My world history teacher found a link of DoSomething.org that is for Japan Relief; we're getting the whole school to do it, why don't you?
It's a project called Make Paper Cranes. It's where you just do an oragami of a crane, take a picture of it, and upload it to their Facebook page (or if you don't have one, just give it to your friend, a teacher, family, etc.) It's about the myth where if you make 1,000 paper cranes, you'll get a wish. If together they get 100,000 cranes, it'll represent 100 wishes to those in Japan that have been hit with the earthquake or tsunami.

I understand some people say that just making a crane and taking a pic of it is not going to make a difference to those dying, so here's some tips to make it work:
-Try adding your individuality on your crane. Decorate it as much as you want!
-Maybe write a prayer on the side or in it for someone in Japan
-If you know someone in Japan, send it to them! Even if you don't know someone, give to the post office and I'm sure they'll accept it. It'll warm someone's heart there to know they're not alone.
-Maybe slip some money in there! Put some funds in it (you might want to tape it or some adhesive so it doesn't slip out) and hand it to your local city hall, Church (or Synagogue, Mosque, etc...) school, or some place that's collecting funds.
I hope it gets to 100,000! It's easy to do and great for the heart
