“I call upon the forces of existence that flow in my blood. Life, death. Destruction, creation. Heed the call of this upholder of the grand balance!” With such a simple statement, the dragon Isarain began his work. He had been given the task of creating a training ground, and along with that the permission to make his own residence in the center. It was his chance to use his power, and he intended to put it to good use...
The Crystal Tower
Located a mile and a half from the western volcano, it towers over the surrounding grounds. The exterior of the tower is made of golden crystals, every inch of which is etched with runes of power that help provide the energy for the core. There is no door into the tower, all one has to do to get into the base floor is simply touch it or one of the many golden crystal spikes that stick out of the grounds around it. The first floor of the tower is a rest area; complete with a pool and bar to get refreshments or food from. The second floor, the rest area, can be accessed via a spike in the center of the room. It contains many beds for the tired trainees to rest on.
The rest of the tower is blocked off by wards woven from the power of destruction, and my only be passed with permission from the tower's master.
At the very top of the tower is a swirling vortex of black energy, held by four curved golden spikes. It's from that point that the spell spreads over the one mile area around the tower, providing a variety of effects for those looking to build their skills.
The grounds around the tower are, by default, a barren wasteland. The desert that had once stood there had been changed by the power used to create the tower.
The Tower's Gift
By entering the grounds around the tower those seeking to train are immediately subjected to an attack against their mind, designed to learn their limits. The attack keeps pushing till it gains entry into their mind, and from there it gathers the information it needs to best train them. It will change the environment around them to one that best suits their tactics, and after that point the spell works to train them. If they need combat practice, it will create warriors that will push them to their limits without killing them. After the battle any wounds will heal at a slightly faster pace than usual, most wounds heal within twenty minutes. After that point the effects of the spell are unpredictable.
Should more than one warrior be in the same area, the area turns into a dense forest. Any damage inflicted to the grounds or tower itself mend quickly, making the area almost indestructible.
There are many golden spikes jutting out of the ground no matter the terrain generated, touching these will immediately transport the individual to the first floor of the tower.
