Kasi had gotten to the rock well before the time that she had been expected to meet Azar for training. She had been so eager, she had been unable to sit still at her den and had left hours early, and ended up perched on her rock, wishing that someone was dueling that morning so that she could watch them and be distracted by them, instead of anxiously awaiting her first lesson.
She was so happy to have found a teacher who was willing and ready to make her better than she already was. She would become better, impress her parents and take a high rank in the pride, she decided, drifting off into a daydream of her own. Her parents would be so happy about their daughter, and she would stand out amongst her twelve other siblings, and be unique.
She began to wiggle a little on the rock, glancing at the dueling area with an anxious look. She was still a little early, but she was excited! She wished her lesson had started an hour earlier, so she could be doing something right now instead of sitting around waiting. She huffed, and stared at the empty lands, wondering why no one was dueling yet.

[[Doing one of those combined things for the three of them and not doing separate paragraphs, let me know if it's confusing. Also because it helps when imagining her Raza talks like a very old African woman with the strong accent.]] "Hurry, hurry." The large black lioness's voice was commanding she was ready to go, ready to run and start these lessons she was in serious lion mode and that wasn't what her son was ready for. He was okay with joining her on wandering around and learning from his mother. Al thought he didn't want to be a solider in the pride he wanted to learn everything that he could so he was going to join his mother for today.
Azar stood at the edge of the den, even though he was going to be joining her she wasn't about to let him slack off because if it she was serious teaching from now until the end of the lessons for the two juveniles. She would make sure that the young lioness knew that it was only for a moment her son was going to be joining them and that the other lessons were going to be just the two of them occasionally but she also knew she could get an idea of how her student dueled by putting him up against the female. She knew her son was good at dueling. Azar encouraged it under her den roof. She smiled as her snake slithered over to her and curled around her leg and up to and around her body.
"You son, he moves slow." Raza hissed. Azar looked at her and laughed some she really couldn't help it, it was true she knew her son was stubborn and even though some what excited about it still grumpy. It was earlier then he was used to.
"I am really not that slow." The cub huffed as he wandered up to his mother looking at her. She laughed once again leaning over and nudging the top of his head before nodding again.
"Lets go."
She wandered quickly making the cub try his hardest to keep up, his little legs working much harder then normal but he knew this is what he had to do. His mother was going to move like this even with the young female she was going to teach. but he still knew that today was going to be fun, very fun.
She paused and then looked around, this was the area where she told the cub to meet her. She looked behind her and then forward again before grinning at the female. "Hello Kasi!" She greeted happily, "I brought along some help, this is Raza." She introduced the snake and the snake started to climb her way down the large lioness and looked at the cub there. "Nice to meeet you"
Kakek stared at the female really not sure of what to say about this, Kasi. Oh god it was HER. He was angry but he knew it wasn't a good idea to act like that in front of his mother, he stood by her with his body up right showing that he was perfectly fine and as if nothing was bothering him.
"And This is Kakek. I'm going to have him duel you so I can get an idea of what I'm working with." She nodded before looking back at his son then at her. "Follow me and keep up we're heading down there."

[Mixed posts are fine with me, whatever way you feel most comfortable with writing them C: ]
Kasi perked up when she heard the sound of her new teacher. Yes! She had come slightly early too, so Kasi didn't have to sit around and be bored waiting to be on time for her lesson. Perhaps she was as eager to teach Kasi as Kasi was to be taught? Oooh, she hoped so. She bounced to her feet, spinning to face the female. So focused on Azar, Kasi didn't notice Kakek.
"A pleasure to meet you, Raza," Kasi greeted the snake politely, pleased that she was getting extra help too, from the familiar and not just from her new teacher.
Her eyes widened slightly when she finally notice Kakek, when his mother introduced him. Oh no. He wasn't...? How could Azar have such a jerk son? It wasn't fair! However, she smiled slowly when she realised she'd get to duel him. "Sounds great," she said readily to Azar. She didn't want to get Azar angry with her by yelling or throwing a tantrum just because the jerk was going to be having a lesson with her. She could deal with it. She tilted her jaw up and shot Kakek a haughty look behind his mother's back, before leaping down and moving after Azar, determined not to be seen as lazy or slacking off. She was serious about these lessons, after all.

Azar grinned as she saw the excitement that the lioness had. She knew that she was excited but she was glad to see that the cub was excited herself. She looked down at Raza and watched as the snake nodded and looked over to the cub before slithering over to the lionesses' foot and then settled herself waiting for Azar's word. She watched as everyone introduced themselves before she nodded then let Raza slither herself around Azar's shoulders once again as Azar started to make her way over the dunes and sands of the desert.
She flicked her tail behind her a few times as she looked for a good place to settle the cubs she knew that she normally would let the cubs romp around on the duel rings however on the other hand she didn't want them to end up getting distracted by the rather large adults around them. The more she thought about it the more she knew it would be better to take them somewhere else for the moment and see something new and have a good time while they did it.
Kakek was a little grumpy at the fact that his mother's student was that female but he shrugged it off maybe she wasn't going to be that bad. He thought wrong apparently when he saw her look and he knew that it wasn't going to be the best. He sighed before he started to follow his mother trying to stay closer to her, she didn't want to cause any problems that was for sure. He tired really hard to keep up with them.
Azar grinned as she found a spot that would work perfectly it was hidden by some dunes and big enough for all of them to have some room and not only that but the two to duel. She sat back on her haunches before she smiled at the two cubs and then motioned to the space in front of her "Well then. "Here you are."

Kasi was a little disappointed that they weren't lead to the duel rings but she trusted Azar knew what she was doing. If she didn't, then Kasi would find another master to teach her, but she liked Azar, even if she did have a stupid son. She glanced at Kakek as they walked, keeping a watch on him in case he tried to do something stupid and ruin her chances of getting taught how to duel.
Her eyes lit up at their training space. It was simple, but just fine for learning how to duel, she decided. This way, if she failed, people wouldn't see it either, she thought cheerfully, bouncing into the area and falling into a duelling stance she had seen other's use, and had learnt to mimic from a very young age. She didn't just watch the duels. She grinned.
"Ready, Kakek?" She asked, eager to start to duel, but she didn't want to be seen as rude starting without making sure her duelling partner was prepared. Duels were organised fights, not disorganised brawling, after all.

Kakek looked at the lioness as she bounded into the area, he didn't want to do the same thing. He didn't want to duel with her! If he knew this was going to happen he would stayed home and shoved one of his siblings in the direction with his mom instead of himself. He didn't know what to say to her. He sat next to his mother and stared at the lioness not really moving forward pretending he didn't know what his mother was talking about, he wasn't really that sure of what his mother had in mind. Why did it have to be her?
Azar looked out at the 'dueling ring' that she picked for them proudly she had a feeling this would be good, she sat up waiting to see the duel happen that was until she realized that her son wasn't in front of the other lioness starting to duel. She looked down by her side and huffed nudging the cub and sliding him forward to the duel, then grunted as he looked at him.
Kakek huffed and stood up trotting over to the female and preparing himself for a duel. He wasn't that exciting for it going against her but at the same time in his mind he was like. 'I'm gonna kick her butt!' which at least made it a little more worth it to him. He looked at her and then laughed. "Yeah." Not wanting to put himself in a silly stance like she was, he didn't like that idea he thought she just looked seriously silly.

Kasi frowned as she realised Kakek had not followed her into their makeshift duel ring. What? Was he afraid? She relaxed her stance slightly, watching as his mother had to actually nudge him so to get him into the duel ring. He was being so silly! Didn't he realise what an opportunity it was? She scowled at him, but tried to angle her face away so Azar didn't notice. She didn't want to insult her new teacher just because her son was silly.
When he finally approached and entered the ring, she dropped back into her dueling stance, insulted that he didn't take one in response. Didn't he know anything about dueling? She huffed, and decided that since he was so obviously not into this, that she'd make the first move.
She bowed to him respectfully, because launching at him in a pounce - something she had practised over and over again as a cub.

Kakek huffed as he took his place preparing for what was going to come next. He was still annoyed that he had to duel her, she was silly he didn't like her, he huffed some more then shifted himself as he saw her coming her way he braced himself for the pounce before growling and then reached his paw out and swiped it at the lioness, aiming for her flank. He then moved to the side, he wasn't really putting himself into it because he didn't want to do this she was silly.
Azar stared at the two thinking about what she was going to do with this young cub, she really reminded Azar of herself when she was younger and she found that very interesting. She settled back on her haunches before she heard and felt her snake move up to her neck and start to talk. "Interestin' pair aren't they?" She asked with a laugh and looked at her and then looked at the two and chuckled some.

Kasi had planned to hit him, but the swipe at her flank startled her and sent her off-course, sending her thudding to the ground - still on her feet, because she wouldn't dare be stupid enough to get knocked over by this jerk - next to him, instead of hitting him. She bounced away instantly, before he could launch another attack.
She scowled. Ugh! He wasn't even trying. He was just defending. How was she supposed to show off her duelling skills to Azar if this jerk wasn't even going to be serious about any of it? Fine. She'd make him serious! She launched at him again, aiming to tackle him. She wasn't huge, but she wasn't tiny either, she might have had a chance to barrel him over if she was lucky or if he was caught off guard. If not, she'd likely just slam into him - embarrassingly.

Kakek smirked as he saw her bound away. He normally was a defensive male. He wanted to be a guard and a good part of being a guard is defending. Sure attacking was good to do at times however he wanted to be just that. He really wanted that. "What are you doing?" He scoffed shaking his head with a laugh shaking his head as he moved to the side and got ready for the next coming his way. He felt her barrel into him however him bracing himself made him able to even though feeling the blunt of the attack only stumble along with her force. He growled as he looked down at her and leaned his head down and opened his jar heading out to clamp down on the side of her face.
Azar watched carefully, she remembered being like that she remembered being young and attacking the same way, it was something interesting to watch. She was impressed though she had a feeling she could do something with this young one."

She ignored his question and barrelled into him anyway - however his stance was strong and he barely stumbled, causing her to hit the ground after hitting him. She huffed and went to move away when he reached down his jaw to go towards the side of her face. Ha! Like she was going to let him do that. She reached up a paw, aiming to him in the face, or at least push his jaw away from her face.
She frowned, realising how close he was. "Ew, boy cooties," she muttered, and tried to put all her strength into pushing him away. She kicked out her back legs too, but she was unsure as to whether they would hit him or not.

He was annoyed at her comment that was for sure. He grunted and leaned into her paws not wanting to have to move she didn't like the idea of her winning this but yet he was starting to get angry and he just wanted to finish this and wander away that was for sure. He looked at her and then grunted and shook his head. "You're the gross one." He growled before moving toward the side shaking his head at her. He back up and away from him and made a face at her.
He wiggled his toes in the sand before looking at his mother. "Are we done? He asked curiously. He didn't want to see annoyed and he really just wanted to get out of there he wanted to go and do something else but he didn't want his mom to know that. He mostly didn't want to deal with HER anymore.
Azar chuckled some and then moved toward them. "You both fight well." She said simply at first.

She pulled a face at him, trying to hide it from Azar. "Boys are gross, girls are perfect," she muttered to him sharply, pitching her voice low so Azar wouldn't hear. As he backed away, she jumped up and fell into a defensive position, in case he attacked, but he simply asked if they were done, and Azar agreed. Aweh, Kasi thought, saddened. She hadn't really duelled in ages, it was getting fun, even if Kakek was still a jerk and only defending.
She perked up at Azar's compliment. "Really?" She asked, grinning. She knew she was pretty good at fighting, but she'd never actually gotten told by anyone that she was any good, she could only compare herself to others to see how she was doing. She stared at Azar with eager eyes, excited for the lesson she was sure would follow - after all, Azar had gotten them to fight to judge their skill level, right? Kasi knew she'd be at a higher level than Kakek. Obviously.

Kakek looked at her and growled at then shook his head before then grumbling at the girl. "No your gross." He growled back at him, it was how he felt, he was pretty sure that she was jsut being stupid, it annoyed him. He rolled his eyes again before he was glad that they weren't going to duel anymore. He looked over at his mother before snorking and moving by his mother's side and flopping down on his haunches and looked up at Raza and sighing he wanteed to go home.
Azar smiled at the lioness and nodded before sitting up some. "Tomorrow we'll start your training, how does that sound?" she asked curiously with a smile on her face.

Kasi decided to just ignore Kakek. He was stupid and didn't know what he was talking about anyway. Girls were obviously perfect and she was certainly not gross. She tilted her jaw up, keeping proud. She was not self-conscious, and he couldn't make her feel gross!
She was rather curious when he went and flopped by his mother's side but was soon distracted by Azar's words. "That sounds fantastic!" she said eagerly, before trying to compose herself. "I mean. That'd be great." She was trying hard not to beam like an idiot, but she didn't think she was suceeding too well. She was too excited! She was actually going to start training, like really training, not just jumping on shrubs or harassing her siblings, but actually training.
