So What did your band score at contest if you went and if you dont know what contest is...then don't answer lol ^.^

We just went yesterday with our symphonic band.
The final scores were straight superiors (1's across the board), but they were borderline. It was a bit of stretch, and we didn't think we could do it, but definitely proved everyone wrong.

Omg! Our wind ensemble got straight ones across the board too! xD Thought... we got a 2 + in the sight reading room. Your band is tiny xD Lol We have a band of about 91 people 70% of them being winds hahaha. Nice march though. What grade were you guys reading?

We were reading grade 6 music. The sight reading was fairly simple, though. It was Journey to the Summit, by Eiger, if youtube is correct, haha. Ughh I wish our symphonic band was bigger! It's only about half the size of the marching band we have, but the levels of the players make up for the lack of certain things. My BD always says that if he could have at least more of something, it would be winds.

Straight superiors (1s) at district.

The judges said that if that performance had been state, we would have gotten borderline superiors/excellents.

Exciting, as that puts us in a superb place considering we have another month to really make this amazing for state.
