Went with L because I have many of the same habits. xD my 2n't favorite would have to be Light or Mello.

I would have to go with Light because I enjoy that sort of a protagonist. I really liked Ryuk, Rem, and Mikami too though; Ryuk for his dark humor, Rem for her selfless devotion to Misa, and Mikami for his crazy fanticism.

I'd have to say Mello.
His character really surprised me.
I mean rival among characters in anime isn't unique, but the simple methods he used. And how far he was willing to go by Human means, unlike in Bleach and Naruto, it was exceptional and I loved it.
(Nearly died when he shot that missile.)

Hmm, i love them all, whats not to like?
If i had to choose L. Because he's so weird, you don't get a character like him often.
Matt & Mikami are close seconds. Matt is just cool. Even though he lasted for a few minutes. Mikami, kind of is crazy. xD I love insane people. rofl

L, like pretty much everyone. But my favorite minor characters are Halle for being the one thing getting Near and Mello to agree on anything and also being one of two legitimately kickass female characters; Aizawa for not letting his non-super-genius status keep him from coming up with incriminating evidence (Matsuda had some pretty serious backup, if you're wondering why I'm not choosing him based on those criteria); and Namikawa for being a guileful, self-interested yet slightly conscience-afflicted can of awesome who really should have had more than eight episodes of being in the show.
