What is TALK?
TALK is Teach and Learn in Korea. It is a program where you go and teach for a certain amount of time at a Korean elementry school. You are actually teaching english to these kids while you live in Korea. Most if not all of your expenses are paid.
When can I do this?
To do this program you need to either have finished college or at least have completed 2 years of college completed.
How can I learn more?
Just go to this site: http://talk.go.kr/

.! I really want to do something like this but since I have to pay for my own college and I'm jobless right now it might take me a while /le sigh/ but if I ever do get the opportunity I'm jumping right on it !.

Wow! This would actually be great for me, since I am in school for education and will later get certified in TESOL and on my way to Korea!
Thanks for this! -bookmarks- xD

Well, I didn't finish college, but I did complete both classes that have to do with teaching early childhood year children. I hope that you find the people to help out in your good quest.

This is what I'm planning on doing after college and after I become fluent in Korean... (Because whether it's required or not, I've already gone not knowning the language proficiently, and it's not nearly as enjoyable as it could be.) Though I probably won't do TALK specifically. I'm more interested in teaching high school students, and I'd like to try to teach in a hakwon (private academy). Interesting to know they have a program catered towards elementary education though~

Don't forget about EPIK. http://epik.go.kr/
Has anyone done this? I'm hoping to apply later this year, once my TEFL course is done. It's a bit more involved than TALK, but the benefits outweight that (for me, at least. Feel free to disagree). razz

I know of another way. It's through my church. They have a missionary base (if you will, haha) in South Korea. c:
