 Since the fight Atan had, had with Txur a while ago…she had been distressed over it. She hadn’t fully forgiven her brother for over reacting like that…but she also didn’t like being on bad terms with her brother. So she had made up her mind, she was going to talk to their father. It wasn’t a ‘im telling!’ type of conversation she had in mind, but more that she wished for guidance from her father as to what to do.
Atan moved to where she thought her dad might be as she looked for him, looking in several places before she spotted him near the borders of their territory. She sighed, Atan didn’t like to bring up problems like this with her father, she would rather sort them out on her own. But right now she was worried she would make things worse with Txur…so she decided it would be best to get some guidance from her father.
“Father..” she called softly as she walked closer. She wasn’t a small cub anymore, she was growing up. She knew she couldn’t go to daddy for everything but sometimes…it was good to have a parent’s guidance. And it’s not like she had a mother to ask…. “May I talk to you about something?”

Raja turned to see his daughter and he smiled at her nodding, "Of course, you can always talk to me." He looked back to the lands beyond the pride, thinking of his sister, thinking of Iztel, as he so often did. It was a nice day and he was content to just be until he was needed, everyone needed a day to relax and Raja was having his.
"Come sit with me, tell me what on your mind. It is not often that I get to spend good quality time with you and your siblings. You all have duties now as do I. Your all grown up and I could not be more proud."
Raja had no idea of the fight between his children, as of late his mind was always occupied or he was busy doing something for the pride. Their were new cubs that would be coming into training soon. He needed to prepare for this. Even more so he needed to find his focus again, the strive he had when he'd first came. It wasn't an easy thing for him to hold onto as of late.

“Thank you father.” she said as she took a seat. Atan didn’t think much of her mother. Her father had explained why she wasn’t around, but Atan still held a secret feeling of resentment towards her mother for not being around. Even if she couldn’t really help it…but her mind now was not on her mother, but on her brother. “Well..you see father…” she said with a frown as she looked down.
“Txur and I had a fight. It wasn’t recent, but it wasn’t that far back either. He wanted us to hang out and talk, and I was tired and I suppose I teased him a little. But he got mad at me and snarled at me even. I tried to talk to him but he just got angrier, then that made me angry and I said…terrible things to him. I haven’t confronted him since…I don’t want to make things worse but it’s been eating away at me.” she said with a frown as she looked up at her father. “What should I do? Do I talk to him? Do I wait for him to talk to me? I just don’t know what I am suppose to do.” she said, obviously distressed over the matter.

Raja was expecting the rush of words that spewed from his daughter mouth, he was a bit taken a back by it and he did not catch everything. He shook his head slightly holding up his paw for her to quiet down and then he spoke.
"Tsyal, please dear, calm down. You need not speak so quickly. I will help you of course, but I need for you to slow down and tell me exactly what happened. What was said between the two of you. You always seem so close and your brother knows how I feel on the matter of mistreating a princess, especially one that is you sister."
Raja easily slipped back into his old habit, of referring to every female as a princess. It was a trait from his old pride, one that he would never loose. One all his cubs knew about, he was sure if he should tell them they really were royalty or would have been in his pride would have made it.

Atan stopped and took a deep breath then tried again. “Txur and I had a fight. We both said bad things to one another. I am not sure what to do.” she said, trying to summarize it as best she could. She knew her father’s policy as far as how males should treat females, but that’s not really what she thought about when it came to the fight with her brother. She just wanted to fix things if she could.
“Txur got angry because I wasn’t excited about him waking me up to go out. I jokingly whined and he got defensive. Then I got defensive back and said things I shouldn’t have. I haven’t talked to him since..” she said with a frown.

Raja listen and nodded at his daughter words. When she was done he looked out over the outlands once more and gave a small chuckle. "My dear Tsyal, you are so worried, but to me it sound like a big misunderstanding. If you are so upset about you fight my darling princess, then why not simply apologize."
He looked to his daughter with a soft smile on his maw, "I am sure your brother will know you are sincere. You may have been upset for him waking you, he shouldn't have, but you certainly could have responded better. Did you find out his reason for waking you?"
Raja was curious as to why Txur woke his sister in the first place, it could have been something important and it would have possibly lead to a bad mood on her brother end, when he was not received well.

“Well…I am not sure if he would accept. Besides…he snapped first…” Atan was still stubborn after all…Atan nodded when her father asked if she knew the reason. “Well he said he just wanted to walk for a bit and hang out. Just to see each other. Then he got mad and I got mad…and thing’s just spiraled out of control..” she said. Maybe she should just apologize…if he hadn’t come to her to try to apologize by now then maybe he wasn’t going to…and she was partially to blame for the fight after all. “I know I could have responded better but…I usually joke like that whenever anyone wakes me. So I guess I just don’t understand why he got so…upset over it..”

"Tsyal, listen to what you are saying. This seems very uncharacteristic of your brother. Maybe there is something wrong with him," said Raja adopting a worried glance. His son loved his sister and he sought her out for quality time, but snapped for well he wasn't really sure.
Raja rose, "I think maybe I should talk to you brother. There may be something bothering him and he may need someone to speak with. After I speak with him I suggest you to go on a short trip together for a few days. I really think this is a big misunderstanding and you and Txur should forgive each other."
Raja turned and motioned for his daughter to follow, he was needed in the is matter, today was not a day for his mind to wander, so instead it would be better served reconnecting with his children. He had spent to much time apart from them, he did not see things he should. They were all grown up, but it did not matter.
"Come lets take a walk. I need to stretch my legs and I would like to here how everything else is going with you outside you fight with you brother."

“I know it is but…I don’t know if there was anything wrong he would have said something…” or at least she would have thought he would. But she did admit, it did seem out of character for him to snap like that. Though she supposed everyone grew out of the innocent cub phase at some point…
“I hope he won’t get cross that I spoke to you..” said Atan, still worried that her brother wouldn’t forgive her. “A trip? Where?” was a trip really such a good idea after such a blow up? They might just bicker more! But Atan wasn’t going to argue with her father’s decision…and she did ask him for help…but she was still skeptical.
Atan got up and followed her father when he motioned for her to follow, walking with him for a bit. “Thing’s are fine…I met a boy not too long ago…” said Atan, and if a lion could she would have blushed. “He’s not from our lands though. I was around the borders and ran into him…but he didn’t seem to have any ill intent…” she said.
