*Sigh.*
I hate Valentine's Day. Somehow, I always have my heart broken in half JUST before Valentine's Day.
I feel so unloved.
I give V-day (and ANTI V-day) hugs and kisses to all my wonderful hippie brothers and sisters on Gaia... I hope your V-day and the rest 2006 is wonderful and happy.
With Love,
~Mouse~

I'm engaged but I still hate Valentine's day. My honey is somewhat understanding, but we get some cheap chocolate to share anyway; not because of the holiday but because we both love chocolate and it's so prevalent....
You should google search for "VD cards"...they're sarcastic and should be well-received by those you hold dear. smile

I'm not doing anything on Valentine's. I have no date so whatever. I'll probably stay in and eat a pint of Ben & Jerry's or something and then stock up on valentine's junkfood after it goes on sale the next day.
A couple days after Valentine's my friend, Trey, and I are going to the v****a Monologues that my school does every year on V-Day (procedes go to anti-violence groups. An hour before the play starts they have a v****a Fair. I can't wait. xd

Valentine's Day bothered me more in high school when balloons and flowers were status symbols. I've come to realize that it only has meaning if I give it meaning, otherwise it's just another day and an excuse for chocolate.

I think Valentine's has really lost it's original meaning...thus it's just another day for me, but that's probably also because in my country we have our own Valentine's Day, just 10 days after Valentine's Day, called Dragobete biggrin . Looks odd, right?.. rofl But still, Dragobete isn't special either. If I love someone, I love him everyday the same and give him gifts all the time, not just on Valentine's/Dragobete. I would feel stupid to prove my love just because everyone else does it at the same time.... Free love is loving who, when, where, and how you want wink

Not only silly, but boring and predictable, in my eyes. I'd rather not do anything at all on valentines day and then surpirse my lover a week afterwards. Or something like that. What country do you live in?

What country do you live in? I live in Romania, but most people haven't heard of it, so let's just say it's in the south-east of europe. Actually if I were to say that Dracula comes from my country, there would be better chances of you knowing twisted biggrin
