I'm going to build a condensed guide in App Quests for the new Knights class so you guys have a better idea of how to build a concept, but to do that I need to know what kind of questions it needs to answer. So please toss up here what you're confused or uncertain about, and I'll put together a set of guidelines to go by based on what people need to know!
Unfortunately, I can't answer much based on color scheme or design at this point (that's more Natsu territory!), but you can still ask them here so everything's conveniently in one place.

Kumo: and just to clarify, the place name doesn't necessarily have to be ON the planet they're pledged to? Just best if they at least correlate? Mowse: Yep Mowse: if it's a physical location on Earth, it would make more sense if it were an Earth Knight, but you can also pretend there's a place with the same name on another planet, I figure Kumo: what about like, raised on Earth, transferred/acts as ambassador to another planet? Mowse: that's the story of most Knights already -- they make their pledge when they reach the other planet Kumo: So in the past, the Knights would not have been Knights until they made their pledge? Mowse: Yup! Kumo: Okay Mowse: Like they knew how to be a Knight, but don't have the magic yet until they pledge.
Mowse: You can almost think of them as missionaries kinda Mowse: because they live and work at the place they've pledged to

So, Knights are basically physical, hand-to-hand fighters, right?
Does that mean their "weapon" in their first stage is more or less just an accessory for them to carry around in their pockets?
Since... from what I understand (which could be completely wrong) they don't use their weapons to fight, but they also don't have magic at their first stage...
What happens when they come up against, like, a first level Lieutenant with a long range weapon/weapon in general, or a Senshi with magic attacks that they can't physically defend themselves against?

Do knights have past lives ? Do they have any meant of exploring them ?
Does a space knight have the means to travel back to the planet they pledged themselves to ?
If yes on past lives, can we assume that they had at least met or had some loose ties to the senshi of the planets they chose to pledge themselves to ?

I want to echo Zero's question about past lives, and also add:
If we have an idea of how a Knight would have worked in the "myth" of our "wonder"-name-place-thing, can we write that up in our quest thread or something just for lulz?

Does knights have the same concept of subspace as a negaverse agent does ? aka can they put away and summon their weapon at will ?

I was also wondering about their power distribution (hi Guine!). In what way are they equal to a Lt. or a base level Senshi when they're a Page? The way it reads, it seems their weapons are not capable of channeling magic, and don't have any physical use. Does that mean they're physically (Ala, fists and feet) somewhere between a senshi or a nega? Since Negas have stronger punching power to compensate senshi magic use, and Knights have both but likewise both are limited... and they don't have either as a Page... I'm just kind of stuck on the first stage, and how they would play out in a fight.
