How did they get this "Illness"?: Saw something from her past that made her go off the deep end and made her powers go out of control due to seeing some humans that looked a lot like the ones she had as friends before they were killed.

What is their "Illness"? : Suffers an unhealthy case of “Peter Pan Syndrome”, and acts incredibly childlike. Has lost complete track of what is reality and what is dream too, and will have the strangest logic to certain situations. Serpant will talk in segments or phrases rather than complete sentences, due to his developed insanity.
How did they get this "Illness"? : Having reoccurring dreams of random situations, to an overwhelming amount. Some of his dreams have felt so realistic, and that he constantly forgets whether he is in his dream world, or in actual reality. Both worlds seem to have merged through his perspective, and he will hallucinate every now and then.

What is their "Illness"?: Several ailments. Post-traumatic stress disorder and coupled with severe claustrophobia, anxiety, causing him to often suffer panic attacks, dysmorphophobia, an obsession with hiding his scarred face and depression. Edward can suffer very nasty mood swings and has a tendency of getting extremely violent when upset. During a panic attack, he is quick to turn to self-harm and has a very warped perception of himself, manifesting as an inability to respect himself.
How did they get this "Illness"?: Some time after he'd turned 20, Edward was kidnapped, tortured for several days and finally buried alive. The perpetrator was never caught and Edward's inability to deal with it, despite the help given to him soon crippled him too much to take care of himself and his life.

How did they get this "Illness"?: Nathan is not normal. Far, far, FAR from it; he's in an madhouse isn't he? The boy is a complicated cup of tea, and a mess of nerves and smiles. He was born dyslexic, and struggled through school. He had always been the quiet and reserved type. At seventeen, Nathan killed his sister in a car accident. Unintentionally, but it was a burden he would not carry with him. In fact, he laughed after the crash, after he had seen her lying on the edge of the road, broken and lifeless. The doctors had called him insane, absolutely loony, running on high meth. It had caused the accident, the collision with the tree. He constantly reminds himself he's getting better, even though no one has seen any progress at all. He's kept in the back, away from the others. Bad influences, bad, bad ALL of them. Heh.
