So 3 days after getting white, I was training to fight the League. I randomly found a shiny Rufflet. I told my brother and he hit me because he was Jealous.

Lucky! I have yet to find a shiny, this time I wont waste my masterball (only pokeball i had) on a Golbat in Mt.Silver! Atleast Braviary looks cool as a shiny, unlike my putrid green Golbat (later into a pink crobat)! lol

Atleast Braviary looks cool as a shiny, unlike my putrid green Golbat (later into a pink crobat)! lol In ruby I had found a green golbat. It was lvl 46. I sent out Groundon because it knew rocksmash. I hit it and it did like 2 damage and lowered the defense. I hit it again and it was a critical hit and killed it. But when I got Fire red I found about shiny 8 Caterpies in a row. Two months before Pearl came out I lost my Fire red. I told my sister if she found it I would trade it for her yellow...well she found it. She didn't give me time to save the Caterpies.

Times that I found shinies were at complete random times. I found a shiny silcoon near the beggining of Platinum (and I was so happy since it was my first shiny) and the other time I found a shiny bellsprout when I was searching for a slakoth in Heartgold... I was happy I found the bellsprout, but I never got to find that slakoth >_>
But yeah, that's why I always make sure that I carry plenty of good pokeballs just in case ^_^

i found a shiney mawhile but could not catch it then i hound a shiney meowth but it was a battle frontier person had it
