Nao gasped as the low droning of engines could be heard in the distance. "Oh no..." She gasped. She had only heard this sound once before...when her parents were killed."The reds!!" She shrieked. Everyone in the town could have heard her. Nao took a step backwards and stumbled as she saw the giant airship come into view. Tears clouded her eyes as she saw a glimpse of a bomb hanging from the craft. I'm going to die! She closed her eyes, excepting her fate until a loud roar made her turn around. A pure black dragon erupted from the mountains. She gasped silently. Is someone riding that beast?! This made her jolt into action. Nao jumped to her feet, the cold snow stinging her legs.

Yuki ran out onto the battlefield which was filled with the droning of planes over head. "Nao!" she called, looking around for the girl. "Nao, where are you?!"

*Itaku and Kagekami burst into the center of Snowtown. This seemed to be an aerial battle....but would they attack the town?? Should I evacuate the denizens of this town????*
" Why would they attack Snowtown....should I save the townspeople or will I be called to the front lines...."

Greg casually walked out of a ball of light as he spell wore off. The first thing he noticed was the sounds of engines in the distance...an arial battle? This is not good....he scanned the area for anything that could be used to limit the damage of the city. The first thing that caught his eye, though, was a girl running across the snow. The second was another girl, calling for somebody. "Miss, i ask you find shelter." he said to one of the citizens who was calling for another.

Yuki spun around at the sound of a voice. Just a few feet away was a Bluecoat stood, glaring at her. "I have to find my friend first." she replied, mentally preparing herself to fight. She wouldn't fight the Bluecoat unless it was in self-defense, but she didn't want to be caught unawares either.

Yume trotted out on to the battlefield. Now many people where here yet, but she knew they were coming. Steadily increasing droning filled the air, signaling the approach of the Redcoats. Yume drew her sword from its sheath, readying herself to fight.

Celeste strode onto the battlefield. She had changed into her normal fighting outfit, consisting of black cut-offs, a black tank-top, and black combat boots. Her hair was pulled into a high ponytail. She also wore silver armbands to complete the assemble, and a scarlet cloak had been slung over her shoulders to keep her warm. She drew her twin blades, ready for battle.

Itaku hadn't looked at his current ensemble before he ran out into the streets of Snowtown. He was still dressed in his casual winter clothes , he rushed into the nearest bathroom ahd changed. He emerged wearing his trademark black and red hoodie, a pair of black jeans, and black combat boots. Around his neck he wore his amulet which always gave him hope. Attached to his side he had his wand and twin blades he was hoping there wouldn't be a need for them, however this is war......
" Kagekami I may be forced to fight in the air....please send for ShadowSpirit..."
The black wolf ran off into the distance aware of what it's goal was. Itaku scanned the area unsure who to help.

Yuki wondered for a moment if it was okay to trust him, but dismissed the thought. She didn't have time to wonder if he was a trustworthy person. She didn't have that time to waste. She had to act now. "Her name Nao. She's around my age, with blond hair and violet eyes." Yuki said. "I know she's somewhere on this field, but I'm not sure where."

Vortex let out a signal roar to announce aerial reinforcements had arrived while Phoenix surveyed the area for her comrades. She saw Greg and told her dragon to land next to him.
Vortex banked low and using her legs to absorb the impact, landed. She quickly furled her wings to make more room and Phoenix jumped down.
"What's the current status?" She asked Greg, casting a sideways glance at the girl, "and why hasn't she been evacuated?"

Without warning, several air-to-surface missiles dropped out of the sky about a mile away and headed towards Snowtown. It descended as it flew, attacking from different directions, but all had the same target-- Snowtown. It was definitely overkill for the tiny, unimportant town in the north, but the Redcoats had a point to make-- that the Bluecoats couldn't protect Snowtown.
One great weakness of the Bluecoats was that they lacked radar. Stealth bombers were hard to detect on radar, but even harder to detect with the visible eye. Stealth bombers emerged out of the clouds, descending to an altitude enough for them to drop their load efficiently. A few buildings in Snowtown erupted into flames as the first round of bombs rained on the city quicker than they could scream "THEY'RE COMING!"
The bombers-- escorted by fighters-- acted as if they were flying away, but then turned around the began dropping the second round of bombs on Snowtown. The Redcoat High Command knew Snowtown didn't have the sufficient air defense to repel a Redcoat aerial assault, but Bluecoat aid was something else...
((Perhaps if the Bluecoats ever bothered to get some radar, interceptor missiles, and anti-air gunners... I'd like to see how a dragon fares when a ballistic missile crashes into his reptilian skin.))
