Nox stretched and rose from the rock he had been lounging on. It was a habit that he and his sister had had back home, they would lay with their stomachs turned up to the sky and watched the clouds go by. He smiled thinking of his twin, he didn't much miss his home but he did miss his twin she was good for entertainment at the very least. The purple leopard yawned as he turned to head towards the water that was close by, he had chosen this resting place becuase it had the river right beside it.
He bowed his head quietly and felt the cool water slipping down his throat. It felt nice as he drank he tried to decide what his next move should be. He had left his pride because it just didn't feel like home, he didn't want to train or learn an art he just wanted to be. But now that he was out here he didn't know what he should do next.

Eva walked leisurely, her pace slow. Her father was around somewhere, she assumed. Raised a wanderer, Eva had never really felt upset when she realised her father was not where she could see. He'd show up eventually. When she was younger, she was more paranoid to be alone, but she was never in danger when she was alone. The rogue lands were dangerous, sure, but Eva could take care of herself.
She leapt onto a fallen tree, walking along the horizontal trunk with ease. Leaping back to the ground, her paws hit the grass with a satisfying thud. She loved the sound of paws on the ground. She smacked her tongue against the roof of her mouth, realising her throat was parched from her wandering, and turned towards the sound of trickling water. Likely a brook or stream.
Coming across a river was a nice surprise though and she moved eagerly towards the water. She let out a low purr as the water hit her throat, unaware of any others around her.

Nox finished his drink and sat back looking up towards the couldless sky. As he brought his head back down he caught sight of another creature drinking just as he had been moments before. He turned and began to walk her way. She was a leopard just like him and around the same age as him. He wasn't sure how to approach her after all he had only encountered those who lived in the pride that knew who he was he had never approached a strange before.
When he made it with in ten feet of her he cleared his throat. He was sure that it would get her attention, and then maybe he would be able to find his voice. He hoped that he wasn't going to scare her away she was the first soul he had seen since he left his home it was good luck in his opinion that she was a fellow leopard. He took a couple steps closer keeping a close eye on the other leopard just in case she decided to attack.

Eva caught the scent of another leopard before she had finished drinking, flicking her gaze up and down the river. She spotted him seconds before he cleared his throat, obviously trying to get her attention. She raised her head, and offered him a smile - unconcerned at being approached by a stranger. She was a rogue - nearly everyone was a stranger to her and so far, she had not stumbled upon too many bad rogues to scare her away from strangers.
"Hello," she greeted politely, wondering why he had approached her. "Is there something you need?" She had nothing to offer, but her father had never taught her to ignore people in need.

Nox looked at the other leopard as she spoke. When she asked the question of did he need something he wasn't sure what the answer was, did he need something? "No, I don't think that I need anything i was just excited to see someone, I have been out on my own for awhile and you are the first soul I have seen since I left my pride and its just my luck that you are also a leopard."
Nox was very excited and realized that perhaps he was talking a little fast, "My name is Nox." he told her slowing his tone down. "It is a pleasure to meet you."

Eva blinked a little at his fast-paced words. They merged together a little, but she was able to decipher them from one another after a moment, realising that it was due to excitement. She gave another smile. Ah! A new rogue. How curious. She had been raised in the wandering ways, so not seeing people for a while was quite common to her.
"Well, glad I can give some joy with just my presence," she said, still smiling. She stretched a little, but nodded to him in greeting. "Nice to meet you too, Nox. My name is Dolc'eva, but call me Eva."
She tilted her head to the side, curious. "So what brings you to the rogue lands, Nox? Get bored of the confining ways of a pride?" She said, as a joke but prides were confinements to her. They were like a punishment, all those rules and boundaries.
