Being senshi was something that required stealth. It required tact. It also required you to not knock over metal garbage bins while free running. So far, an hour into gearing up, Pollux had not only broken all these so called 'unwritten' rules, but he'd also made a old lady scream, tripped two home security systems, set off 3 car alarms and ended up causing substantial property damage. And if asked he would tell you none of it was his fault. He was just doing his job. And staying alive, yes, that was a big part of it.
The thing running after him was a rather large youma, about the size of bengal tiger, and just about as friendly. Unlike a tiger however, it was in more of a flying squirrel shape. Able to leap and glide over long distances while running. So, without the ability to fight a flying monster, Pollux had been forced to run. And keep running, staying in as many covered areas as he could. So long as the thing stayed close to the ground, he had a chance at getting away.
And while it occurred to him to call for back up, so far his phone was proving utterly un-reliant. No little blips to tell him of other active senshi, no numbers in his registry to call. He'd sent a distress signal, but had gotten not a single reply. As he reached the park, he hid in the tick coverage of the trees and bushes, a final distress signal going out. The youma hissing, unable to reach it's prey.

A few blocks away from where Pollux sent his final distress call, another's senshi's phone went apeshit.
Themis had been about to continue his patrol when that happened, and the beeping in the back of his mind made him stop, summon his phone from subspace. Blue eyes narrowed at the map readout, and then he was gone, forgoing sheath for speed.
The blonde did one final leap to land into the park proper, and only took a few seconds to observe the scene in front of him. He could feel the senshi in the bush - a normal senshi, if he was reading the aura right - and the youma who was still trying to stalk it's hopeful catch.
Oh, Themis understood the situation completely. Defeating a youma on one's lonestome as a normal senshi was easier said than done - especially if your attacks didn't, well... attack.
Fortunately for Pollux and unfortunately for the youma, while Themis' powers were still more support-oriented, he knew how to get rid of youma.
Before that, through... A rock was picked up from the ground, thrown, and hit the side of the youma's head. It hissed suddenly, darting to look at Themis as he stepped out of behind a tree. It didn't take much more than that for Pollux to be all but forgotten and charge the new senshi.

Pollux was ready to call Castor with an epic bitching and begging for a rescue, as humiliating as that would have been. Thankfully, with the arrival of another senshi it didn't look like he'd have to. His attack might not take care of the thing, but with some help..hey, weirder things have happened. And given what he'd seen, they would continue to happen. Oh Destiny City, what a special sparkle city you were. Full of kids running our causing massive property damage and killing each other. So very special.
Special also included tiger sized flying squirrel monsters. And thankfully, back up. "s**t." Granted he didn't know the other guy, but he was thankful they had come. Trees didn't intimidate for very long after all. Well, in general they weren't intimidating god okay distracting thoughts over. Dealing with s**t now? Yes? Yes.
Still in the trees, Pollux wasn't sure how to really do the whole 'team up' thing he'd been told about. "Hey." He didn't want the youma's attention but- "Hey! Listen." He had to talk to his temporary ally didn't he? "I can cast ice which can cover that thing, but it's not uh...very strong. If you can keep it still for long enough, I'm 90% I can land a hit."

And now Themis was getting his daily workout. Really, he was in better shape now than he had ever been before this whole senshi business crash landed on him and turned his life upside-down. It was a little pathetic.
Mostly, he was dodging, for now, the youma lunging and lunging, but the super senshi was simply too fast for it to be able to land more than a scratch on long sleeves. He just needed to get it somewhere wide enough for his attack not to get interrupted too much.
Ah, now the other senshi was calling for him, and Themis punched the thing in the face to get a few moments to listen. Just like that - punched a god damn flying squirrel tiger in the face. Business as usual. Keep it still, hm ? "That won't be a problem." Lucky for Pollux, this was Themis' specialty.
"Themis Noise Storm !"
The air rippled around him, and it looked like nothing happened - to them, at least. The youma was more or less going apeshit, screeching and chasing sounds that simply weren't there for the two menshi. But it was, more or less, still.
Pollux could get a good hit in now.

Pollux was pretty damn impressed with the unknown senshi's footwork. He had to admire the skill and practice it would have taken to move that well in...their outfits. Costumes. Things. Pollux refused to think of his outfit in anything less then a superman like thing. Just with less underwear on the outside. And no cape. But it hid his secret identity. Last thing he needed was someone who knew him finding out he was out causing general ******** in the city. Not that he had never done so. He had. But on a much smaller scale. Like littering small. Not 'I blew up a ******** building' or some s**t. He still didn't know if he could do that. He might try it one day...but not anytime soon. Being a 'menshi' and Castor's brother was hard enough.
Ugh ******** hell. He was turning into his brother at this rate, allowing himself to be distracted. All talk no action. Watching the youma going batshit was only good for so long. A few seconds into it's erratic jerks and Pollux picked his target. "Chilling Storm." The flat command was not grand or shouted with courage or conviction. It was just a flat, monotone command. Pollux still had a lot to learn about senshi flourish.
The air grew visibly colder as a distinctive crackle of ice could be heard. Looking down at the youma's feet, frost was forming at an alarming rate. In fact, it was crawling around and up anything it touched. The edge of the trees getting a nice coating on one side and the youma found itself with a think layer for frost on it's body. It's movements kept flaking the thin ice off, but it did do one thing. Slow it down to a snail's pace.
The perfect opportunity for Pollux to run up and attempt to snap it's neck.

Oh, ice. Not bad. Not bad at all. Some frost had formed on Themis' boot, but he stepped out of range before it could get too bad. The youma, on the other hand, didn't have this chance.
Moving has canceled Themis' attack, but the particularity of it's upgraded power was that it didn't end immediately after the attack was up. Add to thatn the frost, and the youma really had no chance. The bones snapped with a somewhat sickening crunch, and then the youma all but exploded in a small cloud of dust.
Shielding his face had became an automatism for Themis - sure, he was more often than not dusty as hell, but as long as his glasses were free of the damn stuff...

Pollux had never been unfortunate enough to get a mouthful of youma sand. That was true until all of a few seconds ago, when the youma had crumbled however. The shock of it literally crumbling tended to catch him by surprise desipite a few previous encounters, but this one? Hello sand and wind, meet Pollux, senshi of spit-take. "Ughhhhhhh-" Making several disgusted faces, Pollux was rather close to gagging. He might have swallowed. Swallowing was not in his game plan. No. Not now, not ever.
Composition returning, he looked towards the super senshi that for the life of him, would guess to be the senshi of band class. "So-" he spat the last of the sand out of his mouth, "I take it you were the one to get the signal? I'm Pollux." He offered a hand. Paid to be civil at the very least. "Senshi of Frost. If you're familiar with mythology, I am sorry to say, the myth of Castor and Pollux stands true for senshi-dom as well." He sighed. Best to just get it out there then try to hide it.

Yeah, Themis had been there. Done that. Brought the t-shirt. So he was rather sympathetic to Pollux's youma-dust caused plight. "Water helps." He wasn't going to admit he'd had youma dust shoved out of every open orifice of his face at least once, but... well, he had practically just done that.
"Im Themis." He took the offered hand, and it took a moment for the other man's next words to click. He really wasn't that much of a mythology nut, though after a moment it seemed obvious. "Oh, well that's... kinda ironic actually." There were probably worse reactions than this. "I know him. Hell, he's one of the reasons im still mostly in one piece." The other being Taranis. If he had never met neither senshi, who knew how he would have faired. Though he and Castor had a tendency to run into each other in situations where talking wasn't really much of an option.
You know, like huge ******** involving traitor princes.

Spitting again, he was thanking a few lucky stars he didn't snort the stuff. It probably would have sent him into a hallucinatory trip into evil space land. Shrugging Pollux took it at face value when it came to his brother. "He's unique, lets just leave it at that. As for his senshi abilities..." A mischievous smirk. "It is nice to know I can freeze his balls and get him to stop being annoying if only for a while."
Pollux looked at the dits of dust vanishing, no trace of the youma left behind now. "Do they all do that? Turn into dust? It..seems odd. You would think it would leave some organic matter behind. Or...not turn into clouds of...ugh." He grimaced. "I digress. You said you were the senshi of noise? I saw you attack but...what did you do to the youma exactly it was just..out of it there. for a while."

Freeze his balls ? Ow. Just ow. That had to count as cruel and usual, well... everywhere. "Im an only child. Should I count myself lucky, then ?" He couldn't help but be at least a little amused. He figured having a real sibling you lived with constantly for most of the early years of your life was much different than close-enough-friends-to-be-siblings.
"Yeah, they all do that. The reflex to cover your face just kind of settles in after awhile. No idea why the hell it happens, through." He shrugged. "Probably just to be extra annoying."
"Well, I amplified the sounds around the area. You know, the birds, the cars in the distance, all that stuff ? Imagine running that though an amp and then spitting that out a whole lot louder. My... area of effect is a circle so I think the noise might circle around things... Would explain why they keep spinning, at least."

Pollux just nodded. "Lucky indeed. Sure on some days it's nice, but most?" His eyes flicked to the left. "You don't want a sibling, they're nothing but trouble." It was a lie, an okay lie at best. But it was still a lie. Blue eyes flicked back to Themis. "Just...they're a nuisance, older or younger I would imagine." His boot brushed at some dirt where the youma had been. "Sort of like living with youma I guess. Annoying and dangerous and when they leave, they make a huge a** mess of things." Behind them, the various marks of the youma's path. Toppled garbage bins, a broken bench. All just to try and get at him. Pollux was glad he'd managed to take shelter in the foliage.
Still, he considered the other's attack. "Amplified sound? That explains the thing's reaction then. A good power, noise probably also amplifies that which we might not be able to hear but they can. Few things are completely deaf. Where as some might be immune to the cold." For a second Pollux smiled. Just a second, before his phone was flipped open, data added, and a small text sent to his brother. "I'm going to call it a night. Thanks again for your help." A small wave. "There is one benefit of having a sibling." He was already walking away. "They're easy to blackmail"

"I guess so." Themis let out a chuckle. Few things were truly deaf, indeed. At least, he'd yet to come across something that was.
The blonde nodded, then let out another chuckle at the senshi of frost's last words, but it was more clipped, less genuine. It was none of Pollux's fault, but all this talk simply reminded him of how much he had lost.
He shook his head, then was on his way as well, brows furrowed. It was definitively time to call it a night.
