Mutant powers: Able to deconstruct his body into small molecules that look like regular gray smoke. This allows him to fly and slip through even the smallest of openings, as well as making him immune to physical damage of any kind. He can see, hear, and even smell fine in this form, though he is unable to move anything over 5lbs in weight due to this nature. He can also launch blasts of compressed ‘smoke’ from his body that can do physical force, though in doing so an equal amount of his body must be deconstructed to manage this. He usually deconstructs one arm, able to create one large blast or three medium blasts from the limb. He has been practicing lately to bring other objects, mainly his clothes, but possibly other people as well, along with him into this form.
Normal talents: An expert parkour runner and athlete, he’s very flexible and enjoys breakdancing. He’s a pretty good boxer but generally doesn’t like fighting much. He's also an amazing cook. He's a fairly good sketch artist and likes to do wood carvings occasionally, he doesn't consider himself very good but he actually is. He doesn't tell people or show them his wood carvings.
Personality: A laid back, but mischievous kid, he likes messing around with people. He’s sometimes a pervert, and occasionally uses his powers to spy on the more beautiful women of the institute. Despite this he’s a nice guy and quite loyal to his friends.
Bio: He first discovered his powers when he was 7, when his arm suddenly vanished and floated around the room. The smoke alarm went off, and his parents rushed to the room, finding their child without an arm they rushed to the hospital. No one had an answer, but the next day his arm had returned and was back in place. Hearing of this, Max Eisenhardt sent a few people over to investigate, and after finding that he was a mutant, he was invited to the school at the age of 11. He accepted, having become a troublemaker and deciding that he could use a new place to hang out, and his parents certainly wanted a break from his antics.

Mutant powers: The ability to absorb DNA from any animal she has touched. She can then shift into that animal, though she can control how far she shifts. She can also shift straight from one form to another. She can only absorb the DNA if she is in her human form.
Normal talents: An amazing artist. She's also pretty good at anything athletic but she dislikes playing sports.
Personality: Cheeky, playful, and disruptive at times but never cruel. She cares for her friends, though she's constantly exasperating them. She loves playing tricks.
Bio: Katra discovered her powers when she was 10. She'd been playing with a cat, then suddenly, she
was a cat. Her parents freaked and threw her out of the house. She wandered around for awhile before showing up at the Institution one day, though no one knew it was her. She kept to the form of a stray kitten she'd gotten trapped in. She didn't have enough control of her powers to shift back. It took a couple weeks, but finally someone figured it out and she was able to return to her human form. Since then, she's stayed there and studied, gaining control of her powers. Unfortunately though......She hasn't exactly mastered shifting with clothing. Her clothes get left behind when she shifts and when she returns to human.....Well, let's just say she prefers to be alone.

Personality: Egotistical. That's the first thing that comes to mind. Quickly followed by idiotic. But he hates seeing injustice or people being picked on.
Bio: Kyrian discovered his powers when he was 16, being a bit of a late bloomer. He was thinking about his girlfriend, wanting to go there, then PFOOF! He was there, scaring both her and himself. His parents sought out help and thus Kyrian found himself at the Institution. He mastered his powers quickly, and developed a bit of an ego.

Normal talents: He's a very good chess player, lucky with dice, and a surprisingly skilled pianist. Though he CAN use his powers in such activities he prefers to do it on his own. He's a fair gymnast and knows some Tae Kwon Do, though he doesn't like fighting. He's also an excellent cook.
Personality: A quiet, generally withdrawn boy. He doesn't say much and is actually rather shy. He always thinks that other people believe his power is stupid.
Bio: His power was discovered publicly. At a chess tournament when he was 10 he started moving the chess pieces with his powers instead of his hands. He barely noticed it, but his opponent definitely did. He was accused of cheating but, with no proof, was allowed to continue. He won the tournament, but on his way home he was attacked by other contestants of the chess club and beaten badly. After recovering in the hospital he was found by Max Eisenhardt and invited to the institute. He accepted, but only after his parents convinced him it would be the best for him.

Mutant powers: Able to shift and alter his body's shape and mass. Allowing him to stretch or enlarge his body to great sizes. So far he has managed to increase his entire body to four times it's original size, though he hasn't tried to go beyond that. His strength and durability increases proportionate to the increase in size. He can also choose to only shape certain parts of his body, like his arm or foot.
Normal talents: He's a surprisingly skilled artist and enjoys painting. He's also very good at working with plants and helps to cultivate the school gardens.
Personality: A soft-spoken and gentle boy, he's kind and compassionate, and always wishes for the safety of others.
Bio: He was always a gentle child. Yet he always threw himself into harms way to try and protect others. Because of this he was often beat up by bullies, yet he never got angry at them. One day he saw a child trying to cross the road, with a semi truck barreling down. He leaped in front of the semi and his arms increased in size and he grabbed the semi, stopping it in it's tracks. The Institute immediately came and offered him a place at the school. He was wary at first, but when he was told that he could learn to use his powers to help others he immediately agreed.

Mutant powers: Possessing immense latent psionic powers, the exact limits of which are unknown. However he does not have full control of these. He wears a helmet that currently helps control his abilities. However his powers still pass the helmet, whenever he is truly determined about something his powers will manifest and help him achieve his goal.
Normal talents: A skilled wrestler and linguist, his helmet makes speaking uncomfortable at times so he usually sticks to sign language unless someone doesn't understand that.
Personality: Serious and determined, he is a bit grim, but immensely loyal and focused.
Bio: January 22nd 2001, was a terrible day for the small town of Stensville. In fact it was the town's last day. The epicenter of a huge, unexplained explosion, there was only one survivor. William Ardenvale, who, it was found by Max Eisenhardt, was the cause of the explosion. His helmet was fashioned and he was brought in to the institute to learn how to train his powers.

Personality: a kind woman who took to helping humans and mutants alike.
Bio: Born Moira Kinross to Scottish parents, Moira MacTaggert was one of the world's leading authorities on genetic mutation, earning her a Nobel Prize for her work. She was the longest running human associate of the X-Men and was Professor Charles Xavier's colleague, confidante, and also once his fiancée, having met and fallen in love with him while they were postgraduates at Oxford University.[2] She ended their engagement when for reasons unknown she married her old flame, the late politician Joseph MacTaggert. Joe proved to be an abusive husband; Moira separated from him after he beat her into a week long coma and, as it is implied, raped her, leaving her pregnant. She kept her son's existence a secret, and when Joe refused her a divorce she allowed people to believe she was widowed.
She eventually created a Mutant Research Center on Muir Island, off the coast of Scotland.One of Moira's goals is to understand human/mutant genetics. She is there with only a small number of loyal assistance and her infant son Kevin.
Faction: Moira's connection to the X-Men began long before the team formed. The silent partner in the founding of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters and co-creator of Cerebro.

Personality: A manipulative and calculating individual, he is dark and sadistic, gladly willing to twist a person’s feelings or thoughts to make them do his bidding.
Bio: Little is known about Wraith, his beginnings, or anything else about him. Only recently has his group, The Sculptors, begun to take major action.

Personality: slightly insane, slightly depressed, dark and sadistc
Bio: An Aspiring author Annietta discovered that she was a mutant when her nightmares became real when she was being jumped by a local gang. She currently is self-taught and has no one to turn to about this, having kept it a secret from her family. She enjoys using her powers for crimes, thinking that there is no way that she can be caught, especially when she changes her form to look like a semi-solid shadow. However, having no one to talk to about her powers, and the initial discovery, nearly drove Annietta insane thinking that no one would love her anymore.

Mutant powers: With immense strength and endurance, the armor plates on his body are extremely tough, able to resist even high caliber bullets. He's able to roll himself up into a ball and move at high speeds.
Normal talents: He's good at painting surprisingly, though he doesn't get the chance to do it much. He's also good at hitting stuff, both with his tail, with his flail, and with his hands.
Personality: He's naive and immensely loyal, easily manipulated and rather innocent.
Bio: His mutant powers showed up when he was 3. His parents hid him from the world, not wanting anyone to see him. His older brother who had no mutations always liked him though, and played with him. When Armand was 11 people in his small village found out about him, in fits of fear and rage they attacked, killing his parents and brother. Armand rolled up to defend himself. The townspeople couldn't hurt him so they set the house on fire and left him. Wraith saved him from the fires, took him away, and raised him. Armand is immensely loyal to Wraith.

Mutant powers: Able to alter her bone structure completely, including growing spikes and blades of bone to use as weapons. She has a minor healing factor that allows her body to recover from the wounds caused by the bones jutting from her skin. Her skeletal system is also immensely durable, capable of withstanding immense forces. This strange mutation has also caused her bones to appear jet black.
Normal talents: An avid biker, skilled at driving motorcycles and fixing them up. She is also a metal head and knows how to sing, play guitar, drums, and bass guitar with equal skill. She also happens to be a fairly skilled swordswoman and is not too bad in a fist fight.
Personality: Tough and sort of a b***h, she's mildly obsessive and once she decides to go after something she never surrenders. She doesn't get along well with others and generally disdains 'teamwork' in anyway.
Bio: She was raised hiding her ability from everyone, parents, friends, family, and anyone else who might suspect. She thought she was a freak and believed she was the only one. She did make one true friend though. A young boy named Aven SilCore. She fell in love with the boy, he was surprisingly sweet, and very fun to hang around with. One day Aven revealed his secret however, Smoke, as Aven later became known, revealed his mutant powers to Roxxana. She was stunned, unable to speak, amazed that anyone like her existed. Aven mis-read this response and fled, believing that she thought him a monster. The next day Aven had left to the Xavier Institute. Roxxana, not knowing anything about the institute, became obsessed with finding Aven. Wraith found her a few years later and manipulated her obsession, saying that he would help her find Smoke if she worked for him.

Normal talents: Drives like nobody's business. He can climb into the drivers seat of any vehicle and have it figured out in minutes.
Personality: Very forgetful. Playful and teasing. His temper is slow to ignite, but beware when he does get angry. He prefers to look on the bright side of things.
Bio: Jared knew about his powers since he was a small child. He would sit and play with candle flames for hours. His parents found out when he was six. They tried to hide Jared away from the world but he refused to be hidden. When he was ten, he got into a major argument with his parents. His powers got out of control, using the candles to fuel a major fireball that burned down the house. The fire trapped him and his parents inside. Since the fire didn't effect him, Jared survived, though his parents didn't. Wraith found him passed out in the ruins of the charred building. Since then, he's been with Wraith, following along like a lost puppy. Even now, he still has the puppy mentality a lot of the time.

Normal talents: An amazing singer. She loves to sing and dance because it puts her in the center of attention.
Personality: Jealous and vindictive. She acts sweet but really, she's a b***h. Plain and simple.
Bio: Lala grew up in a normal home, as an only child. She reveled in the attention her parents lavished on her. Until the day she turned ten and got into a fight, using a sonic screech attack. Then her parents were disgusted with the "monster" she was. The Institute intervened, pulling her from her home and settling her at the school. She hides it well, but she's never forgiven Magneto for that. She hates the school and all it represents. Why should she be nice to the people that kicked her out for something that wasn't her fault?

Bio: Fae doesn't know that she's a mutant, having self-taught and professionally been taught the ways of a samurai. Ever since she was a little girl the tales of Samurai would fascinate her, with their Honor, and their romanticized battles, it was then that Fae decided that she wanted to be a Samurai, even if she couldn't find a lord to swear fealty to. She immediately began training and began to adhere to the Bushido. She is currently wandering around, searching for a reason to be what she is, taking care of honorless scum when she comes across them.

Bio: Born in the mid 1920's Lilliana at first thought to be a miracle. She was a very ill infant and doctors doubted she would live to be a toddler and when she did it was a miracle. But when she grew to puberty and her powers manifested the people of the small American town she grew up in called it witch craft. They tormented the poor girl, calling her the devils bride and eventually casting her out threatening to kill her parents if she returned. Depressed and alone Lilly wandered the country but could find no city to accept her. Eventually she traveled to a cave in the northern part of the country and encased herself in a block of ice to freeze herself and either die or await the day when she would find someone to accept her.
