A story loosely based on the book Daddy-Long-Legs by Jean Webster.

I've never read the "Daddy-Long-Legs" book. However, I have found this adaption.

So it turns out this one has a very interesting premise, or at least more interesting then the works I've read so far. Of course it's based loosely on a book so I chock that up to the original. It only lasted 6 chapters in length. There's still that element of Shojo to it, but the storyline has to do with an arranged marriage. Obviously the main character is Maria. It's also a school story, but I think this is the best story of Naoko Takeuchi's older works. The writing it good, the art is printed well, and the storyline is kind of a mystery tale. For the MOST part the story is coherent and I like the characters. There are some background characters that don't really do anything, but they can be forgiven by some other characters that seem to have a background motivation.
