It could have been foreseen that after certain hurtful events of the latest mission, Faleen would fall back into an uninterrupted ritual of work… training and work, cutting much social interaction with other people and just focusing on what she could do for the organization as a whole. This didn’t make for a very fun Faleen, but it made for a good work ethic.
But as it happens, this didn’t seem to be Faleen Ewell’s destiny.
Agent Faleen wasn’t working today, instead, she was in the garage of the HQ, making her way to the registration room to log out a vehicle for the day. The young women was dressed in casual clothes, and relatively new clothes at that, at least ones that fit a feminine figure much better than the baggy look she had adopted when she first joined Team Rocket. Today wasn’t a day for training, instead, Faleen and a follow Agent Nyx were going to go out for the day, in favor of getting away from the HQ for a while, and possibly get some light shopping in. Faleen had her eye on a new tool kit she wouldn’t mind checking out.
Dark blond hair pulled back into a tight ponytail, with a lightly packed back pack on her back, the balls for her pokemon in the side pockets. The dark blond Agent paused when she saw something, and interest crossed her face when her eyes grew lager. “… Nyx,” She spoke after a moment, pointing a finger to a flat bed truck, which had a very slick motorcycle in the bed. It would be back for using in the desert, but once they got the motorcycle to proper ground… “I think we should take that today, what do you think?”

Nyx was busy with work after the last mission. The addition of a Legendary Pokemon in the labs required a lot of preparation before they could even think of releasing the creature from the Pokeball for research and experimentation. Almost every waking hour was spent in the labs, except for today. This was designated 'celebrate good things happening by spending money' day!
"... No." There was no way Nyx was getting on that thing; She didn't trust vehicles with four wheels, two fewer wheels wouldn't likely increase her confidence that they wouldn't die in a horrible fiery crash. However, Faleen was driving, and Nyx couldn't argue if the other agent insisted. "Does it even have helmets? No. I refuse." Celebratory shopping could not be started off with a ride on a death trap.

It was an avid, unhesitating response from Nyx, so much so that Faleen couldn't help but smile a little. "I'm quite good at operating one Nyx, you won't have to worry." she chuckled a little "And of course it has helmets," she pointed out, walking over to take a look at the magnificent little vehicle. Reaching into the bed she pulled up a Helmet that was sitting in it. "Right here, see?"
It wasn't much different roles when Faleen had been offered to learn how to fly on a pokemon. Faleen had nearly flat out said no, if she didn't think it would benefit her in the long run. Though, in this case, Faleen could think of a time when Nyx would 'need' to ride on a motorcycle. "Have you ever even been on one before?"

"No, and I am not fond of the idea." Nyx crossed her arms and looked stubbornly at Faleen. There was no way she was getting her on that thing! - - - -
Just minutes from the city, a terrified scientist was clinging to Faleen's waist for dear life. Why did she let her talk her into this? Helmet or no, this was highly unsafe--riding on the back of a flying pokemon wasn't?--and Nyx was not happy. Thankfully, they were almost in the city, where they could park, and then shop, and forget all about this evil motorcycle business.

Faleen on the other hand was having the time of her life! it had been way to long since she had been on one of these creatures, and she was loving every second of it. The loud grinding of the engine, revving it as they rocketed down the street, having this power at her fingertip and having complete control over it.
Of coarse, she was being aware that there was a smaller passenger who was clearly not as thrilled as she was, so Faleen retrained herself and resorted to a much more calm and easy drive.
Pulling the bike to a stop in a parking aria when they had reached their destination, the dark blond Agent lowered her feet to catch them before the bike fell over, waiting a moment to let Nyx off.

Nyx made what must have been the most ungraceful and hasty dismount from the offending motorcycle that there has ever been that did not also end in a meeting between a face and pavement. "Gha! Glad that's over!" She straightened her jacket indignantly. To think, Faleen managed to get her to ride that blasted contraption! They almost died! Sort of. In her head.
Her little temper tantrum didn't last long, at least; Nyx didn't have the attention span for throwing extended fits. "Where should we go first? Eeee- Shopping! Oh! Lets find a casino- No. No. Wait. Yes. No. Shopping, not gambling. Shopping." She may have been a little excited.

Faleen chuckled under her helmet when Nyx very desperately attempted to get off of the bike. swinging her leg over the bike while she knocked down the kick stand. "Oh I'm sure it wasn't that bad." The helmet was pulled off of her head and clipped to the bike, smiling softly.
Another laugh at the other Agent's excitement and indecisiveness . "Shopping does sound like a more suitable use of our time" she offered "and I do rather enjoy some of the shops they have in this aria."

Nyx removed her helmet and set it on the bike as well. "Yes. Shopping. Let's do that." If they went to a casino, the tiny woman would be occupied all day, or until they asked her to leave. No, that wouldn't be any fun for Faleen at all. "Did you have something in mind first? I'm fine with browsing."
She really didn't have any concrete desire in mind in regards to what she wanted to shop for. Nyx was more of a browser; She'd buy something that caught her fancy when she saw it.

"There is a mechanic store I wouldn't mind stopping in," Faleen mentioned, taking a few steps backward from the bike, her boot finding the pavement of the sidewalk. "There are a few tools I wanted to replace." She did offer a small, apologetic grin, knowing not everyone was into mechanics like she was, Nyx likely wouldn't have anything to do.
"The sun is something we don't get to see to often."

"Alright, lets head that way. We can stop in somewhere else if we see something!" Nyx grinned, she was just happy to be out of the base for a while; She didn't get to do that often. "Oh! New names! I'm Emma." Any time they did leave the base, Rockets were encouraged to use a fake name, not their real name or code name, it wouldn't do for someone to recognize either of her names and start snooping around for information.
"You're usually really busy in the technology labs, aren't you?" Nyx started walking down the street, staying to the right of Faleen. They passed a few shops without anything catching Nyx's eye. And then, suddenly, there was a gasp and the woman darted from Faleen's side and into a shop.
A Poke'-Pet-Shop.

"I'm Kaylee" Faleen said as if introducing herself for the first time. "Emma" She repeated, with a confirming nod. "That sounds fine by me, its been a while since I bought anything new, so I'm sure something will catch my eye"
At the mention of the Technology labs, a more genuine smile feathered the corners of Faleen's lips, "I'm still getting what I need set up, but I've been working on some pretty incredible ideas-" she blinked though when she found that the fluffy white hair was no longer walking next to her. "Uh, Emma?" she inquired, catching sight of the women vanishing within a pokemon shop. Guess she found something that caught her eye.
"Aren't places like this considered to be over commercialized with mill bred pokemon?" She asked, glancing around the pokemon as she caught up with Nyx

Nyx poked her head out from behind a shelf, "What? Oh, nonsense-" Maybe not nonsense, actually, but it didn't really matter to her. She regularly grew, experimented on, and disposed of pokemon in the labs with nary a care in the world. "Look at this!"
"Prii~" The dandelion headed woman held up a pastel colored Togepi with pink eyes up and close to Faleen's face. "Isn't it just the cutest?!" When coming up with words to describe Nicole Wattson, one would not usually think to add 'girly' onto that list. The display of wide-eyed grinning enthusiasm for the cuteness of something that looked like the epitome of a girly pokemon, however, would no doubt change the way the other agent described her.

Faleen stood with wide eyes, staring at the pink, bright and sickeningly adorable... thing now held in her face by a very excited Nyx. unsure of how to react at first as she just blinked at it.
Nyx was asking a women who thought that the epitome of adorable were well build robots and Sharpedos if she thought the Pokemon that looked to be sitting in an egg was cute... "Its very... small, and bright" she found words to describe it. "yes, its very cute, Emma, what is it?"

"Eeee- It's a Togepi, Kaylee!" The little thing kicked its stubby feet and arms gleefully the emphasize that yes, it was indeed a Togepi. "I want it. What do you think?" She clutched the tiny egg pokemon to her chest and hugged it, turning back and forth at the waist. It was doubtful Faleen would be able to dissuade her from this purchase, but she could try.

She had seen one before, Liam had had one, but she didn't pay much more attention after that. She didn't know much about this pokemon, but it seemed the kinda little children liked... or clearly that Nyx herself liked.
Blinking once again when she hugged it showed completely elation over having found it, Faleen wasn't sure what to say now. "Here though Emma? Pokemon in places like this usually have very poor bred lines, you could probably get much better back at the office...." The shop owners, having overheard the comment that Faleen hadn't bothered keeping at a low tone, cast a glare in her direction.
