Sitting at a lab desk in the classroom, Angela prepped her materials. The blinds were open today, as the sun was actually out for once. She had her laptop open and had a few sheets of notes.
Her student for today was Lucia, a girl with Spanish Lynx genes, she recalled. She'd had her in a few classes before this, and remembered her having good questions but a short attention span.
Well, if I can keep her attention, this should be a pleasant class. Maybe I'll try switching things up a little, to keep it from getting dull, she thought. Generally the class would cover information about Lucia's animal genes, and how that related to Lucia herself.

Lu look at her papper with the number of her class for this new biology subject, she is very intersted in know, what her animal dna had change her in comparation of her mother or normal humans, she know the basic as nocturnal vision and agility but she want to know more.
She enter in the class and renognice the teacher ,she is the same that give her the sex one, cool at last she know her.
"hello, I'm here for a new class about my DNA"

Angela looked up as someone entered, and nodded when she saw it was Lucia.
"Hello, Lucia. It's good to see you today. Are you ready for class?" she asked, with a smile.
"We're going to be discussing your animal genes and how they might affect you today."
She waited for Lucia to settle in before she got started.
"For starters, why don't you tell me what you know, so I can get an idea of where to start," Angela asked. No need to cover something that was already known.

Lucia slowly come close to a desk and sit down and put her booknote and pencils around to start the class, when she hear the question of the teacher about that she know about her animal dna.
"Well, I know that it made me more balanced and agility is better that normal. I can see in the dark very very well, I did a class about it!" she said very confortable with the theme of the class for now.
"but I'm intersted to know about the things it done in my inside" she said to the teacher to give a idea that she is more interested in learn, of course if the teacher had other thing planed is ok too.

Angela nodded, and mentally checked off a couple things in her list. Lucia was off to a good start, and the teacher smiled.
"Well, for starters, you mentioned that you can see very well. Did you know this is because your Lynx counterpart hunts mainly at twilight? So while most cats have great eyesight, even in the dark, you and the Lynxes may have better sight," she said. It was more trivia than actual genetic information, but since she was talking about the animal half and how it would affect Lucia, it related.
"In addition, the Spanish Lynx has a shorter coat than other lynxes, because it is adapted to a warmer environment. So don't go thinking you can go on a winter trek without proper gear," Angela said with a gentle teasing tone, and a wink.
She shuffled the papers about a bit, and gave Lucia a bit of a chance to respond to these statements before getting into things like reproduction and such.

Lucia listenen to her teacher and giggle to some of the things she said as about the winter gear, She already know the eyesight, but she is glad that the teacher said it was true too.
"Well at last I can had betters summers that the other Lynx" She giggle " oh and I can swing as the Spanish lynx but I no sure if it is only for this class or all the lynxs can do it " she said thounghtful.
Lucia wrote some in her notebook about eyesight and winter/summer coat and wait for the answer about the swinming she did to the teacher to wrote about it too.

"Well, some lynxes swim more than others, like the Spanish Lynx, and also the Canadian Lynx. Others, like the Bobcat or Eurasian Lynx would rather not, but can if they need to. That's actually the way some Lynx hunt; the lynx will chase the prey into a lake or other water, and since many of the prey animals are not good at swimming, they are easier to catch," Angela explained. This could be something that Lucia could use to her advantage, if she had not already started doing so.
"The main prey of Spanish lynxes is rabbit, and they must catch a rabbit a day in order to be healthy enough to reproduce. In fact, Lynx populations are directly linked to rabbit populations," the teacher said, making a segue into that topic, but stopping to add something first.
"Now, that isn't to say that you should start only eating rabbit," Angela said, smiling. "You are also human, after all, and we need a much more varied diet."
