Matt is a boy who doesn't take crap from anybody. You get in his way, he'll drop you so hard your mom will feel it. He lives his life by the streets, and it shows. He's always got the same bored face on.
Generally he comes off as a bit of a douche, but he can smile and have fun, too. Depending on who he's with. When it comes to his sister, Vivian, he gets over protective.

♥ "Whatever."
Matt was born to a broken family. Being the second oldest, but only responsible one, he took it upon himself to protect his only sister, Vivian, who was being molested by their uncle when they were kids. He would often take her out of the house, and thus began their life on the streets, causing trouble.
He used to be a happy and bright boy, until his relationship with Vivian changed, and she started to take romantic interest in him. He then became reserved and quiet, and angry on top of that. He'd never push her away, no matter what sort of action she took on him, romantic or friendly.
Matt was at the hospital by chance, having a small accident that wounded his leg that gave him stitches. Now, he could lose much more than just a bit of blood and skin.

Vivian • His little sister. She's taken obvious romantic interest in him. He neither stops her advances, but he doesn't start them or add on to them. He just lets it happen. Either way, he's protective of her. It's obvious that sometimes he's not sure what to say, in fears of hurting her.
Paige • The intern he runs into at the hospital. She's the one that he knows completely has her back, so he has her's, too. They get along well, and she's one of the only people he's allowed to get close enough to him to make him smile.
Myla • The head surgeon who he runs into. She butts heads with him, but they make a deadly combo when they have to fight together. She can also get him to laugh and smile, but usually at the expense of Paige getting hurt and embarrassed. He does, however, not fully trust Myla. She's a little too interested in Vivian and his relationship with her, which he finds a bit suspicious.
