Which sibling did you prefer?
Now to be honest, I can't give a fair opinion since I haven't had the chance to use Bethany yet but... I really really liked Carver haha so I don't see how she'll stand a chance

Also, what ended up happening to your sister/brother? Such as I brought Carver on the expedition and certain events played out. I know there's a variety of outcomes that can happen at that moment in the game.

I had Bethany just because I played as a Rogue. She really is my favorite than Carver personally. I'm not going to say much since it might spoil other people here. But let me say that I brought her into the Deep Roads with Anders and a certain event played out.

I played DA 2 twice, just to see who was better and personally I found Bethany FAR superior to Carver. Spoiler (Highlight) Plus I cried when I took Bethany on the expedition and she caught the blight and died. I was soo sad! TT__TT I still am! crying

Aw really? I guess I'm the only one who prefers Carver then haha. I'm playing as a rogue this time so I'm getting to use Bethany ... and I don't know... I still like Carver a lot more.
Ohhh and yess, me too I brought Carver on the expedition and ... (highlight) -->
I had Anders in my group, who was able to track down some Grey Wardens who helped Carver survive by making him a Grey Warden himself. I found that a pretty interesting twist to the story and it made me so happy that my brother didn't have to die heart

Bethany. I didn't take Carver with me and he joined the Templars...while his brother was a mage who highly opposed the the circle...what an a**.

Honestly? Carver reminds me of my husband and how he gets on with his older brother, it's a startlingly accurate representation of their brotherhood xD
Can't say anything about Bethany though since I haven't played with her, but my hubbie thinks she's a whiny b***h xd I'll post my opinion of her when I get to know her better.
Also *spoilers whited out-->*Grey Warden Carver for the freaking win. At the beginning of the game he entertained me, by the end of the game, I was so stoked to have such an awesome dude as my bro.

I kinda hated carver...he's such an a**..many times...but he has some cool convos(especially with varric and aveline) but personally I prefer bethany. Bathany's calm and really just cares about hiding and surviving..Carver is..well..Carver..it's understandable..but still...

Carver was cool if you took him in the deep roads *spoiler alert* and he becomes a grey warden and even then he is only helpfull and avalible if u r a mage

AUUUUGH OH GOD I just started a new DAII game with a darkskinned Hawke and I'm laughing way too hard at Carver's dreadlocks. As far as looks are concerned I prefer darkskinned Bethany to darkskinned Carver xD

I prefer Bethany, Carver was WAY too whiny at least in my opinion xd
I wanted Bethany to live so I made her a Grey Warden, mainly because im curious if it will be part of the next game.
Plus Grey Wardens are cool.

I'm in Act 1 starting to get to know Bethany better. ....honestly, I think Carver's more entertaining compared to her. Bethany's just this sort of one note nice girl Mary Sue type. ...well... I guess she's not that much of a Mary Sue since she can fight, but still, considering what happens later >.>'
