..... Next time their's a gay rights parade, I'll go watch it, and if I see some people protesting it, I'll happily kick them in the face. Also, that girl needs a right good kick in the teeth.

Meh...
I may not agree with her view, but I recognize her right to it, no matter how incredibly stupid I believe it to be. Unless it escalates to physical violence, I can't say I care too much.
BTW, all the people who I personally see as ignorant idiots in this thread, I, and the blog post would both like to remind you that it's up to interpretation, not all, in fact an incredibly small number of religious people are anything like that.

It is only a select few who go to church every Sunday and hear a completely different message than everyone else. In every religious text, you will find a scripture that says something along the lines of "love your neighbor as yourself" and "don't judge, least you be judged" but people like this girl tune out this part of the sermon. These people aren't REAL Christians they are religious bigots that reflect badly on the rest of the religious community. I knew people like this in my own church a long time ago and after my family became the target of their persecution I no longer wanted anything to do with church. I went from being religious to spiritual. Not that there is anything wrong with being religious, its just not me.

True, but I wasn't really referring to you.
Just the people that seem to exude that, "LOLRELIGIOUSIDIOTS", theme.
I'll admit, some of us take it much too far, their "holier than thou" act assimilating their every sense. These are also the ones who really get out in the news, and people get to thinking that all religious people are like that.

Here's the truth of it. Yes there are people who actually follow the Christian beliefs, but there are are quite a few who just need it as a front to hide behind. (Correct me if I'm wrong.) That's just what it seems like to me. Some people use religion as a way of making their actions justified and right no matter what. On a more specific point, it's used by people who refuse to change and believe their way of life is best and that everyone else should follow it as well.

It's people like her that make me sick. If she was the face of Christianity, I would find a new religion, or, make my own religion, which I was planning to do anyways, I'd just speed up my plans... by a lot.

George Carlin. I don't think anyone in this thread is a real atheist, at worst I'm Agnostic Theist..

Some one needs to correct her way of thinking be fore she starts her own cult or joins one.... It will turn out bad for every christian on the face of the earth if another cult of "Christians" starts to kill those of other religions...
