Ahmes was walking along the shore line, looking around at all the sea shells that had washed up from the ocean. Sighing softly, he looked off to the ocean. It was such a beautiful day, and he had no one to share it with. Such a pity. Turning his attention back to the shore he noticed some discoloration among the sand. "Hm?" He cocked his head to the side and moved closer to it, "Spots?" He voiced to himself.

Arundhati decided to lay down in some warm, gold colored sand to sun bathe. She had a nice view of the teal aqua ocean and a warm pleasing breeze was blowing so she wouldn't to hot. Her eyes were closed as she just enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Moving closer, the spots turned out to be from a body, a vixen's body. What in the world happened to her? She was laying on the ground with her eyes closed. Was she dead? Inching toward her, he peeked over the side of a log. "Ahem...." he cleared his throat, his shadow covering over her. "Ma'am? Is....Is everything alright?" His voices was calm and steady, even if his insides were jumping that something must be wrong, making him feel like acting. On what he had no idea.

Arundhati had been lost in her own thoughts untill she heard a voice next to her and a shadow looming over her. In pure reaction she whirled around to face the threat and snarled baring her long sharp teeth, her claws read to hit something. She paused in mid-swipe to find a white and neon green male looking at her. She was unsure of what to do so she just kind of held her position and asked, "Yes?"

Ahmes arched his eyebrow as he watched her, not moving an inch. He figured that he had startled her, and it would be his own fault if he was hit. "I apologize for catching you off guard my lady....i did not mean to scare you...." He titled his head to the side and smiled at her. "I just saw you...and I was wondering if you were hurt at all...but you appear to be well in health so...I deeply apologize for bothering you Ma'am."

Arundhati lowered her paw and pushed some sand around with it. "Your lady?" she questioned before sitting back on her hind legs and watching this new male. "Why would you think something is wrong and why would you be concerned? We have no relation that invokes such an act."

"Well not my lady..." Ahmes smiled at her, "It was just my way of showing you respect." He bowed his head to her. "You were laying in the sand...I have not seen many vixens doing that....without a guard watching over them." He looked around, "Have you no male relative watching out for you well being?" In his culture, the males watched over the females to make sure that nothing bad be fell them.

Arundhati smiled at the thought of him calling her his lady. She liked it in deeded. "Its nice I like it. Normally those dont try and show me respect they want to fight." she said curling her tail around her. "No males at all. None a related. Most avoid me or want to fight or want something that I will not give."

"Oh...." Ahmes smiled at her softly, "Then my lady you shall be called from now on...." He made a swiping bow at her feet. "I am known as Ahmes, my lady. it is quite a pleasure to meet you this beautiful morning." He smiled at her sincerely which turned into a frown. "How disrespectful...fighting and begging off a young lady..." He tsked and shook his head. "I will not hear of it. Would you like a protector my lady? I can offer you my services for as long as you require, since you have no family of your own."

Tail wagging Arundhati nudged him with her head giving him a sly smile. "You will protect me? Really now? Do you know why they fight me? Do you know what I am?"She asked while circling him. She moved in a pierces motion showing off her silky fur and how well she moved.

"It matters not why they fight you." Ahmes smiled at her, watching her circle him with great interest. He was curious as to why she was doing it, scoping him out perhaps. "What are you, besides a beautiful vixen?" He cocked his head to the side as he studied her. She really was magnificent to behold. One of the most splendid creatures he had ever laid eyes on.

Letting her eyes run over this new intriguing male. He was definitely sparking some interest but how would he react when he found out what she really was? She didn't know but she was going to find out. "I'm a were-leopard. Like a werewolf but a leopard."Arundhati spoke in a monotone voice not sure how this would go.

"Were-leopard...." Ahmes looked her over carefully, "I knew that there was something different about you." He slowly smiled at her, "Oh...." He looked around, then back at her, "Is that it? Is that the only reason that people attack you?" He arched his eyebrow surprised, "Well that is the most fool hardy reason I have ever heard." He shook his head, "What a ridiculous reason to attack a beautiful vixen? What does it matter honestly?" He shrugged his shoulders, "It does not bother me in the least."

Arundhati was studding the neon green stripes on the male. She was sure he would turn and run or fight. She was surprised when he said it didnt bug him at all. "It doesnt? Really?" she stopped pacing around him and sat down behind him. "They attack me because as were we are known to be aggressive, territorial, possessive and violent. Sometimes I run into them on a full moon which is bad for them cause thats when i'm strongest. Some want to mate me but they dont stand a chance they are to weak, to stupid to even come close." her teeth bare a little at the last thought.

"Very interesting...so the moon does affect you." Ahmes nodded his head as he listened to her speak. It was very intriguing to listen to her explain about her race. "Hm....you don't seem to be overly aggressive, possessive..any of those things to me...And I would never come upon a vixen surprised to attack or to mate....When I fight it is when they are aware of my advances and it is face to face..fair....as for mating...that is entirely up to the female...I would never push my affections off on any vixen that did not want it." Ahmes smiled at her.
"I am feeling now that you do not need my protection...you seem very capable of caring for yourself....I apologize if offering my protection offended you in any way." He bowed his head, "I meant it out of respect, my lady."
