Things were starting to move now, though still too slowly for her liking, but they were moving. She had encountered a handful of worthy Kalona and spoke at great length with them about her desire to rid the lands of impure and unworthy blood. They had agreed, that the time for the Kalona had come and that the species would rule this land, destroying everything that was not their vision. It was Alti's hope that they would spread the word, her word to others who were worthy, and slowly she would gain an army. Of course an army would mean finding officers to keep the minions in line.

That brought up another thought, what Alti wanted was a minion of her own, one to do her every bidding and perhaps one that will also submit to a beating from her when things weren't going exactly to plan. Yes a personal minion, that is what she desired now. But where could she find one of her own blood who was stupid enough to submit to her every whim. Surely, with the watered down blood of her kind that wouldn't be too hard. She had seen enough weak minded bastards out there that one would suit her needs, it would just take some time to find one. Time she had plenty of, it would take months, possibly even years to fully rid the lands of all non-Kalona.

Trotting along a riverbank Alti had her eyes open. What they were open for was several possibilities, prey, something to maim or kill, or possibly a minion. Preferably something or someone to bring into her fold. Tail flicked in agitation as she moved.

User Image A bit of a ways upstream and across to the other side of the bank a scene was unfolding. Many things had led up to the event, none of which the brute stallion cared to remember. His hide shone bright with the flickering of navy hued mock scales making it appear as though he were covered in something other than fur, and his voice was certainly that of a beast's- hissing snarls and tooth-gnashing roars making up the majority. Flanking him were two soquili of origins he only perceived as not his own; and that was enough. One had managed to get behind him while the other kept Dalkar's attention to the front, both by taunting and fainting in failed attempts to land a solid blow.

However, the kalona only seemed to have had enough when a pair of dull, flat teeth latched onto his flank. A sheer laugh of victory came from the fainting fool in front of him, obviously overjoyed that his partner had landed a blow. The monster, for surely that's what he was, wasted no more time on the distraction in front of him and with sheer power of force lowered his head, barreled his back, and swung his hind end into a devastating kick into the chest of the one who bit him. A whuff of air and a hacking throaty noise split the air for just a moment before finally it was drown out in a gurgle. There stood Dalkar, who had completed the spin all the way around, only now with his fangs enclosed around his attacker's throat in a death grip. He had all but forgotten the one that had been in front of him, but what could only be described as a squeak came from his left side and the stallion reacted as savagely as he had before. All in all, the fool fellow that had taunted him from the front lost a good portion of his nose to the kalona's teeth and went bolting in the other direction.

Dalkar had no mind to chase after him, the threat to his 'resting ground' effectively neutralized and a sense of victory still hot in his throat. The monster would have let well enough alone and returned to his slumber by the river, had he not picked up a fresh scent through the strong smell of the blood that now caked a good portion of his muzzle and dribbled halfway down the front of his neck. He had yet to spot the intruder, but the stallion responded to its presence with a guttural half-snarl- clearly annoyed, but content to stick to its 'spot' by the river.

The glorious sounds of battle reached her ears and Alti just had to see who and what was being striped of their life. Slowly she came upon the scene a bit further down the river. A blue Kalona stallion was in a fight with two lesser blood Soquili. A smile crossed her maw as she came to a stop some distance away and watched the scene unfold. This was the stallions fight and she would not interfere even if her lust for blood was running strong at this moment. Besides it was a beautiful sight to see one of her own so efficiently taking on two fools. Clearly they did not understand the thread that a Kalona possessed or simply thought that since they outnumbered him they would be victorious.

As the first of the attackers fell to the ground lifeless Alti let out a growl of pleasure. Seeing an unworthy heathen die was such a joy in life. However it was a shame that one got away, though there was still a chance that he would bleed to death or get an infection in the wound. Hearing the stallions snarl Alti let out a laugh. "A most impressive display." Her raspy voice called out across the width of the river. He had done a number on that one attacker and the other certain would think twice, if he survived, about ever taking on a Kalona again. Her eyes swept over the stallion, the blood that dripped from his mouth and nose, the practical scale pattern on his body - though she could tell it wasn't actual scales and therefore he was a pure Kalona indeed.

Not at all deterred by his earlier growl Alti stepped forward, stopping at the edge of the river and lowered her head taking a deep drink. Slowly her head rose once more to look upon the stallion again. "You have good power to you, but lack the discipline to chase down a fleeing enemy." Such a shame, the stallion really should have took up the chase instead of just standing there.
