Who told you that? It's not a matter of age so much as it is a delusional self-image... plenty of young people need to lose weight.

It is if she is already healthy and on track for her physical development. However, most Americans could use a little more activity and less fries in our lives.

Well, she does have flabs instead of abs. Like, she has a stomach and bigger thy's than me. But, I don't think she should lose weight. Do you think she could if she wanted to?

well it really depends, is she like starving herself? cause as far as i know, excersising and eating right starting from a young age, will make it easier on you when you get older, cause your matabolism slows and if your used to eating like three plates on a meal and not gain weight you do the same your gonna gain some ya know, as long as she doesn't do anything to drastic, so eat every three hours, you know meals and snacks, and excerise, don't over do it do what you can and try to push yourself little by little. its not an eating dissorder its a healty way of life -.-

I'd say if she's just got a little flab instead of abs, then all she really needs is to work out a bit and eat healthier foods. Do that and you're flab will eventually go away, but you've gotta keep at it. (Don't let her work herself too hard though)

Is this person past puberty yet? If no, then her body is storing up for that change. If yes, then maybe she should take up a physical hobby to keep moving.

I think people need to remember that only 5% of women fit the body type that we see on tv. If the friend falls between the normal weight range, eats regularly and is active, there isn't a problem.

It all depends on why and how she's loosing weight!! If she's trying to become healthier and is working on building healthy diet and excersise habits, then it's a good thing. If she's starving herself or doing it simply to lose more weight and look like the models than it isn't healthy.
