromancer seem much more deadlier than he/she seems. The skill is initiated by an incantation and will be held for as long as the mantra is continued. After initiation, which takes a D-rank amount of energy, an E-rank amount of energy is required to hold up the illusion. Those below the user's rank will be scared enough to try and run away, those of the user's rank will flinch at the very least, and those above the user's rank will not be affected at all. Any user higher than adept will have too much energy to create a mere illusion.

Soul Reap
Rank: D
Requires: Death Bomb
Description: A almost unblockable spell only known way is to use the paladin or cleric's divine barrier. Though it can still be dodged this is very hard to do. The necromancer will focus and create a soul which will charge at the enemy, this will pass through anything except for the divine barrier or similar things. Upon striking the enemy this will attack the soul and what cuts done to the soul is done to the person's physical body. It is like a sword. This also seems to heal the necromancer's wounds though just the shallow wounds. You can dodge it.

Skeletal Shield
Rank: D
Requires: Bones Duh
Description: Its quite simple you use the bones you have as a shield. This shield is quite strong not only because bone is strong but because it floats and you can move it around. You may also manipulate it when it is struck by a sword to try and trap that sword but it would cost a C rank to do that. It lasts 10 posts or until destroyed.

Call of the Dead
Rank: C
Limits: Must be a necromancer. Must be at least Expert rank. Must have an artifact that was somewhat close to the dead person that is being called. Must have a black ewe and a white ram.
Description: A ritual that will bring up a single ghost, Call of the Dead can be used to summon the ghost of a deceased person. While the ghost cannot be used to fight, it can be used to obtain information. However, the ghost still maintains a consciousness so there is no guarantee that information will be obtained. The ghost that is summoned must be rped by either its rper before it died or a crew member. The ritual to summon the ghost requires a ditch to be dug. Within the ditch, the fresh blood of a black ewe and a white ram must be spilled simultaneously as a lengthy incantation is recited. After the blood has been completely drained from the sacrifices and the incantation is finished, the object that is connected to the ghost must be dropped into the blood. Only then, will the ghost appear. After drinking some of the blood, it will then talk.

Minion Summon
Rank: C
Description: Minion Summon is a skill that can only be used upon the slaves of the Necromancer (Dead rpcs controlled by the Necromancer.) By using their dark energy, the Necromancer will summon up a portal that will teleport their minions through time and space in order to come and stand by their master's side. This skill is not used to teleport the user anywhere else, or to send their minion out to another part of the world. It is used simply whenever the user needs their minions by their side.

Life Drain
Rank: A
Requires: Adept rank, Soul Reap
Description: This is your method of healing yourself. Since you are practically dead already you steal other people's life energy to live. The length of time you drain from the enemy will determine how much you heal and how much they get hurt. If you manage to keep draining till the 6th post the enemy dies already. You can see the soul of the enemy being pulled out of them and slowly into you.

Skeletal Summoning
Rank: A
Limits: Must be necromancer. Must have a piece of the bone of the wanted summon. Must be able to speak.
Description: With the bone of some species, even a species that is extinct (ex: dinosaurs), the necromancer is able to summon a skeletal version of the average specimen of said species after muttering an incantaion. This skill cannot be used to summon specific people and each bone set can only be used once (ex: you cannot use the bones of a single hydra to summon ten other hydras no matter how many bones a hydra has; you can only summon one hydra from one set of hydra bones). Skeletal versions cannot use the non-physical skills (ex: breathing fire) of their living versions. The summon is completely obedient to the Necromancer but can be stopped with Taming Tune.

Unholy Revival
Rank: A
Skill description: Fushi Tensei is in fact a ritual that makes the feared Necromancers the most infamous black magic practitioners in the world. This skill allows the Necromancer to dive into the deepest wells of the Underworld and bring back the soul of a corpse and attach the soul back to its body, not only restoring the soul to its original state but under your control. The person brought back has the same powers they did when they were alive, including rank and all learned skills. In order to perform this ritual, a lot of mental and physical preparation is needed. This ussually takes up to 15 posts per ressurection. The reason for this is that the ability to bring someone back to life is in fact a very detailed ritual, messing up even the slightest bit might bring back something that should remain dead or could wind up literally blowing up in your face. The ritual consists of the following posts:

Posts 1-2: Ensuring that the corpse is in mint condition. This means that if the corpse is missing an arm then once the soul is brought back, they are missing an arm. During this time, the Necromancer will inspect the body, memorizing every detail about them as well as trying to fix the body up as much as possible. From attaching limbs to stiching up wounds, the Necromancer has to put back together the body in order for the soul to return to a perfect and workable corpse.
Post 3: Setting up for the ritual. The Necromancer must draw up a pentagram and place the corpse in the middle of it. An offering of blood must be given and most Necromancers choose to draw the pentagram with their own blood.
Posts 4-8: Meditation and the searching for the soul. In order to perform the ritual properly, the Necromancer must be in tuned with the underworld. The Necromancer must enter a zen like trance in which their mind is completely clear. After this, the Necromancer will send his/her own soul into the underwolrd by using the pentagram as a portal to it. The moment the soul enters the underworld, they are immediatley attacked by countless souls trying to take over the Necromancer's body. At this point, the Necromancer must not only fight the souls, but find the soul they are searching for. Once they find it, the two souls reenter the body together. At this point, the user must overpower the emotions emerging from the second soul and conquer it.
Posts 9-10: Perform the Ritual. In the first post the user begins to chant in an almost demonic language. Green energy swirls downwards around the corpse as energy blasts shoot out of it. Those in the area beware for they could hit. In the next post, the soul of the corpse returns to the body by emerging from the Necromancer and using the swirling energy as a path to its original body.
Posts 11-15: Animating the body. It takes time to get used to animating your new servant and making them into a living puppet. During this time, the Necromancer will take some time to get to know the skills available, as well as test out the movements of the body and so forth.

Undead Hero
Rank: B-S
Limits: Necromancer, Expert
Skill description:
The necromancer uses up a certain set amount of energy to create an extremely powerful undead minion up to their rank. For B rank energy, they can make a Minion that is as strong as an expert rank. At A rank, they have a 2nd master to stand beside them while at S rank, they have a sage to be beside them. The necromancer can ONLY customize their summon's class as there is no other special thing about them except for the class.

Undead Hoard
Rank: S
Requires: Master rank
Description: You literally conjure up waves upon waves of the undead. There are three kinds that you may create and each of the three have their own advantages. The first kinda are fairly fragile due to being made of only bone. They are fast and use giant scythes capable of dealing up to the B rank skills and can slash with C rank power their only problem is the fact that D rank skills can easily destroy them. The second ones are shield wielding and very tough, capable of up to B rank defensive shield skills and it would take an A rank skill to destroy them they are comparably tougher than the first though they lack an offensive weapon their only method off attacking is by pinning you down with the shield and start eating you. The third is creating a zombie out of someone's RPC this zombie will retain all of its skills when it was alive but it is under your full control it will retain all the physical aspects of that person as well except for features. All zombies last till they are destroyed and you make make up to 20 at a time. A mixture is possible but not down how many of each type you made.
