Personality |: | Playful, enthusiastic, and optimistic Alvess has taken to treating every event in her life as a cherished moment to be stored away in her treasure trove of memories. Knowledge to her is power and she’d do most anything to gain it, and retain it for her own. Though this slight of greed is counteracted by her humility and clear insight to her limitations though she’d never not try to succeed or a give a second attempt at a worth wild endeavor. Believing in only the worth of information and her inadequacy in her heritage has left her desperate for no companionship; though affectionate, her claws would just as soon claw out a child's throat if crossed. In a breath she carries herself as an enigma and never discloses her dragon heritage. Much closer to her “human” background with her father. She’d been mistaken for a common demon but the truth holds that there isn’t quite a place for her kind to her knowledge and this keeps her fairly distant when it comes to her origins.

 Description of Appearance |: | With long blue luminescent hair and an bespectacled inquisitive expression Alvess carries herself with a ghostly air about her. She keeps to herself but her Riverrun Academy Coat makes her stand out and especially with her mandated of the iron plating it has, and the insignia of the city on her back she mostly tries to hide it behind her long hair. Her cloths say enough about her position and her more or less assumed non-combative position. Yet her educated prowess resides in responses to new research material. Her Coat hides her firm yet curvy physique and help to hide her blade staff. Though her long swords hilt remain visible. Her Eyes are black with golden pupils and she appears meek at first glance. ~Highly durable and strong Physique, fair resistance to magic.-(Lvl.2) Her dragon heritage bestows her with skin reminiscent of dragon scales when placed under pressure or in the presence of harmful magic. In entirety her physique is stronger and more durable than five grown health men combined.
~Razor Shaper (hidden) Claws, can only break trough solid stone for now.- Alvess’s hands appear normal when she’s not feral or confronted with an enemy, but once her instincts kick in her hands turn in to large dragons claws with a far less strength of an average dragon but still rather intimidating. (Lvl 2)
~Fire Breath (Golden in hue)-(level 2 performance) Alvess breath flames, and is given to sneezing them as well. Yet her fire retains a rare hue of gold and thus gives way to her back ground. so more or less she reframes from breathing fire in front of others. (which means she almost never sneezes)
~Radiant blue hair which seems to be aflame. (but isn’t)- Like her father Alvess was blessed with long beautiful blue hair that seemed to glow in the day or night, but her dragon heritage mixed in makes it seem to glow with a slightly more menacing haze of flame.
~Fairly sharper senses.- Her senses both quick and more intense that your average human, though she cannot yet match the levels of humans of a specialized trait she more or less meets half way in all of her sense to apply the prefix, “Super”
~Strong comprehension of the elements.- On either side of her family tree there is a defined connection with nature in both a psychological and physical way. Yet in Alvess her mind take priority and her connection to the elements stops short of her mental ability to break down the proposed make up of what she sees into magical language. Meaning upon sight she can loge precise information of an element or natural or super natural event. Though with in the restrictions of her own personal knowledge to reference the information with. Alvess is more proficient and fast at her trade because of the natural ability. (LVl2) Alvess understanding of the elements have progressed and despite not outright being with in true command of all elements she's taken to knowing a fair amount of how elemental magic of varying types work as well as how they might be employed.
~Excess Mana.- When it comes to the use of mana Alvess body retains more than the average human along with replenishing it as well. Over all her Stamina is promptly inhuman.

W:: Long Blade (5ft), “Juujika Shimanagashi” (Cross Exile) , Twin blade Staff 2x(3’10ft),“Ouroboros” : Created from Steel forged with true dragons breath, they remain stainless and shimmering. The Juujika Shimanagashi, was one of her mothers claws melted and tampered with enchanted steel from the elves. Relative to materials it’s one of her most prized possessions. The Ouroboros was commissioned by her and to a black smith she’d collaborated with in finding new materials to forge with and what effects they’d retain. The staff functions well as both a blade and a magical staff to tune ones mana to a point. Which grants the blades a flaming blue glow when drawn. All of her blades cut trough the air with ease and resonate with her mana, though Juujika Shimanagashi is considerably heavier and denser than Ouroboros, holding more weight and force when striking. For Alvess it’s the closest she’ll come to have real Dragons claws right now. Ouroboros (cost redux 1)
A:: Form fitting leather armor, with a long heavy (140Lbs) white coat with elven iron plating (mid-section and shoulders), armored boots: Crafted from a belched griffons pelt and adorned with golden decoration Alvess wears her “Researchers Coat” to announce her place (be it small) in the greater Academia of the world and more over Riverun. underneath it form fitting leather armor to grant her excess protection and compartments which are added to hold items and latch her weapons onto.
I:: Cross Amulet, “Dragons Persecution”: A Cross received from her father who’d taken Alvess into a bigoted pious society to hide her existence. This Amulet hides are retains her excess mana.
Signature Moves |: |
~Forsaken Beast:: An ability to focus her mana & element "Sapphire Ash" and physical strength into finely crafted Ken-Jutsu. The Foraken Beast is of Alvess’s own design and relates to a focus of her excess mana into her hands and more over claws to wrap her blades in mana that resembles dragons coiling about her weapon and her fore arms. They resemble flames in objective sight but they’re more closely tuned with Alvess’s obscure earth element which is more like blue magma that before touching it give a cool soothing aura and goes on to give a burning sensation and move as if it were a conscience viral being. Stiffening and turning ones body into ash by layer. (meaning first the all the skin , then muscles, the organs, the bones. with a humanoid being.) Though not all are effected by this attack. (usually those with powerful mana resistance or iron like skin) (this ability becomes harder to defend against as she raises in level, making levels below her class that are gifted with resistance to the attack to regardless be effected to some lesser speed of erosion. To stop the slow erosion of the body by layer one with water magical abilities can negate or even further slow the body from painfully turning to ash (also other abilities can be used to stop or slow it but most direct and simple is to cut the skin which made contact) It takes up to ten turns for all of ones skin to be turned to ash and with multiple progressing hits the erosion shortens by one turn. This rule of ten persist with all layers. (remains a factor "the rule of ten" trough out levels but effective use on varying surfaces such as metals grows.)Level two provides this ability to work on RPc's with stone like skin as well as average flesh, and will persist even when apposed by abilities that might conflict with erosion of the same level.
~Tenryuu’s Vision:: An ability retained by Alvess to see into the magical “code” of the elements and retain more knowledge on them on sight. Making the world around her an open book to learn from. Though it’s not a lens into ones private matters, but more over there DNA and abilities and experience that there form and years have gathered. Best noted for deconstructing attacks and obstacles to find an “Achilles heel”. With enough time she can find at least one way to break an attack or obstacle. (in RP it would take at least three turns for her to figure a way to defend or obstruct an attack) (Lvl.2) provides her the capability to create an opening in her opponent defense due to her perceptive insight into their movement. Resultant effect is her over all attack will persist to be stronger against the focused observation. (pretty much this takes away some of the work in devising the counter, by making her skill to fight an aspect of someone grow in fighting you longer.)
~Mana Splice:: (Earth Elemental family, "Sapphire Ash") With her magical knowledge Alvess has retained the ability to weave her magic into the element of earth and more over shift it about herself from the ground she’s standing on. Such as turning the earth at her feet into sand or mud and having it rise or levitate, but this all takes mana for her to manipulate it physically. Though she specializes in normal earth she can splice her mana in with metals (the denser the harder to move) and other things of the ground and to a fair (a little less than fair) token other elements as well but earth is her specialty. Relatively right now she can upheaval the ground into a hill and make a few waves of mud or earth slabs at least eight square feet wide. (this ability improves as she progresses) Takes a turn to establish a connection with the elements.(Lvl2) In her advancement Alvess has grown i her primary elemental control but her mana splicing into present elements has grown to a mark where she can manifest traits of other elements to her limbs in slight or persist some control to allow her to use them to move better or harsher. Her manipulation of stone has grown to a fairer ease and her metal control has started to grow with small objects. (like a fork or a hand held item she touches), meaning her blades count, but only slightly with how much force she can add to the movement of them.
~Dragon Stance:: The dragons stance is an ability that require Alvess to establish a mana splice with what present elements she can to provide herself with an environment to manipulate to create a speed and strength buff of her skills, via the shifting of the elements immediately about her. The resulting style is of a sporadic rhythm (much like jazz if you need template) and she press her opponent with numerous and relentless strikes leaving little opening if not forced trough. Her hits are heavier and faster, but the primary point of her movement is it's unpredictability as she navigates the platforms of the elements she manipulates to run, swing and strike out better than her natural level set skill. naturally causing a fair drain on her abilities according to the elements used Alvess may loose an excess o 2-6 in her mana count by elements listed in stances use. No-element movements are still sporadic and random but the speed and strength are no higher than normal.
~Tenryuu's "Craft eye":: Simply put it's a stronger insight into the making and workings of magic as she sees them occur furthering her ability to use her Tenryuu's vision to perform a counter strike by way of using contrasting dominant elements. Yet this skill require a large mana pull and the conditions of Tenryuu's vision. (can only work with her swords) in short she can cut trough fire balls easier if she sees the magic enough and can work to diffuse it not only with force but with a counter manipulation of her own magic. It can be over powered easily by higher levels or focused attacks (meaning attacks that build in post)Improving with level.
Background Story |: |
Alvess Sparrow, the daughter of Jonathan Sparrow magic researcher of legendary beast, Her mother was one such beast. A dragon of light, by the name of Myreyoth (May-re-oth),a conscience dragon who can hide herself by shapeshifting. The union was damned and Jonathan abandoning his research and letting Myreoth go after a long sot battle to find and retain some of her lustrous and presumed indestructible scales and claws. He’d fallen for the illusion of her humanoid form and wit her greater wisdom and years. She loved him for his passion and incredible ability to find her and remain indifferent to her beast like nature at times. They’d been a shunned couple and with time more grew to know of Myreoth’s true form and came hunting for her in her weakened but still fierce term of pregnancy. To keep the greater evils at bay once Alvess was born Myreoth had left to stand ground and return more over to her hiding in plain sight. Leaving jonathan with only the love of his daughter and her mind to mold. She’d be raised taking after her mothers habit in a place most resistant to her background. Staying in plain sight among the bigots. she’d come to hate her self along with the other children but her father exposed her to individualism. Although he’d kept up his appearance of being an average human among the villagers. He’d shown her her latent talents and urged her to seek out her mother when she’d come of age to fend for herself. Yet her time came much sooner than she’d of hoped for. Having been found out her father let himself be hinged as to buy time for Alvess to escape on horse back out of the village burning a path to freedom and the mixed culture of Riverrun.
That same night a bright light rained down over the village leaving it ablaze in a golden hue of fire. Which Alvess for her first night alone bathed in naked under the stars, under the stars in what she’d assumed to be her mothers carnage. Despite his shed’ never seen her mothers figure only clouds that seemed to have swirled in divine retribution. She’d first sought refuge with dragons. But she’d been too weak for there kind and most were to young and feral and attempted to eat her most times than not. She’d spent the first ten years after her fathers death at fifteen searching for a purpose. Thinking back to her times with her father she’d gone out and experienced a good deal of the world and had thus forgotten about heading for Riverrun. Till her 35th year. Her experiences made her tougher and more veteran in her practices of swordsmanship to defend herself.
It took her seven years of hard work to graduate a realized researcher. The shame of her fathers name having long faded into the ashes of her former village of religious nuts. Coming to proudly wear the coat of the Academy she’d long worked for and ran remedial errands. Alvess had come to a state of awareness where she’d grasp a her dragon heritage overtly but yet more open than she’d done before. Spending time to craft tools so to thwart the disdain of human and dragons alike with undeniable fear and reverence of her wisdom and skill. Continuing on in her fathers path she’d look for her mother, but only came upon the slowly melting material of her claw in a vat of golden molten earth that was a makeshift forge. using the long burning heat of the flames set by her mother She’d spend a year moving back and forth stocking the fire and collecting materials and a black smith to work along side to complete the work on her blade of heritage, “Juujika Simanagashi”, the “Cross Exile”. A reject of heaven and hell. The only divinity she believed in was what granted the miracle of forging the blade. Knowledge. she’d later complete her weapon set by creating the” Ouroboros” blade staff later to stand as her magical tuning device. Now Alvess having come to the age of 52 remains an obscure presence in the world. Yet now she’s seeking knowledge and power untold. She seeks to find her mother in person and to turn her about to help her cause...She must match and surpass a dragon.
Magic Sys|: |(Personally for Alvess) Magic scale running from -15|0|25 range, positive being the stat in which she can draw mana and continue to regenerate it as she rest her powers( such as not casting for a post. Her rate of regeneration from each post of rest is one[1]. While using her magic to the zero[0] line will signify a reduction in her effective area of earth she can manipulate with in distance of her self as well as her powers losing some force to it's magnitude. Natural exchange between elements are lighter due to Alvess's specialty in a specific element she splices her mana into. foreign or unfamiliar elements will bare on her magic the largest toll with slight of fair results to show for it. The scale of cost goes as 1=small cast (pebbles, hand sized rock, or some easier moved concentration of one of her primary elements), 2=moderate level (larger rocks, stepping stones of shifts in the the ground to gain grip or traction. simple sink whole for one. second skin of mud or gravel, floating concentrations of earth (the bigger may make it a [3] in cost.for ex. all with primary elements once the two are selected or the one) 3=Large cast cost ( larger whirlpools of sink wholes, waves of mud or earth, pillars of earth that may reach high into the air [two story lift], any foreign element manipulated trough her splicing of her mana.) Once in the negative post take a turn to replenish to zero but cannot go positive again.
