This is a roleplay where a kid who's extremely interested in the X-Men suddenly finds himself no longer a spectator in the action in addition to having powers he must learn to control; I'd like whoever joins to play as any of the female characters like Jubilee, Rahne/Wolfsbane, Phoenix/Jean Grey, Storm, ect. My characterName: Alexis Uraitsuki Age: 15 Personality: Quiet, slightly withdrawn from others, usually watches rather than acts. Powers: Will be revealed in the roleplay... Bio: Alexis is the typical comic book geek; he knows a lot about the X-Men and wonders what it'd be like to be a mutant sometimes. He doesn't show it often, but he has surprisingly fast reflexes for a normal kid as well as an eye for details that tends to get him into trouble more often than not in addition to a bad habit of speaking without thinking. (Not really, though my favorites personally are Jubilee, Rogue, and Storm; you can be anyone in the series you want, though, it doesn't really matter..)

Alexis Uraitsuki Alexis gripped his throbbing head as he sat up, utterly confused. "That'll teach me to walk down dark paths next time," he mumbled, standing up and rubbing his temple, feeling blood there but not noticing the cut had already healed. His gaze shifted slowly around, his silver edged blue eyes looking around cautiously. He knee he hadn't been walking; he'd been nearly running when he'd run headlong into the tree branch as thick as his leg. He stumbled over a raised tree root and lost his balance, tumbling down a small hill and coming to rest stunned in a yard. "Man... I feel like the basketball used in the seventh game of the NBA Finals," he muttered as he sat up slowly, his head aching. The first thing he saw were darkly tanned feet in sneakers and jeans before his eyes rose to the woman's blue eyes and whitish silver hair. I gotta be dreaming... he thought, staring at the woman whom he easily recognized as Ororo Munroe, a.k.a Storm.

Ororo looked at the young man on the ground. "Are you all right?" she asked extending a hand to help him up. Behind her the others continued their volleyball game.

Alexis Uraitsuki Alexis took the offered hand and stood carefully. "I have a headache that feels like someone hit me in the back of the head with a bat, though considering I ran into a branch as thick as my leg with my face, I guess I came out lucky just being out cold for a while," he admitted. He heard a male voice shout a warning as he twisted, somewhat surprised at his own reaction time as the ball shot directly where his head had been and bounced into the nearby bushes. He gritted his teeth for a moment as it had made his head ache more, but the pain slowly faded away.

Ororo watched him. She nodded and watched one of the others go after the ball. "Come with me, child. I need to make sure you don't have a concussion." She didn't know but suspected latent powers coming into affect. The Professor would know though.

Alexis Uraitsuki Alexis nodded slowly. He followed Storm, tilting his head. "I wonder what happened... it's too real to be a hallucination," he muttered under his breath. He blinked when he noticed the redheaded woman. "Jean Grey," he muttered. He suspected from Storm's glance at him she'd heard him, though he wasn't going to admit how he knew Phoenix.

Jean looked toward the kid as though he called her. She smiled before returning to the match with Remy, Jubilee, and Hank. "New kid, huh?" she thought to Storm. She saw the shrug.

Alexis Uraitsuki Alexis winced as he felt the muscles in his arms and shoulders start to cram painfully. "Am I right in guessing mutant powers sometimes hurt when manifesting?" he said softly. The only reason he wasn't flat on his face at the moment was sheer stubbornness. He gasped as the skin began to bleed momentarily; unless he was mistaken, the blood was seeping out of his pores rather than through cuts. The whole time he could feel the muscles cramping and burning even as he felt heat build in the pit of his stomach.

Ororo nodded. She stopped and looked toward him. "Sometimes," she said. She looked to the others and caught Jean's eye. She went back to the kid. "Just try to relax." Jean was already alerting the Professor as she made her way to the boy. She left the ball on the court. "I think it'd be best if you sat down," she suggested to the boy. "It might make it easier. Is this the first time this is happening?"

Alexis Uraitsuki Alexis cocked an eyebrow. Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'd remember something like this happening before, he thought, his tone half amused, half dry as if joking. He knew Jean would hear him, since she was a telepath. He sat down on the bench as he felt the burning spreading through his body. "I don't remember any other mutant having this situation, but then... everyone's unique," he muttered. He knew his clothes were dirty from the mud and now were going to be stained with blood. "It'd be horrible timing if Magneto or someone else showed up," He muttered. He grimaced slightly as he felt the burning fade away slowly. He felt an odd sensation as if something cracked in his mind, though he doubted he had mental walls.. that he was aware of. "You're right, Alexis, it would be horrible timing, though I'm sure we would be able to manage working around that," Professor Xavier said, half amused and half thoughtful. He noticed the boy did not seem surprised at either his appearance or his abilities. He attempted to probe the boy's mind and was somewhat surprised to find he had moderately strong mental sheilds, much stronger than the usual kind he encountered. It is possible he has encountered another telepath in the past who has erected mental barriers in his mind, he told Jean. He noticed the blood beginning to drip off the tips of the boy's fingers with some interest.

It's possible though I doubt it. He fell onto the lawn from the woods and seems to know me, she replied. She looked back at Hank. He would be more qualified to handle any injuries the boy may be suffering from. "Hank, could you come here a sec?"
