I'm Lyx, your guild captain. I'm glad you have decided to join us.
If you're new to Gaia, welcome to the site, and let me know if there's any way I can help you find your way around.
If you're old to Gaia (hehe), maybe you could help me (or any other members). I often don't know where to find things: Gaia has become so big!
I have been on Gaia for 7 years! I joined in February, 2004. I have had a long break from the site, but have been brought back by Magician's Trick (one of your Vice-Captains), ready to begin anew, and get re-addicted.

Hello everyone and of course Lyx! heart
I go by many nicknames, so whether you feel comfortable with Magic, Magician`s, Trick, Trickstar I am pleased to meet all of you either way.
I`ve been on Gaia for 6 years this March 15th 2O11 and have been a guild member here for that long too.
I am a graphics shop owner, vice-captain and of course - quester!
I`ve dabbled in everything with Gaia (almost anyways) so please don`t hesitate to ask questions if you are new or just curious.
I`m 22 years old, live in the U.S, in a long-term relationship with my boyfriend of 4 years this March 15th 2O11 (That IS the same day as my Gaiaversary)
I love tea, animals, my Christian religion, my freelance position as a graphic design artist and my life!

Hello. I'm pretty hate machine. I'm also an oldie to Gaia (I joined in '03) and I've just recently come back after a rather long hiatus. I'm 26 years old and I have a beautiful baby girl who will be turning 2 this weekend. Since I've come back to Gaia, I've found it difficult to integrate into the forums again, so I thought I'd give this guild a go. It sounds like a great place.

Wow, happy birthday, to your little girl! I was away a long time, too. I think I joined in early 04. It sure has changed, hasn't it? I couldn't believe how easy it's become to make gold, for sure.

I've been coming and going since then, but I remember back in '04 when I quested for the Nitemare Headband which was 100k gold back then. I quested for a whole year to get that and the Nitemare Bustier. That was back when the only way you could earn gold was by polls and posting and maybe by fishing and selling what you caught. In some ways I miss the old days. Everyone was much nicer back then and more close knit, but I like that it's easier to earn gold now, but I don't particularly enjoy the whole having to invest real money into the site in order to get anywhere. It's really messed with the economy of Gaia, but meh. Gotta roll with the changes.

And I agree with how Gaia has changed. Though I appreciate how easy it is to get gold and to start off on this website I really do miss how nice everyone used to be.
Still, I`ve been able to start to make a family on here and make a nitch in Gaia so it`s not all bad - I`m still logging on aren`t I? LOL.

I used to be a frequenter of the Word Games forum and had a nice little collection of friends, then they all left one by one and I just didn't really have a reason to stick around. All the guilds I belong to all died and I was working a lot...
