Atlas Chapter 003: Lunis and Solis
Lunis and Solis is a continent representing the second generation of landmasses in Eternum. They are fairly young, and due to that, they are rich in metals, making the northern region of Lunis a prime area for manufacturing—it’s flat marshands and grassy mountain terraces perfect for wide range factories. Population in Lunis is widely scattered—with only a few well known hubs of people—those who live in the lush sea cities of the Lunis gulf. These three cities are home to many scholars who fix to leave their relatively small continent to visit the rest of the world.
As for Solis, this area is much warmer—as the center of its landmass breaches the equator, many exotic plants grow in a combination of soft savannah and colossal forests as botanics meet the edges of ocean and stream. The most outstand feature of Solis is its crystal gardens that can be found in the drier, more desert regions of the continent. Population in Solis is well collected in areas of forest, their wealth coming from the prolific fishing industry south of the desert. The Capitol of Solis; Encendien, is located on the keys dotting the southern shore—the main part of the continent which makes it appear sun-shaped.
What divides the politics in Lunis and Solis is simply a financial system—as in Lunis taxes are high and things are provided to the general public, Solis holds a more conservative system—money for those who earn it specifically. However, in order to keep balance between the two nations, they hold a Grande election to give power to a council of Nine who make major decisions on either nation, depending on the representatives of Solis or Lunis.
