I'm moving up to Washington myself, but I don't know much about the bands up there. My dad said that there was band when he was a band nerd, but that it wasn't nearly as good as his old school. (Which was the other side of the country.) But who knows? Times change. I'm sure that there are plenty of bands there. Just do your research, and you may find out! wink

Well there is my schools marching band. We do pretty good there are only 5 schools we haven't outscored yet in the state. Those schools are in the Seattle area. So if you like almost non stop rain then the seattle schools are for you.
Now if you are talking about college I would suggest Central Washington University. They have one of the top music programs in the state.

I only live there for part of the summer. But I've heard that there are some very good music programs in some of the schools. They also have nice programs during the summer for Marching Band or just plain ol' concert band.
