So I had/have a thread with a bunch of Ring Ideas in the z!F. I'd love more critique and work on all the ideas there (both those I actually fleshed out and pinned to the first post, and the bunches of cool ideas that got totally forgotten in the confusion of the thread), but there's quite a few ideas over oh so many pages. To get to a more manageable amount, I went through and picked a bunch to start with - ideas that either had gotten to the first post with a lot of uncertainties to how they'd work, or had been developed but then lost in the thread. Feel free to suggest more if you happen to think another idea I passed over or missed happened to really need work too.

Anyway, these are the ideas I picked out. How best do you think we could flesh these out fully?

Hot Potato
Effect: Knockback. Throw a potato at your ally (or just toss it and catch it again yourself), where it explodes into fluffy goodness, throwing back the animated.
AoE: Epic range to who you can throw the potato to. A small range around that person for the knockback (which increases with rage).
Stamina: ???
Cooldown: ???
Rage effect: Bigger AoE for knocking back animated. Stronger knockback. Stronger secondary effect (secondary effect = ???)

This was meant as a sort of crowd control to give your ally a bit of relief from a fight with an interesting kind of targeted knockback. I think it probably should have a secondary effect, but there are so many possibilities (healing for the ally from eating the potato shards, damage from the hot potato shards to the enemies knocked back, Root to those enemies due to the potato swamping them, etc.)

Pat
Effect: Ghi increase. Single target (self or allies).
A ghi hand pats an ally on the head. Higher rage gives them a pat on the back.

Does anyone have any idea on how ghi buffs would balance?

Nap - self sleeping (with increased regen) - a sort of self healing, regenerating (while unable to do much else due to sleep)
rr1: 4 seconds
rr2: 10 seconds
rr3: 16 seconds
rr4: 25 seconds
for sleep?
With increased regen (while asleep) about equal to rr2 Divinity and Healing Halo's kneeling regen rates (and it would stack)? Then maybe 5-10% persistent armor as well, throughout? Slightly increased regen for long naps?

Torches and Pitchforks
Effect: Damage, "melee" (technically, ranged, but that's because we haven't had any such rings before)
Range: Short.
Stamina: 4-5
Cooldown: 4 seconds
And then damage like Slash's. Rage ranks would get bigger pitchforks and more torches. The animation would just extend vaguely enough so that most distances would look fairly realistic for the melee look.
