I haven't cosplayed as anyone from FMA, but I usually cosplay Sakura and one time I crossplayed as Kyo Sohma. Then there was Kuroneko from Trigun, but that was my first cosplay and it sucked eggs. xd

I did a Kagome costume a few years ago...before everyone saw it on Adult Swim and started pronouncing her name all wrong... stare I also have an Ukyo costume from... Oh, I forget what con I was Ukyo for. ^_^ I might cosplay as Sheska or something this year, that way I won't have to color my hair or get a wig! xd

if you count going to school on "dress up day" ((day when people have to look 'pretty' )) then yes, I've crossplayed.
Its sad, because if a girl walks in in a suit and tie and jacket... it's fine..
if a guy walks in in a dress he gets in trouble scream

Tru-chan if you count going to school on "dress up day" ((day when people have to look 'pretty' )) then yes, I've crossplayed. Its sad, because if a girl walks in in a suit and tie and jacket... it's fine.. if a guy walks in in a dress he gets in trouble scream * coughs* So... what exactly are you saying? Regardless, I dress however I feel like, granted that seems to be in neutral or masculine looking attire. I know a few exceptions, though, especially in cosplay. I am not talking about just the total freaks out there, but of people who actually pull it off well. One of the people handing out papers at the Gaia Online panel last year at AX was a guy in a great looking Chinese dress. He looked really good in it; a real credit to crosspayers everywhere. Also, a person I knew for a while on Gaia in another RP did a fabulous cosplay of Kiryuu Touga from Revolutionary Girl Utena. She could even have the jacket of the school uniform open and there was little notice she was not a guy. ( Special taping of chest was applied for that one... sweatdrop )

Sadly, I haven't cosplayed yet...I haven't even been to a convention yet. But I do have plans in the works for a convention in the next few months. My costume keeps changing. First I was going to go as Tomoka (Prince of Tennis), then I was going as Trisha Elric because my friend was going as Ed and we were going to get this big group together (another friend was going as Winry) but she couldn't get the arm ready in time so that plan fell apart and she decided to go as Ryoma. Then I was going as Shiba (from Prince of Tennis). But now I've got a Sloth costume in the works. I think it will work out. Oh, and it's looking like my friend will be going as Ed. (She somehow managed to get a way home for Spring Break so she can work on it.) But anyway, I'm really excited. I've never been to a convention since I just got hooked on anime this year...so it looks highly interesting....

I've only cosplayed once, and it wasn't as good idea as I thought it would be... I cosplayed as Kakashi from Naruto, but in a Christmas-y version. I couldn't do the hair, so I used my Santa Hat... I used one of my red jackets but BACKWARDS, so that I can use the hood-thing as the mouth mask... thing, a black vest (I had no other ways of doing his traditional green vest), etc. etc. Problem is, when I went to the OtakuCon, there were many who cosplayed as Kakashi PERFECTLY, putting me to shame... sweatdrop
So, I bought a shirt, and replaced my Christma-kashi outfit. My first cosplay experience stunk... crying

son goku, that one time I went to the Con was the only time ANYTHING came to Florida, and I'm lucky for that one... The OtakuCon is going to Michigan, taunting me by going, "Take THAT, ya smug b*stard!" ...MOVING ALONG! Bwaha! Fear, for I have found an pretty good cosplay picture of FMA... from JAPAN!! Honestly, though, Al looks like he's melting...
