The sun was setting, it would soon be time for her to head back to the weeping lion lest she attract too much unwanted attention. Saengdao had half a mind to sleep out in the forest tonight, if only to see what wonderful chaos it would cause amongst Sahen and his Ligi. There was no crime in it, even Sahen could not spin something like that into an act of treason. She could say she had found herself to tired to return, she was no longer the sprightly young lioness she had been in his mother's reign, and that she had thought to rest for a moment. The idea made her laugh, he might even believe it if he wanted to believe she was weakening. She'd sooner die than let him think she was weak. But she couldn't. Those of the Atmaja depended on her to guide them through their lives, now more chaotic than ever.

Yawning, the god walked aimlessly, wondering who his next target would be. It was getting a little boring, but the god was too lazy to try and find something more engaging.
Ruffling his feathers, he glanced around, his golden eyes scrutinizing everything that they could. Boring, boring...oh? Females always caught his eye, regardless of what was going on around him.
He wasn't quite sure how to approach her. At times it was more entertaining to approach with a disguise, but at the moment he wasn't too motivated to hide himself. With a tail swish, and a curious glance, he approached the golden lioness, a grin plastered onto his face.

Saengdao looked up from her resting place, catching sight of something peculiar. She closed her eyes, gathering herself up before she opened them again. Still there. Her fur bristled and for a moment she thought to run, but something drew her to stay. It was smiling? A large lion, with something on its back. Wings? She felt faint, tucking her paws in close to her body as she wrapped her tail around her hips. He had a familiar look to him, too familiar, as if he were someone she had spent her whole life looking for. That was too much, he couldn't be. Sahen was trying to trick her, prove she was out of her mind. Her breath caught in her throat as she tried to speak, only a squeak escaped her as her eyes fixated on him.

He surveyed her with interest, mildly curious on her story. She seemed quite content with where she was, and a bit nervous to boot. Feeling a twinge of disappointment, he continued on towards her. Usually when someone was nervous, they weren't very entertaining. Pity that Dath wasn't very hungry right now. Hopefully he'd get something out of this.
"Speechless?" he asked with a chuckle. "I appreciate the flattery, but there's no need for that." He got close enough for comfort, and plopped his rump down, indicating that he wasn't going anywhere. At least for the moment he thought, his tail twitching as it rested behind him.

"I've heard about you," she said finally, her breath slowed to a crawl, "Since I was just a cub at my father's knee." It was all he could be, she remembered the descriptions from the stories. She was not sure if anything had changed, there were variations, she supposed because of the gods' methods of rebirth. Still, she knew who he was, and what he meant to her pride. She was his representative after all, the one meant to ensure the chaotic house remained safe and stable. Had he come to punish her for being unable to hold to that? She could only hope not. "The chaos is disrupted," she said after a moment, "Does this upset you?" Gathering her courage she set her eyes on him, a mixture of fear and childlike wonder behind them.

He arched a brow. "Oh" was all that he said at first. It was one from that pride. He knew of them, but he almost never went to visit. Perhaps a mistake, as more belief in him would help strengthen him, but there were times when it was more fun to be a thorn in the world's side than to be 'responsible'. He did not allow himself to sigh, or complain. This was something that was turning into business, and he did not want to disappoint.
"The only way that chaos can be disrupted is order," he answered calmly, feeling his claws rake at the ground. Order. How he despised this. Unless it was an offshoot of that...of Justice. Just thinking of his sister infuriated him. "What has happened?" he asked, feigning interest.

"We have been disrupted," she said, feeling safe in his protection that the Ligi would not come near. She did not know if this was the truth, or what to expect, only that she found it difficult to veil her meanings around him. "Our leader has overwhelmed the power of the houses, my house is too fearful and cautious to properly honor you," she admitted, hanging her head a bit, "I was tasked as your representative, but I cannot fix it. The chaos must come from the inside, it must be inspired." The gods themselves might have an easier time of it, but they could not be bothered all the time to intervene. If the Ligi were listening this was dangerous talk.

Dath frowned, feeling the annoying twinge of duty. He kept himself calm on the outside, but inside he was boiling. He knew that it was part of his duty to be responsible for those that worshipped him. Not in the way that he desired, but it gave him the power he needed to create chaos in other areas of the African lands. Ignoring this might damage him beyond his comprehension.
Mortals. So irritating, and yet they were so needed.
He felt a growl escape his throat as he narrowed his eyes at the lioness. "Inspired?" he echoed, letting his mind wander. "Is there something that you are asking of me?" He wondered what her ideas were; his were one only of violence. It was what he longed for, always. It was not a good path to take, especially within a pride.

Saengdao shook her head, stiffening a bit. She hadn't tried to offend him, yet he seemed rather on edge. The thought of offending a god terrified her. "I am not so bold as to suggest anything of you," she said quickly, "We are resourceful, I wished only to know your thoughts on causing such a disruption." Thoughts were innocent enough, Sahen could not possibly hold her in contempt for conversing honestly with her god. He was as much the Shatkona's god too. What would be done would be for the betterment of all.

He shifted his shoulders, letting his paws flex on the soft ground below. He was irritated, but he usually was. This was just something more than he was expecting. He had hoped to be entertained by a lioness; not to have worries put upon him.
"Resourceful indeed," he grumbled. He didn't have much faith in them if they had let themselves get into this much trouble. He let himself grumble a bit more. Extending a wing towards the golden speckled lioness, he let one of the feathers drop from his wing. "Take it. It doesn't draw a direct connection to me, but I don't put my faith in your mortals." He paused, wondering if this call was the right choice. It wouldn't really matter in the end; he could just ignore them if the mess they got into was a useless struggle. "I can come if you will it, and I decide to. I don't want to see my side of your pride fall." His last sentence came out with a snarl.

She placed her paw on the feather, feeling a shiver up her spine as she made contact with it. It was more than she ever could have hoped, as small a gesture as it may have seemed to him. To her it affirmed everything she had been taught to believe since she was a child, and her belief that the pride would come to right itself surged stronger than it had in years. He would be there, should they fail. They would not fail. "Then forgive me," she said softly, gaining confidence, "But my mortals will have to prove you wrong. We will overflow with strength, your house will be bright again."

At first he did not reply. What would words mean when the paws started swinging? Still, there was no need to say so out loud. They would either be able to handle it, or not. Only the future would tell.
"Then do it," was all that he said. He figured that this meeting was over, and turned to go. He needed to find some real entertainment to escape the sense of responsibility that tainted him so.

"Thank you," she said as he turned to leave, feeling herself begin to tremble again. Should they fail she will have displeased her god, and nothing good ever came of upsetting them. Her house would only become stronger, this much she knew, the undercurrent of resentment was growing each day. With this new assurance there would come a time for them to rise up. All they needed to do was wait and remain faithful.
