A little bit. I noticed it when my friend unsealed his house once. I mean, yeah, a lot of things usually pass around, through, and near his house, which's why he put the seal up--he attracts them psychically apparently, like some kind of spirit lighthouse--but this was like WHOOMPH!

its been the same here where i am. we have the ghost cat and some overly curious thing which ive grown to not be fond of

It's comforting to know it's happening elsewhere.
Where I live, there's a lot of limestone, marble, and quartz. I also seem to be a magnet, of sorts. I'm quite used to it by now, but it's definitely getting a little crazy over here. Normally, I can just feel them. I've started seeing them lately and they're no longer always shadows. It seems the increase in activity and energies started sometime in the summer of '10. I don't know how it was anywhere else.

Now that you mention it, the last couple of times my Circle has meet I've spend the whole time in a trance. The last time this happened my teacher got quite excited as she thought I was going to start speaking.

I started feeling an increase in activity around me in late '09 and now I have 2 constant spirits and one that shows up occasionally. None have really bothered me. It was at this time I also started being able to communicate with my spirit guide(still not a huge fan of him). I still can't see spirits just sense them but i receive mental images now where I used to only see things in dreams. Friends and Family of mine have also started noticing things recently where they never had before. I have to also guard myself more because my empathic abilities have increased in the last year not sure if thats related but im not a huge believer in coincidence either.
I'm not sure if the increase everywhere is comforting but its nice to know im not alone.

Whear im at it's not so much hauntings as it is the entire atmosphear feels compleatly out of wack. I have noticed a lot of increased activity in other parts of whear i live. Wait a min....this is gonna sound really freakin super strange but.... while im no super smart person and im only begining to dwealve inside the workings of metaphysics... I had formed a small theory or so to speak. That at times paranormal activity spikes in all sorts of placesa across the globe. From hunanora and the versillies palace to the bell witch and other places around the globe, spirituial activity and major spikes in already highly active place begin to surge while a few places or a single place in the globe begins to show nothing at all. Like it just compleatly doesn't hae any type of spirituial activity at all. Then as the activity across the globe gets bigger and bigger and god only knows just how violent...the quiet single place becomes a major epicenter. This fits the bill almost compleatly or so to say. its not to mentio that a lot of natural disasters have been takeing place recently. From the recent flood/earthquake disaster in japan to the untold number of dead people in central usa from the recent tornado outbreak. I wish to futher my research on this but what scares me is the phrase "what if im right then what am i looking at hear?" Please let me know if things get worse or you find more information on my said theory.

I can answer for what's been going on with the tornado outbreak, especially in the Southeast. La Nina is coming through again and it always makes for very nasty weather. It shouldn't be much to worry about from a metaphysical standpoint. As for the rest, I don't know. I'm not sure how the bigger hot spots have been around here because I won't go to them alone. Stuff likes me a little too much to do that, heh.
Things are definitely picking up in areas where sometimes feelings are the only thing you get normally. I have a feeling we'll soon find out what is going on with all of this unbalance.

Wow. So I'm not the only one sensing it either? This has been going on for years for me. It's an on and off sequence of activity surges. Yeesh! I'm typing this right now, and I'm scared, yet happy to say this on here! eek
@Wolfwood: I can actually agree with that. I've been feeling these odd surges during very odd events. @_@

Okay, now curiosity is getting the better of me. For those who have replied (and for future repliers), would you all be comfortable with saying what state or, if you are outside the US, what country you're in? I'm starting to wonder how wide spread this is.

Im in Idaho in the West
I was also talking to a friend of mine who hasn't had any experiences since she was around 10 and all the sudden in the last 2 years shes started getting more activity around her and its freaking her out.
The Activity in my house alone has gone crazy Aubry (3yr old resident ghost) has become openly active where it used to be a nightly occurrence its now happening during the day we have dishes thrown off counters and doors slammed and opened and closed repeatedly, giggling, my cats often watch her and she has a thing with electronics tv, stereo and phones turning on and off volume and channel changes and she makes the phone ring ( im assuming this is her since we've had our phone checked and even switched phones and its still being weird). All this in the last month.

Wow Mela, that's both creepy and awesome 3nodding by 3 year old do you mean the ghost has been there three years or that she's actually 3 years old? Sounds kinda cute whee .
Activity around me and people I know has always been sorta on-off and random, but there are times (including lately) where it's gone up a lot and freaked me out before. My boyfriend was at a sleepover with some of my friends for a girl's birthday and one of the girls suddenly had a fit in the night, only to get up like she was sleepwalking, start walking around and eventually throw a massive kitchen knife at another girl! Thank #### it missed and stuck in the wall instead eek but while most people think she may have had some night terrors and a sort of bipolar-schitzo moment, I can't help thinking it was a bit too weird neutral
