Zephyr was finding the atmosphere tonight .. unpleasant to say the least. Already, he had come across a few negaverse signatures the past few nights. Instead of battling, Zephyr henshined down into a civilian form, taking care to stay hidden until he could surmise that they were out of range. It wasn't that he was afraid of the negaverse. But he had no intention of recklessly battling with the negaverse. Of course, it would have been his duty to do so as a senshi. But Sailor Zephyr had never catered to the senshi side, why would he begin to do so now?

Tonight, Zephyr jumped into a park, his cape settling around him. It was dangerous to become a senshi but as far as Zephyr was concerned, it was far more dangerous to be caught unaware as a civilian.

To be honest, Zephyr didn't know what the hell was going on. It was his fault, he supposed. Aside from last saving the guardian cat, Zephyr hadn't gone back to being a senshi. And he hadn't regretted his actions since.

"...Ah." A sound of recognition, and Zephyr realized a completely unrelated thought. But it was very relevant. "....Did I forget to put out my trash?" It was trash collection tomorrow, and waiting until next week was far too troublesome. Zephyr rubbed the back of his neck in thought. No matter how he thought about it, he simply couldn't remember. And it was all the more reason to go home tonight. "I really need to stop wasting my time."

... So much for the senshi part of Sailor Zephyr.

On one side of the large metal garbage bins, silhouetted by the street lamp behind him was a figure in a long coat, and a large fellow. The larger guy, backing away from the coated figure, then tripped over his own feet and met the garbage bin with a loud noise that, despite Bismuthite's wishes, might very well have garnered some attention if anyone happened by. Well, that was if the man's babbling hadn't caught them first.

Search missions or not, Bismuthite still had a quota to fill. And he wasn't in the mood for playing around. not when he had more important things to do. Like searching for Tanzanite, Wolframite, and the others who were of less importance to the lieutenant.

Bismuthite's hand clamped over the man's throat tightly, holding him until the eyes rolled back in his head and he passed out. Then, Bismuthite took the energy he sought, stowed it away in his sash, before looting the fellow. taking the money out of his wallet and... That was a very interesting ring dangling from that chain on his neck. He pocketed that too with a more sentimental gleam in his eye, before backing away from the body.

"Just like you taught me. Hit the scum. The ones who deserve it the most." Bismuthite spoke a loud to himself as he found a couple of empty beer cans to kick over towards the guy, and a bottle that he maneuvered into a limp hand. He stood back to assess his work. "Maybe next time you'll think twice before trying to shove yourself off on some innocent lady."

Not that delivering any sort of lesson was his thing. That was more Wolframite's. Still, a spark of sentimentality was hitting the Negaverser in strange ways. Temporarily distracted, Bismuthite didn't take notice of anyone near by.

What escaped Bismuthite's notices was the trash can lid that rolled away when his target coincided against the metal receptacles. That exact trash can lid was heading directly towards Bismuthite's head if he didn't dodge it in time.

"What an admirable lesson. Should I begin with you?" There was a deceptive smile upon Sailor Zephyr's face upon hearing the lieutenant's last words.

His trick might have worked, disguising the unconscious man as a drunk man if not for his negaverse persona.

Zephyr had no desire to save that man. Whether or not Bismuthite was telling the truth about his actions was irrelevant. But Zephyr did believe in finishing the job. "Why don't I help to take care of the remaining trash?" And it was obvious in his tone that by trash, Zephyr was referring to the lieutenant.

Him? Trash? Bismuthite scoffed as he fixed his rose colored eyes on the senshi. "Don't trouble yourself. This man will be back up and running by morning. The worst he might get is a cold. And some real bad confusion."

Bismuthite seemed deceptively calm. The sight of a senshi immediately sent his emotions blazing. BMC or not, Bismuthite had been accosting senshi for information since the kidnappings. All of which had been severely confused, not knowing what he was talking about. It was too bad for them that Bismuthite didn't believe them.

"Unless you are a member of the Blood Moon Court, you're not worth my time." And it looked like Bismuthite might try to leave, had he not desired to know.

"The Blood Moon Court?" From the recognition, and a sigh, that accompanied Zephyr's voice, the name was definitely familiar to him. "I wasn't expecting that." Well, that was a surprise. It was almost ironic -- venturing back now, only to come across the organization once more. He wondered who was involved this time. Gunn? Ares? Or was it the other members of the organization that he had declined to join? How much trouble would they create before they were satisfied?

Instead of revealing his thoughts, "..I wonder." Sailor Zephyr said with a confident smirk, neither confirming or denying Bismuthite's question.

"Unless you'll crawl away like a dog with your tail in between your legs." Underneath his smirk Sailor Zephyr was definitely mocking the lieutenant. He honestly couldn't help it; Bismuthite's arrogance, so much like his, didn't let Zephyr stand idly by while called worthless.

Bismuthite at the very least didn't recognize this one as one of the senshi from that fateful night. Then again, he had to wonder that the BMC's numbers. At the very least, this guy seemed familiar with them. If he was a member, he was about to say something Zepher probably already knew. If he wasn't, well, then maybe he could spark some rage towards the court.

"Yeah, you see, the Negaverse doesn't take too kindly to our own being ambushed and kidnapped. " Especially when one of those persons was your boyfriend. He could only guess at what inhumanities they were committing right this instant.. "And quite frankly, I'm ready to beat the ever living s**t out of anyone that I think might have information on their whereabouts." Bismuthite wasn't going anywhere.

"...s**t." A unsteady smile replaced Zephyr's smirk. Ares had been entirely serious. Kidnapping the negaverse was a serious feat -- but if it was the BMC, Zephyr didn't doubt their skill. Their sanity and methods were a different matter entirely; It wasn't one that Zephyr cared to delve into.

"The senshi don't take kindly to being killed either." It was laughable that Bismuthite was defending the negaverse's honor against the BMC's dirty methods. The BMC had taken action first, but Zephyr didn't doubt that if given the opportunity, the negaverse would kill senshi without reservation.

"Why don't you indulge me?" He didn't spare another moment as he kicked a trashcan high in the air into Bismuthite's direction, meant to distract he lieutenant and cover Zephyr advance until he reached close enough to hold out his hand and shout out, "Break Wind!"

If the lieutenant took the direct hit, it would be a painful attack garnered together by the strong impact under wind.

"At least a quick death is better than torture," Rota's death had been quick. Bismuthite really wasn't the type to play with his prey. Though for people like Gunn or that camouflage senshi, he might have been willing to make an exception. Bismuthite barely had time to get in his retort when the trashcan Zepher kicked came his way. Bismuthite jumped back and made to parry the can away when the wind from Zepher's attack both knocked him off balance mid landing and accelerated the trash can, which hit the awaiting hand, jarring his wrist and elbow.

There was a slight hiss and a sneer on his face. He was never one to really let on how hurt he might have been. To himself or his opponent. "Idiot."

Bismuthite didn't see his weapon being much good against a wind attack. The paint would either come right back at him or the pressure from his wind and the air brush gun would stalemate. For a moment, he wasn't sure how to return the attack. So he didn't. That was sure to throw the senshi off, wasn't it.

"Tell me what you know."

"That's no fun." Zephyr remarked, his confidence undeterred by the lieutenant.

To ask him that sort of question was futile, considering that the Senshi of Wind was the third party here. Even if he knew, he sure as hell wouldn't be telling an arrogant lieutenant who simply demanded information and expected others to comply. How pathetic. "Would you like a silver platter with that?"

His movements stopped temporarily in lack of Bismuthite's passive response. "What? Can't fight?" His eyes tried to analyze Bismuthite's actions, not taking the lieutenant's actions for face value. Sailor Zephyr wasn't foolish enough to think that the lieutenant was as weak as he appeared. The negaverse existed for a reason. Still, he maintained his easy-going nature, remarking, "..doesn't make a difference to me."

"You'd better hurry for your friends though." Zephyr had all the time in the world. He doubted that his opponent had that same luxury.

"If by silver platter you mean the lid that went with that can? No thanks." Bismuthite moved his hand about, testing his wrist. "You know, it is odd. I try taking instead of fighting with a senshi to get what I want, and the senshi wants nothing but to fight. Are you simply born this obstinate and stupid, or do I just have bad luck?"

As he talked, Bismuthite was calculating how to make his move. The senshi didn't seem to be thrown off he bis previous lack of attack. Not like he had hoped. Well then...

"No. It's not that I can't fight. I was simply hoping not to have to waste precious time and energy on the likes of you!" and with that, Bismuthite charged, weapon was summoned, but instead of making use of the airbrush gun, he gripped the tube that dangled from the butt end of the gun, his plan to get it around Windy's neck.

Choke. Asphyxiate. Whatever. So long as it worked. Bismuthite just didn't find his heart in this fight.

"Sorry." That apology was anything but sincere. "I might consider it if you said something useful for once." There was that smirk again, as if Zephyr was looking down upon the negaverse lieutenant. Meaning everything that Bismuthite now said was useless to the senshi, and Sailor Zephyr no longer found it necessary to listen to his useless rambling any longer.

No matter what Bismuthite was fighting for.

Zephyr meant to back out of range, but his feet stumbled at last minute -- the tube coiled around the senshi's neck in the moment that he was caught off-guard. s**t.

"..!"
PostPosted: Sun Mar 20, 2011 9:02 pm

The stumble threw Bismuthite off a little, but in the end, the result was the same, and he was quick to tighten the tube around Zepher's neck. Dispassion still marked his actions though. He could be using this time to search. In fact that is what he should have been doing. Not indulging some fight-happy senshi that he couldn't drag any information out of.

"You still wanna fight!?" the lieutenant demanded. "I don't. But you just don't know when to let sleeping dogs lie. Gotta go be the good guy. for what? For some drunken pervert who will wake up in a few hours?" Pink eyes looked to the man staged against the bins, then back the Zepher.
"You're wasting my time. I'll make sure you don't do that again~"

Gunn was on her way home from a shift watching the Negaverse captives. Normally, she'd sleep in the green room, but in this case she'd not showered in a day, and felt rather gross. Now she needed to get home and check on her family--

but she heard a very familiar voice. Her exhausted apathy faded into a jolt of pure anger and hatred, and she skidded to a stop on a rooftop. Yes. That was Bismuthite, and... Zephyr. If it'd been Zephyr and an unknown Negaverser, sure, she'd just let them be. After all, hadn't the senshi of wind broken from her over an idealistic difference? He could handle himself without her extreme methods, couldn't he?

But it was Bismuthite. And she had vowed to herself that she was going to end Bismuthite if it took her starseed--he deserved it. The redheaded senshi shoved herself from the edge of the roof, landing heavily behind the light-haired Negaverser.

"You know, I really like it when Wolframite screams," she said, casually, as she reached out to grab Bismuthite's shoulder and yank him away from Zephyr.
PostPosted: Sun Mar 20, 2011 10:11 pm

Zephyr looked behind him, gritting his teeth as he did so. Bismuthite's words idealistic words didn't affect him, but his threat roused the senshi's anger. To be caught in this predicament -- while slowly losing air, his gloved fingers attempted to reach up to his throat to try and pull at the rubber tube. Sailor Zephyr never envisioned death by suffocation. It wasn't messy, but it was painful. Something that Zephyr was learning first hand, his fingers falling as the lack of air slowly invaded the depths of his body.

When a familiar voice broke through, and the tight grip on Zephyr's neck was released, he collapsed to the ground, gasping for needed air. His glove fingers checked for an other injuries to his throat.

"..Gunn?" His blue eyes alit with shock, but Zephyr composed himself shortly after.

Surprise, resentment, anger, and relief were all mixed together to create feelings that Sailor Zephyr didn't have time to sort in this situation. But above all, Zephyr was grateful for Gunn's presence. "..I suppose I owe you now."

The sound of another landing behind him wasn't missed by the lieutenant's ears. He glanced over his shoulder but before he even saw her, that voice told him who it was. And those words... if his heart hadn't been in the fight before, it was now. He moved with the yanking of his shoulder and made to punch the super senshi. Unfortunately, it was the same arm that had been jarred by the garbage can Zepher aimed at him earlier.

Bismuthite didn't like the odds here. A senshi and a super senshi versus him. As much as he would love to pummel Gunn, she had back up. And more power. He'd have to cut this fight short.

"Then I guess that makes us just a couple of sick ********. Cause I know I'd love to hear yours. Preferably while choking on your blood as you die."
