The library is more like a labyrinth than anything else, spiraling within a pillar throughout the center of the tower, from below the observatory to above the Forsworn Stronghold. The main entrance into the library is through a door in the tower commons that leads to the reading room, which is kept warm by a large fireplace safely fenced off and constantly burning. It is lighted by lanterns of magical make and filled with many different types of comfortable chairs, couches and pillows. There are personal reading areas if one wished to do some reading alone.
The library houses many of the oldest texts in all of the realms. Ancient spells and forgotten magic lay dormant in the countless number of volumes that are buried in the darkness and dust of the deeper levels. However, many of the doors and gates are sealed with extremely powerful magic for one reason or another. After all, who knows what might be lurking behind any one of the sealed gates. There is a rumor that in the deepest levels are lost armories of ancient magical weapons and tomes of untold power the likes of which the realms have not seen since Bahamut himself ruled.
