Vinata stalked behind a small lizard, tail swishing back and forth. She had seen her parents do this many times before, however, she usually went after large prey to feed her whole family. As quickly as she could she pounced on the lizard and caught in her paws. She made sure she didn't push to hard since her goal was not to kill the small creature, but to simply see if she could catch it. After a few minutes she let the lizard go and went on her way. Her parents were out hunting nearby and she could not stand laying under a tree all day since it wasn't as hot as it usually was during this time of day.
Her brother and sister were still sprawled out under the tree where she had left them, probably still sleeping. Vinata didn't think she was adventerous, but she did like to explore a lot. Mainly just to understand the world around her. However, she never wandered off to far as her parents would worry and she did not want to chance getting lost. Vinata stopped walking when she reached a little pond where some elephants were gathered around it. Her eyes instantly lit up, and she watched the young one's play in the water. Slightly wishing she could play right a long with them.
