Image A large tree sits just inside the entrance, bearing a ladder on its side that leads upward. At the top of the ladder is a path, long and winding, that leads toward a happy little cottage. The entire area is bathed in a healing green light that does not stop at peak health; once healed, everyone in the area will continue healing, producing a harmful effect. The healing effect becomes stronger as the intruders move along the path. The path takes 20 total posts to traverse.

as Lucas was pulled in by the clone of gan he looked back so see what looked like gan in a state of... was it almost a recolection. as if he knew that man? Lucas didn't have time to figure it out as he was pulled through and then simply stood on the inside and looked around. it was an interesting scene and yet... there was an air of... something about it. it was happy. almost. euphoric. like a drug. he couldn't tell what it was but suddenly the ach he'd had in the back of his head started to fade ever so slightly yet just enough for him to knotice as he liked to keep track of his injuries as proof of his adventures. this.. was an odd situation. he was being affected. but by what? "gan... gan's clone. whatever you wanna be called. do you feel that energy? it's as if something here is releasing some immense power uncontrolably. what do you think we should do?" he said still surveying the area.

After the clone brought Lucas in, it poofed. A minute or two later, Ganchou calmly entered, turned back towards the door, then made a handsign and pulled a kunai out of the door hinge, causing it to swing shut. After a few muffled thumps, Ganchou turned to Lucas and said "There's... there's a ladder over there. Lets... investigate. Come on..." Almost as if in a trance, he drifted over to the ladder and ascended, taking in the path and hut as he waited for Lucas. He could feel a slight tingling sensation on his body, but it didn't register.

Lucas followed him over to the ladder and stared up. he wasn't sure what they were supposed to be doing here but what he could tell was that this path was the only way to be able to find out. "gan what is your interpretation of all this? nothing i've encountered in the past is similar to this so this is a little unsettling." he said with obvious caution.

"Really Lucas? I would have thought situations like this would have been commonplace in the Miyamoto household. Well, my mistake of course. This is obviously a challenge of some sort, and the best ways to deal with things like this is to either outsmart them, or go with them. Seeing as there's nothing really to outsmart, we'll have to go along with it." Ganchou said, a small smile starting to form on his face. "So, lets go!" He took off, calmly striding towards the far off cottage and scratching at an itch as his mishealed bone shifted.

Lucas smiled. gan really did know the Miyamoto familly well. almost enough that he would have thought that gan would have been a part of the familly. "oh they are common place. but i was often in the kitchen cooking. but i would often hear of the tales. but having never really been able to go out on my own till recently i've not been allowed out of the kitchen or my room. i do miss that dear kitchen. had some wonderful spices you wouldn't find anywhere else. that much i can say because of my travels in search of stories and knowledge. but... i agree. let us move on. however. may i suggest a constant check on ourselves so that if there is some sort of progressive effect we will be able to note those changes and determine what it is or at least narrow the possibilities." he said following and noting the scratching of what must have been an itch in his arm. odd that he would be itching in such a situation but it was also not like they were in a situation where they were in immediate danger but if it was a progressive effect where the closer to that cottage they got the more powerful whatever this force was got they could be in for a serious problem and gan could end up being wrong and they may have to outsmart whatever this force was. "and dont be so sure that we wont have to outsmart the situation. i've known people to find themselves in full chakra aparition situations where they had to outsmart chakra itself. mind in those situations often there are memory residue left making it slightly different than if it were to be just pure chakra." he said calmly stiding after gan and feeling some stiff muscles loosen in a few odd shivers.

"Mm, true. But it doesn't seem quite like their Style, at least not right now. Still, nobody can predict everything, neh?" Ganchou said idly, his gaze wandering around the area. His arm had stopped itching, and instead his whole body had a rather annoying tingle going on, as small cuts and gaps silently closed.

"it is true that no one person is able to predict every possible outcome. now. tell me. how do you feel? are you experiencing anything out of the ordinary? unusual sensations? even the simplest of things can indicate the worst of possibilities." he said and then almost seemed to drift off into a memory even though he was still entirely aware of gan and his surroundings. the cottage in the distance seemed so close yet so far away. must just be a simple optical illusion caused by a disproportionate spacial memory creating an area in his head where he would position things he would see so that he knew distances from everything to anything. it was almost as if he could create a map within his head just by using his spacial memory. "does that cottage appear close or far to you? i see it as far yet to me it also should seem closer" he said confused a little.

Small cuts & bruises aside, the healing aspect of the room was beginning to overpower our duo. What happens when something that is already healed tries to heal itself? Dizziness, cancer, vomiting, blacking out, & eventual death. There was an easy way to deal with the effects, but would they figure it out before they died?

San walked through the door into the other room, and began to try to take in his new surroundings. the healing effects felt good and renewed his chakra stores, but it would be interesting to see how the others delt with it.
((were are we in the room))

"Look, I see two people, San. They are pretty far off though, can you tell if its Ganchou and Lucas?" He walked into the calming field as they exited the other room, to be honest calm was creepy to him. He liked the other room much better, Gamakichi spoke up quickly. "Howaido-san, this place isnt safe, the healing effect is too much for unhealed bodies. Bad side effects, yo." It was good to have them with their senses to the area around them, it gave him a heads up. "I knew I hated this, San ideas?"

Using his kagura shingan, San identified the people as the duoka duo. He spoke quickly, thinking of a way to escape this horrible room.
"yeah, thats them"

"Do you think we should try to catch up to them or come up with a plan first? We need a plan, but theres an off chance they already have a plan, and the variable that they may be dieing and need us to have a plan active when we meet them, this would require fast calculation. My first thought is injuring ourselves..." he shrugged as it was a start,"better we could use a chakra consuming technique that works constantly." It was then when that variable was solved for them, it was like the room had a mind of its own as the path shortened or maybe just moved them. Within a minute Ganchou was within focus and the two were walking with them,"I hate this room!" Howaido grumbled to himself,"I am much more comfortable in obviously near death situations..."

San began using his art of joint control to keep eating his chakra in certain bursts to keep the room from hurtin himself too badly, and was moving in step with Howadio to the duo.
"I found my cure. How are you holding up?"

Howaidos whole body glowed bright,"If I spread Chidori through out my body it eats up chakra like an alley cat." He smirked as his body glowed like a light bulb, "not very stealthy though..."
