Kona skipped lightly on her feet, she hadn't left her pride in quite someitme, but she at the moment did not have a male in the pride to breed with all the servals were related to her. So now the silvery grey serval was on the prowl for a suitable male.

Getting a little tired Kona began to look instead for a place to rest perferably in the shade of a good tree. Perhaps a rock to lay on a stream near by. Kona knew that she was being a little pick and the chance of finding the ideal place to rest was slim to none.

Nadhir had been spending so much time with Vijaya he hardly remembered what it was like to be alone. Not that he would complain, the lioness kept him right within his own head. When she was around his visions were tamer, and he rarely got sick. There must have been something magic about her, he hadn't yet figured it out. She was resting now, he'd offered to do the hunting on his own for once. In truth, he wasn't sure he could do it but it was worth a try. And so when he saw the flick of movement in the distance he sped up. He'd catch something and bring it back and she'd be so happy. As he got closer he realized it wasn't a rabbit, or anything else he knew how to identify. Curious. He stalked closer to her, much louder than a trained hunter would have.

Kona found it, the pefect spot. She settled heselfontop the small boulde that was under a tree. Thee was no steam right beside it like she had hoped but she could hear the babbling brooke that wasn't too far away. The petite serval was so pleased with herself that she almost didn't notice the lion that was now stalking her, she put her ears back greatly unhappy that the lion was lookig to eat her.

"I am not to eat." Kona called out. There was a giggle in her voice but in truth she was kind of scared, she tooka little breath of air in. Her plan if need be was to scurry up the tree quick as she could, she knew the lion would be able to climb a tree too but perhaps he would consider her too much work if she put up a fight. She was kind of kicking herself now for not bring an escort from the pride, Banji would have kept her safe.

Nadhir lifted his head up, a little disappointed that he'd been found out so easily. It was a bad sign for the future of his hunt. For now at least things were fine, this whatever it was didn't seem too upset. "No, I'd figured that much," he said with a bit of a sigh, "I don't tend to eat things that talk back." It was a good rule, one that kept him from having any too strange visions. "Do you happen to know what around here is to eat?" he asked, deciding that the brooke might be a decent place to look for small fish. This thing looked feline, it must need to hunt just like he did.

Kona let the giggle out of her throught, "Not eating what talks back that sounds like a good rule." Kona said. She tried to size up the lion has he spoke, he was not a full grown adult yet but he was getting close. Now that she knew he wasn't going to eat her he didn't seem like a half bad lion. She found his natural colors appealing and he did seem fairly friendly.

"I'm sorry to say that I don't know much around here, I am just passing though on my hunt for a male." Kona was not bashfull about what she was doing out and about in the rogue lands. "Though if you listen really closely I was fairly sure that I could hear a brooke not to fair from her, just to the east I believe." She turned her head in the direction of that water she had heard earlier. "I am sure that you would be able tofind somehting around there, everything always comes for water."

"My name is Kona by the way" she told him "I am a serval from a pride." she added in for good measure. He must not have known what she was or he wouldn't have tried to eat her.
