Welcome to Gaia! ::

So, I have to admit: I ******** love my boyfriend. He's so awesome. I keep thinking all these wonderful things about him that I want to express, but I can't post it on facebook because a potential employer might see that, and I can't tell my friends because they'll mock me, and I can't tell him because it'll inflate his ego. So now, I will share with a bunch of random strangers/acquaintances because you guys will never tell anybody I know. Kay? Kay.

I shall refer to him as Camus. Because that's his online handle. He and I met online, but we date IRL. We first met at a mall, a few days after we started talking, and he says he fell in love at first sight. I liked him at first, but I'm a shy girl. Even so, he kissed me the first night we met, because he likes everything about me. And I love that. I like that he appreciates me for exactly who and what I am. He even thinks I'm pretty! (Not in those words, but he finds me attractive.) It helps that I find him good-looking too: he's big and tall with dark hair. My shoe could wear his shoe with room to spare. My head fits right under his chin. It's perfect for cuddles.

And we have everything in common. We like video games and anime (even some of the same ones!), and he keeps exposing me to new stuff that he thinks I'll like. And I usually like it! We've been playing through Final Fantasy IX together, and we play other games on the weekend with my friends. Earlier tonight, he taught me to play Go. (He kicked my a**, it was my first time playing. It made him feel like a bully, but I was being a baby about losing. XP) He's really smart, and he sees insight in things that I take at surface value. He can match me intellectually, and we share lots of experiences.

We balance each other, too. I'm kind of strict with myself and beat myself up over small mistakes, and he's an utter hedonist who just wants to enjoy himself. He encourages me to indulge myself, and he even lets me boss him around sometimes. He lets me be myself, too. I'm okay with crying in front of him, and I cry in front of him a lot. (Mostly with happiness. Occasionally because I'm so heartbroken to see him go home.) He appreciates me, and I appreciate him. And I love that he shows his emotions in front of me. Camus may lose "man points," as my friends and I joke (the joke being that he loses man points whenever he does something less-than-masculine, and I'm left being more manly than him) but it's so cute. He squeals, he has a happy dance, he's ticklish, he's a total p***y when it comes to cute animals, and he cries in front of me too. He tells me everything. It just makes me so happy that he and I match so well.

Maybe I'm too young to think I've found the guy I want to be with forever, but I'm so happy with him I can't see it any other way.

If I think of more reasons I adore him, I'll post them here. It's healthy to get all my "squee-"ing and fangirling over my boyfriend out of my system... rather than clogging up facebook. >_>

haha. I totally understand your need to do this. People used to get tired of me going on about how wonderful Alpha was. I'd probably do it here, but he'd probably feel awkward seeing as you all interact with him and not just me.
