It was a simple enough idea...Rent space, bring drinks, food, and as many bad movies as could be ignored or laughed at in the space of an evening. Get everyone 'comfortable' with each other to build moral and hopefully...hopefully improve how they worked together long term.
Pretty thought if it worked.
Prettier if they had the time to come, after all Suri had 'adult' things like jobs and the like, everyone else had school, well except Ever...but he had access to alcohol, which hadn't exactly been on the banned list this time, so that might be more than a little interesting given they had doors away from the public eye.
He sent out the text a day ahead...having warned them that this was coming he hoped ti was enough time, god knew he felt pressed for time just to schedule it...
The day off he waited, patient, early... various chip dips and sodas gathered from various 'sources' and carefully inspected to be sure no one had tampered with the contents.
He was ready... he was way too ready, and no one was here yet. He tried repeatedly to resist the urge to check his watch, he knew it was early, he checked anyhow.

She was early, hating being late... she would never accept being late. Being as this was some...'team' get together?
All the more reason to be early.
She made a pit stop to the store on her way over, figuring it would be best to contribute...something to this. So she had a bag filled with cookies and a bag of chips. Not much, but with so many people coming into one room...she could imagine it was going to get eaten, and fast.
Knocking on the door Toki waited for it to be opened, before slipping inside. "Hi boss." She moved towards the table and set the bag down with the rest of the stuff. "...Got the kitchen sink here too?"

"...Welcome first comer!" He said and offered her a 2 litter of soda. "If no one else comes I'm going to feel rather foolish, It's not as though I could say this was a mandatory participation activity."
He offered a grin when he said it but it was a little edgy and uncomfortable. Come to think of it he'd been a little 'odd' since he went general but that was probably not something he was going to talk about easily.

While not directly part of Queen's Gambit he still reported to Zinkenite as his general, he had offered himself and his team as a sort of extension to Zink's team if needed...and well he just enjoyed tormenting being with Zac any chance he got.
Honestly he might as well be a part of the team anyway, as much as he hung around.
He was also in full on party planning mode, finding his niche in the Negaverse so to speak as resident party boy and someone who just -loved- to mingle and build morale. No way in hell was he going to miss this meeting, and no way was he going to show up without bringing some delicious food to add to the mix. That was why he wasn't bugging Zac hours before the meeting itself, too busy at home cooking.
Cooking.
....Sort of.
The blonde had picked up a frozen pizza at the store, then gone home to doctor it up. Hey, it required cooking the ingredients to fix it up! Just not the pizza itself, or Heather might not have had a kitchen. The other pizzas he picked up from a little pizza place on the way over, and when he arrived it was with a pile of five pizza boxes in his hands, a case of Rockstar piled on top.
Still, he found a way to BURST into the room in typical Demy fashion, flashing the others a grin from behind his pile of food.
"Hey guys! I'm not late am I? Please tell me I'm not late I HURRIED UP I promise!" Without waiting further instruction he strolled in, setting the boxes down. For the most part the pizzas were normal pizza. Cept that one he doctored up.
That one was a taco pizza.

"You're not late... but... what the hell is that..." He said staring at the 'creation' Dem had made. "You...you didn't... I mean you DID but, have you -tried- this or....no... no forget I asked you'd just say it was good either way."
He blinked at the rather abnormal pizza. "Well... at... least It's vegetables...that's... healthy."
The sight of lettuce on the pizza however was kinda 'creeping him out' as it were.
"Thank's dem, I very much appreciate the thought, and no, your not late...you did well." He nodded.

"I wouldn't feed you something that was -not- good...but I picked up cheese and pepperoni for anyone who isn't feeling adventurous. Though I swear man, the taco pizza is the s**t and I will pout if you guys don't try it. Just a bit! It's really good I swear."
Scary enough, despite the fact Demy made it....it actually looked pretty good.
"HORRAY! Not the last one here!" This called for a victory dance! Cue one dancing captain.
Who was immediately into the Rockstar.

No, definitely not the last one there -- and, miraculously, neither was Ever. This time, though, Zac hadn't been there to dissuade him, and when he came through the door [hesitating just a moment to make sure he was in the right place] it was with a huge bottle of the cheapest vodka imaginable under one arm and two quart bottles of the cheapest cranberry under the other.
The second he was in, his eyes lit on Zac and...and the expression on his face was too-bright, too amused. The general'd known him long enough to recognize that something was off. There was something wicked behind it. "...expected more people. Well. We can manage, I think."

A suspicious -stare- met Ever's all too bright gaze. "You look entirely too happy." He said bluntly. "FAR too happy... what are you up to." He was nothing if not blunt at times, though he could be as slippery as an eel.
He cast a scowl at the booze, cheep or not just...good lord really? "Promoting under age drinking -can't- be the only thing you're smirking about." He added decisively.
"At least you've already met everyone...Fayalite aka Toki, Scheelite aka Demy... Ever aka Ilmenite aka TROUBLE." He waved hands around in introduction.
At least some of them had come, and it was still early, you never knew what life was doing to people...

Ever grinned right back at Zac, still too sharp, his eyes flitting to the rest of them; lingering first on Demy and then on Toki. All at once the source of his too-bright-expression would probably hit Zac: Ever'd brought booze, but he'd probably already had a couple.
"Nice to see you again, hi, is that pizza?" Roughly, he settled his bottles on the table, quickly cracked the the lids, and reached out for a slice -- of the taco. He'd try it, at least. "Um. Having fun?"

..."Demy im not eating that." She said eying the creation with wide eyes, picturing something toxic waste worthy. She didnt know about everyone else, but she didnt feel like ingesting foreign material that she had NO idea where it had been. Pizza or not, she did not trust this doctoring up. She had a feeling there were skittles...or M&Ms.. in there somewhere.
Maybe.
"Thanks boss." She took the soda a little late, not opening it yet but keeping it in her hands.
"...Is that alcohol?" She said, instantly curious as she walked over, trying to get a look at what he brought with him.

"Uh huh." Ever spoke around a big bite of pizza, flicking a look up toward Toki and raising both his eyebrows. With his free hand, he waved vaguely toward the bottles, eyes darting around the place in search of cups. He had to chew, swallow, before he flashed her a smile.
"Have at it. Is this everyone, Zac?" He blinked, offered Demy another flash of a smile to take some of the edge off of that, and went for another giant bite of pizza.

"No... it's not everyone, We're waiting on Selenite if she can make it, Zirkon too... after that it's a question of if Scheelite's team member can make it, but it's many of us." He waved a hand casually but -scowled- at the alcohol.
"Oh by all means, anyone who wants to deprive Ever from getting more drunk than he currently -IS-... feel -free- to experiment with the wonderful world of hangovers." He said with what may or may not have been sarcasm, he'd cut it too fine to tell.

"Para's got school and practice and stuff...I don't think she's coming. And Hel does her own thing..sorry Zee, my team is probably gonna be absent."
He pouted once more at the lack of anyone bothering to try his -awesome- taco pizza. But whatever, more for him! He grabbed himself a slice, and failed to see the sarcasm in Zac's own words.
Take the alcohol? Sure!
"Thanks Ever dude, you are -awesome-." Why yes, he'd be helping himself to some booze now! This...wasn't going to end well.

Ever made a noise, a briefly teasing salute at Demy and a bright grin as he swallowed his bite of pizza. Almost all the way through the slice, it was possible he hadn't really had anything to drink yet tonight. "...you should pour one for Zac while you're at it."
He raised an eyebrow at the general in a definitely-teasing sort of way, crammed the last bite of crust into his mouth, and stepped away to the sodas in search of proper cups. Hadn't thought to bring those. At least he was stable on his feet...

"Well boss people tend to losen up when they drink, so!" She too also grabbed one of the bottles that Ever had brought. "Pizza and Water are good cures for stopping hangovers, too." Like Faya would know... she did drink a little, socially. She had a fake ID. When you dont really have parental supervision around, you tend to get a bit wild!
Walking over she also grabbed a slice of pizza, a normal one.
".....besides, maybe then someone would eat Schee's pizza after a few drinks in them." She shrugged, was she kidding or..?
She just did not trust the lettuce pizza.
"You should at least have something to drink, Zac." She quirked an eyebrow, eying Zac and then the stack of booze. Oh peer pressure was an amazing thing...
