I'm so sorry. I know what it feels like to lose someone. My uncle died last year. I barely knew him and still I cried my eyes out. The pain must be a thousand times worse for you. I deeply sympathize.

I'm sure she liked you for more than just your accent if she was going to Germany to see you. I mean, German accents are sexy, but it takes a little more than that to coax someone across the ocean.

I would say "I hope you feel better soon" and such, but I don't know what effects that may have. It always made me feel a little worse, so I'm not going to take that risk, for your sake.
Anything else I'd say would sound stupid....I'm just goint to leave it at that.
