alright so i've been trying to think of a good idea for a fencing manga. you know when they dress up in white with swords. well i used to take lessons and the problem is that everything is postured. like you have to be in certain positions. i wanted to bridge battle manga with sport manga but it wouldnt be interesting watching masked men stand in one place and poke each other with swords just kidding i know its a lot more than that and i love it but you know what i mean.
so
how can i make this interesting. they need to be epic battles you know.

Things like they could fight all the way out of the room and down the street (almost getting hit by cars the whole time) and finally fall in a lake or something

Oh that does sound cool! it reminds me of something I've been reading called Bagattaway (something like that) it's based on this girl that moves to the city for school, and she ends up joining the lacrosse team, very interesting.

maybe there could be some secret orginization, and fencing has to do something with it. or some sort of school that teaches them for some reason they'll need dangerous moves from fencing. idk but it's a good idea what you have.

if you are gonna do a manga like that, you are gonna need quite an arssenal of posses and angles. That will help it become interesting.

put a greater threat in there, not just an opponent. Like trials one must go through to get to the opponent. Like beasts and stuff. oh yeah and gore. Every action manga needs to have some gore (Or at least bloodshed)

Well epic battles don't necessarily make a good manga.
Sure they're pretty cool and fun to watch, but character development is what usually keeps a person into it.
Unless you're going for one of those typical shonen mangas where it's battle after battle after battle because some inexplicably stronger enemy keeps showing up time after time. I'd suggest working on story and character development before getting too worked up over battle scenes.
But if you're desperate to get some practice on battle scenes and making them look dynamic and exciting I'd suggest looking through other mangas and their fight scenes. I'm sure you can find a lot of different works have quite a few similarities when it comes to battles. You could proabably learn a thing or two from them.

It's not too hard, it just depends on how you lay it out. You can also take reference from sword-fights as well.

Speed lines, direction, and impact will help a lot.

And changing poses to create tension between panels. Of course you'd have more freedom drawing it yourself to create more interesting angles.

Then you can look at existing anime/manga with fencing too.
