I got accepted to college! : D Pratt Institute in New York, to be exact.
It's like a breath of refreshing, wonderful air after getting rejected from 3 of the 5 schools I applied to... >_<;;
I'm so excited! I'll be the first person in my family other than my aunty to attend college outside of Hawaii! And my parents are so proud, but my mom said not to make a decision until I get a reply from my last school (Carnegie Mellon).
I always wanted to study abroad, and this is pretty close. Since I'll be so far in a brand new place! : ) I'm just so happy somewhere actually took me! My dad's family couldn't even afford college and my mom couldn't finish, so I'll be making my family so proud! >w< GAAAAH I'm just so happy!!!

Was it one of your 1st choices? What major?
I go to a community college down the road from my apartment and it was my only "choice" in schools because I can't afford to go anywhere else gonk
I'm wanting to go to a school in california for business =]

I want to major in architecture. I don't actually have much experience with it, but I LOVE learning about it and ever since I was a kid I've been fascinated with buildings and doing mock housing designs. heart
My first choice was MIT, but that was a veeeeery slim chance of me getting in. I didn't, but that's okay. Pratt was second, and it was my more realistic choice.
I might reapply to MIT for my master's, though.

MIT was my choice freshman year of high school and it's always a good thing we can reapply to schools huh?
My bf has been debating on architectural design and electrical engineer but can never make up his mind.
