To set the plot, one could say it was a gorgeous late morning. The sun was shinning, there were few clouds in the sky - you know, the fluffy kind that people often compare to bunnies. However, one particular bunny did not look like a cloud. As he hopped out of the "front door" of his home, his stomach started to growl. He supposed it was time for lunch, nearly, so he began his sprint to one of the surrounding fields. No, he wasn't looking for lunch.
Looking around the field, "Where is she?", he thought. Of course, Diesel could have been talking (or rather, thinking) about any of his sisters, or maybe one of his daughters. However, he was looking for his mate, Iodine.
He wanted to see if she wanted to go eat some lunch with him in the meadow. Hopeless romantic.

At the same time Diesel came out into the late morning, Iodine had locked herself away in her burrow. It's... so... MESSY! An exasperated sigh came from her fuzzy lips and she thumped her foot against the ground impatiently. Those kids! She bellowed to herself, no longer stationary but bounding around the burrow like some sort of mad-rabbit as she collected all the grass pieces and dirt from the ground. I let them in here for five minutes, only five, seemingly harmless minutes and they train-wreck my house!
She was outraged--on the verge of hysterics--when she saw them toss around her precious sand dollar as if it were a Frisbee--a Frisbee! Seconds after that, Iodine was shooing them all of the house. But the damage was done. Oh dear, oh dear... Iodine scanned her burrow again, trying to salvage the situation. In desperation, she trotted to the "window" and pushed the dirt away to see the clear skies. However, it wasn't the beauty of the morning that she wanted to see, it was a potential garbage pathway. And within a moment of opening the window, excess dirt, dried grass, and all the other things her kids had tracked in, were being tossed nonchalantly out of the window. Out, out, out...
Just as she released a piece of stone from her paws, Iodine glanced out the window. There, hopping in the grass, was her Diesel. After a ba-thump of her heart, Iodine came to realize something. Oh no, oh no! Within seconds, she was at the window calling out, "Diesel! Diesel! Duck!" The stone she had tossed out so nonchalantly was heading right towards his puffy little face.

Iodi--? THUMP!
Well, at least he knew what she was calling his name about now. He was only laying on the grass for a mere second, but it was long enough to notice that the clouds did look like bunnies! And they were starting to spin. Groaning, he sat up and shook his head, "You throw like a girl!" He called back with a smirk.
Giving another second to stable himself, Diesel began to hop over to the burrow, in a not-so-very straight line, mind you. By the way, she was cleaning and the force of the stone, he assumed the kids had made a mess again. As he got closer, he noticed the grass trails they had left behind them. "Kids." Shaking his head, he entered the den to see his lovely, Iodine.
In the frazzled state she was in, he felt a compliment would be very necessary at this point. Yes, women loved compliments - and she sure as hell deserved one, as well, "Have I ever told you that you're the most beautiful bunny I have ever laid eyes on?"
Before she could reply, he began to help pick up the mess.
