Rosie had a lot of preparing to do, the graduating class tour of Johto was coming up, and each of the students in her class was expected to have a good amount of training in with their Pokemon beforehand.
Most of the others in the class had a full team of Pokemon, Rosie however, only had three that she used for battle, though she was making steady progress with them.
The Vaporeon, Vany'n was standing at the other side of the clearing, standing, and watching her opponents for this training, The Pikachu, Kiss Kiss, and the Pidgeot, Perdy.
Their trainer, Rosie, stood behind them. and calling out attacks for the two of them. While Vahy'n handled herself.
This didn't worry Rosie though, Vahy'n was the strongest of the three, and much more experienced in battle.
Behind Rosie, A Meganium was sitting in the tall grass, watching the training quietly, while keeping an eye on the three eggs nestled close to her side.
Who of the, were moving, two adorable Togepi playing with one another, while the other egg, green and warm lay stationary.

Lake Elemi was a serene place in the middle of an expansive forest. A perfect retreat for those looking to get away from city life and do some training on their own. It was natural for Rosie to seek out such a place.
However, that didn't mean she'd be the only one there today. A certain Rocket seemed to be having similar ideas. In location such as this, she didn't need to worry so much about wearing her uniform. She could handle herself if she got into trouble after all. Plus, it was also an opportunity to scope out trainers with Pokemon to steal. But Nikki's original intention had been to look for flying Pokemon, but her search through the forest and so far come up short other than some Pidgeys.
Coming to stand alongside the bank of the lake, a breeze blew through her long blonde hair. A soft smile touching her lips, until she heard the sounds of someone else nearby. Her brown gaze turning towards where Rosie and her Pokemon were. Darkfeather was standing just a few paces away. The black Pidgeot taking the opportunity to preen himself

"Kiss Kiss, thunder bolt! Perdy, use Twister!" Rosie called to her pokemon,
Vany'n opened her stance, readying herself for the other two pokemon to attack,
She had to be careful with Kiss' attacks.
"CHUU!" Kiss Kiss called out, cheeks sparking before an electrick attack cracked through the air, and clapped against the ground, where Vahy'n had been standing moments before.
The Vaporeon pounced into the air, mouth opening as she went and shot a rainbow colored beam at the Pikachu.
Vany'n wasn't able to avoid both attacks however. the Pidgeot in the air successfully, landing her attack onto the water type.
This caused Rosie to flinch a little, while both her Pikachu, and Vaporeon got hit by attacks, despite knowing that they weren't trying to hurt one another, so were not using full power with the attacks.
"Good shot Perdy! you okay Vany'n? Kiss Kiss,"
"Va!" Vaporeon called in confirmation, already back on her feet.
"Pika Pika!" Kiss pushed herself back up, shaking herself out and getting ready.
"Pika?" Kiss Kiss blinked though, when something caught her eye, someone was standing by the lake.
Turning, she got Rosie's attention, then looked back to the human.
"huh?" blue eyes blinked, as she looked over to what Kiss had noticed.
Seeing the form of another person... with loooong blond hair, and a very large, darkly colored Pidgeot.
Rosie smiled, maybe they would be interested in a battle, she wouldn't have to train alone.
Since they seemed to be looking this say, pushing leaned up onto her tip toes and waved an arm up in the air at them.

Nikki stood there and watched the training for a few moments, her arms folding across her chest in a somewhat disinterested expression. Although her nose did wrinkle slightly in disgust as she heard the names of the Pokemon. Who the hell would name something "Kiss Kiss?" Apparently this girl would, and the heart shaped cheeks of that Pikachu were just... ugh.
However, her sights fell on that Vaporeon. Wait. She'd seen these Pokemon before, and she'd seen this girl before hadn't she? A small smirk crept up on the Rocket's lips as Rosie noticed them and smiled.
Well well. Perhaps this could turn out to be an interesting opportunity. Catching that Vaporeon would certainly be in her best interests.
"Darfeather," she muttered quietly, causing the bird to look up. He knew that tone, and simply stood ready. Nikki's hand reached for a ball at her side. "Lovely day for a battle isn't it?" She called to Rosie.

Wings beat hard as the pink Pidgeot lowered himself toward the ground, and landed, lifting his head up, and folding his wings neatly at his sides, eyes catching sight of the other Pidgeot.
Vany'n had turned to look over at the women that Rosie was talking to, While Kiss Kiss hurried over to climb onto their trainer's shoulder for a better look, excited to see someone else.
"It sure is" Rosie called back, a smile spreading over her face. "Are you here training? or just enjoying the forest?" she asked "I would mind a battle, if your up for it!"
She had had a new battles today already, and she was very pleased with her team.
From the back, Hattie lifted her neck high to peer across the pond, peering back down as the two Togepi, excitedly run over to Rosie's boots to see the new person to!
Perhaps it was because she was closer, she could see more of this girl, but yellow eyes narrowed softly, a small frown playing on Vany'n lips as she watched this women... namely what she was dressed in.

A pink Pidgeot, how pathetic. That thing was an abomination to the species. Even Darkfeather seemed to be insulted as he looked at the female.
The smirk remained on Nikki's lips as she turned and started walking a bit closer to Rosie and her group.
"Certainly. How about my Pidgeot against your Vaporeon there?" After all, the Vaporeon seemed to be the strongest of her group and Nikki would have to wear it down to steal it anyway. Darkfeather was the strongest of her group as well.
The black Pidgeot moved with her, staying a step or so behind his trainer and keeping a wary eye on that seemingly perceptive Vaporeon.

The closer the two got, the more stiff the vaporeon became, eyes narrowed softly, the water type walked over, back toward her trainer, standing in front of the girl.
"I would love to-" the smile on Rosie's face faltered a little as the women began to approach them... and something about the outfit she was wearing caused Rosie to stop talking, and go very still.
Lips parting slightly as blue eyes scanned over the red R that was over her chest.
She had seen this before....
"Uh..." Rosie managed to make an uncertain noise, reaching down to pick up the two Togepi at her boot, holding them close.

A smirk lighted upon Nikki's lips as she saw Rosie's reaction. So she knew about Team Rocket. This could potentially make things easier, or not. Either way, she wasn't intending to walk away empty handed.
"Or you could just hand him over right now, either way." The agent said with a casual shrug as she tossed a pokeball up and down in her hand. A hand that had been severely burned some weeks ago, and having finally healed. Of course she wouldn't mind taking ALL of Rosie's Pokemon, but the Vaporeon was what interested her most. It was truely a unique specimen.
At her words, Darkfeather's feathers bristled in a threatening manner. Adding emphasis to the underlying threat in his master's voice.

At this Rosie took a step back, her soft featuring looking very worried.... she had to admit, she was a little scared now.
"Please Miss... I don't want to fight with you like this."
Vany'n was growling now, Kiss Kiss quickly jumping from Rosie's shoulder to join Vahy'n.
They knew about Team Rocket more than even Rosie did, knowing that their home had been burnt by a member of this gang.
Perdy was a little more confused, since he wasn't aware of the situation, looking from the other human with the Pidgeot and his team.

Nikki didn't know anything about Rosie's house being burnt down by one of their own. She simply wanted the girl's Pokemon, and that was it.
"You don't have to fight. Simply hand him over and I'll be on my way. Its that simple."
The ball was then snatched from the air in mid toss. "But I doubt you'll go along with that. So I'll just have to take him by force!" And with that, she lobbed the ball, releasing a smoking fire tortoise. "Honu, Smokescreen!"
"Koal!" The Pokemon shouted back, before thick black smoke poured from its nostrils and shell, filling the immediate area.

"Vahy'n is a girl," Rosie felt the need to correct the Rocket, despite that she was looking a little pale.
Why was this women trying to take her pokemon from her? Why did that man try and take her to.
She knew that vahy'n was beautiful, but stealing her wasn't right!
"I'm sorry, but Vany'n's my-"
the girl called out a pokemon, and yelled a move for it to use.
Rosie let out a startled yelp, and staggered backward when a thick cloud of smoke overtook them.
Vahy'n was the first to react. shooting another Aurora Beam into the smokescreen.

A girl? Oh whatever! She wasn't exactly paying attention to those sorts of details right now. What mattered was actually snatching the thing. And then it fired an Aurora beam which seemed to just disappeared into the inky blackness. That thing could become a problem considering its type, but there were ways around it.
Another Pokemon soon appeared behind the cloud. "Yuushi, Sunny Day! Honu, keep it up!" More smoke billowed from the Torkoal, while the sun overhead suddenly turned blindingly harsh.

This women wasn't playing by the rules, clearly using multiple pokemon for this battle.
Rosie was terrified, couldn't see, and the smoke was stinging her lungs, she was instantly reminded of being in her burning home.
Again she staggered back, a little overwhelmed with the situation, and the only thing she could really think to do was stagger back, hugging the crying young pokemon to her and trying to think desperately of what to do. What could her pokemon do, she was a trainer she needed to know what to do next! Why didn't she!? Instead she was frozen in place.
It was lucky for Rosie that her pokemon were not helpless without her. Kiss Kiss had leaped off her trainers shoulder.
All three of the pokemon out in the battle dropped there heads a little when the sun scorched hit. and the air around them become more difficult to breath as everything become hotter.
they weren't about to just give up though. Vahy'n this time, used her Hydro Punk randomly into the smoke screen, the rumbling and gushing of high powered water erupted form the ground and lake.
The smaller heat cheeked Pikachu charged her own attack, letting loose a Thunderbolt into the cloud.
Perdy however, took to a might higher ground, wings spread, the large bird jetted himself upward. over the dark cloud.
"Geot!" He screeched, slapping his wings hard around the air, creating another Twister.
Even though Hattie wasn't much of a better. the grass type had used her vines to pick up the emerald egg, placing it behind a large tree in hopes to keep it safe. After this she bound to Rosie's side, wilting a little at the heat.

The was a bellow from a Charizard as one of the attacks seemed to hit, but Honu's smokescreen was rather effective and kept most things from view. Nikki had already pulled out a dark ball, intent on using it at the first opportunity.
Honu belched out another smokescreen, the little Torkoal being too weak to be of real battle use, but rather as a distraction. As the pink Pidgeot lifted into the air though and started to attack, a black one rose out of the smoke with an angry cry. He took the twister head on but continued to fly at the other with blazing speed and aimed an air cutter attack.
Yuushi though, snarled angrily at being pitted against two Pokemon she was essentially weak to. And in the next instant the ground was shaking with an Earthquake attack, not paying attention to or caring about the repercussions it would have on her other teammate.

Brown eyes widened as Perdy saw the other Pidgeot, much darker in color shoot up from the cloud as well, and take the hit from the Twister. That move didn't even seem to slow the Pidgeot down... oh boy what had he gotten himself into now.
he tried to bank to the side, to get out of the way of the Air Cutter.
It slicked into him though, with great power, causing him to screech and tumble in the air. Having to fight to regain his flight.
Damn, this wasn't good, that Pidgeot was a LOT stronger than Perdy was, there wasn't any way he would be able to beat this bird on his own.
"Pigo!"
Flying up higher, he preformed Feather Dance at the other Pidgeot.
"Pikaa!" Kiss Kiss was shaken violently and knocked from her feet. Hitting the ground painfully.
Rosie staggered back in surprise, being knocked off of her feet as well, and clinging to Hattie who at least managed to stay standing after the attack.
"Please stop!" Rosie called out into the smoke "Its not right to take someone else's pokemon! Please!"
Vahy'n couldn't afford to take to many hits. this was a battle she could's lose, and Kiss Kiss hadn't lasted through that attack.
she had to hold off attacking this turn to use her Aqua Ring, to help her regain stamina and health.
