Ana was done with another shift in the pediatric care room. It was nice to see that the children were doing well. It made her think about how her own child was doing. It would be any day now that the baby would be born in the next day or so. She had been feeling the beginning signs of giving birth. She didn't want to tell her husband too much. She didn't want to over react. Was it a boy or a girl? The doctor couldn't wait. She rounded the corner from the nurses station. She started to dial Adam's number. He was coming to pick her up soon and she just wanted to see how close he was. No sooner then she heard his voice answer that she relaxed. "Hey Adam.." A pain it her worst then the pains before. "Can you get her a little faster. I'm in some hardcore labor."

Ana of course knew the parts of going into labor and with a scream that she was sure her husband heard the water finally burst like a balloon. "Not it has." She answered into the phone. "Nurse." She called into the nurses office. It wasn't long before two woman came out of the office and quickly knew what was going on. "Dr. Nagreboshi let us help you." One of the girls said as they other called the cleaning staff. Ana did her breathing exercises. "I'll be in the maternaity ward when you get here." She told her husband. She wasn't going to hang up the phone until she knew he was beside her.

Once Adam had hung up the phone the doctor put it in her pocket as the nurses parade her in a wheelchair. Much to her protest. The baby would come faster if she could walk around. She was also talking to the nurses about the final preparations. "Dr. Sunderson is coming right?" She asked on of them. "Yes Dr. Nagareboshi, he was talking a nap in the breakroom." The nurse answered as they turned. The woman turned her head when she heard her husbands voice. She smiled at him. Sure her face was a little pale, but she wasn't in terrible pain. "Yeah. I'm fine, even a little excited." The doctor had gone through a couple of births of other women already and medical school probably had dulled her nervousness. It was just something she was used to. "Did hit anyone on the way here did you?" She joked as the nurses turned into one of the rooms. The nurse then helped her onto the bed before finally telling the pregnant woman that she would go get the birthing doctor.

The nurses giggle. They thought Adam was a sweet husband for asking a question like that right away. "Adam come here." Ana said as she was going to answer for the nurses. "Hold my hand. I'll need you as my stress ball." The woman joked. "You also can call out if is something come up before the doctor gets here. Emma coaxed Ray into helping with the birth." The woman informed her husband. "It's a unofficial rule that every doctor has to birth a baby." the woman told him about the rules of being a doctor. The other thing was stretches and broken arm of course. Her face gave a little twist of pain.

Ana smiled and squeezed her husbands hand in a teasing manner. She wanted him to know that she still could joke around even with all the pain in the world on her chest. There was a slight knock on the door before Ana's mother walked in. Ginger herself had a baby bump going on. Even while pregnant Ginger still wore three inch heels. "Oh Ana. I'm excited. I get my first grandbaby." The designer commented with joy and gave her daughter a hug. "When you're done everyone is in the waiting room." She said turning to Adam. It was a slight demand that he bring out the baby when he or she was born. Ana smiled and nodded. "You'll be the first outside of this room to she him or her." Ginger nodded and finally left after several minutes of Ana having contractions. It was then that Ray came in. He had a lip stick mark on his face probably from Emma. He was find of nervous and it was easy to tell that this was his first baby.

Ana couldn't help but giggle at her husband. "Don't worry. The only people who'll get to see it besides you are going to be female or help me with the birth. Besides. If you hadn't notice the doctor is getting married to my sister." She commented with a smile. The nurses returned and helped Ana up. She let go of Adam's hand and started to help her redress while Ray kept himself busy on the other side of the room getting ready. The assistants put the clothes in a bag and handed the bloody clothing to Adam. They would have to be watched. Ana laid back down and looked at the man she loved with a smile. "Are you ready?"

Ginger took the father of her children up to the maternity. She knew the pathway already from the many visits to their daughter while she was working. The woman pulled up to the door that she knew her daughter was staying in. "Go on and go it. I'm sure Ana is waiting for you." She told Devlin.
