I did the SS run with the red team earlier this evening. It . . . did not end well.
Everything was fine up until the robofish cave. That's when things got hairy.
We had some problems in sea lab (loulou got stuck. Twice.) and there were these bad deaths and people got frustrated and someone left out of frustration.
That's not what I wanted. I wanted it to be frustrating, but also fun.
Nespin suggested that the mistake might have been that we did it on hard and I guess I have to agree.
I want to do it on normal, but there are issues.
First off, the red team got to the sea lab on hard with me, which means they now have extra experience that the other teams don't - even if I changed some of the stuff I did, they'd be familiar with my general antics. At the same time, it wouldn't be fair for them to go on hard and everyone else on normal, and I do think the run would probably be easier, and therefore more enjoyable, if it wasn't on hard.
It's just.
Ugh.
I'm sorry. I really wanted to do a test-run with random people early this week, but real life and other stuff happened and it was all just a mess. >.x

What if the Green and Blue teams do it on hard too, and those can be like a practise - then everyone can do it on easy for, like, the 'actual' one? e.e

Oi. You could require that to be part of the requirement (like you did with PS- photo op) and just make it so that the team that gets the farthest gets 5pts or something. Low number of points to not cause that much grief on leaving in frustration-type of deal. But given points of some sort for having to go through the hassle.
Or give the Red team a chosen amount of points for having to go through it? I'm sure neither team would mind too much given the circumstances..? (I don't mind at least).
But if you choose to do it on normal... Find a crew before really assigning it. sweatdrop

The problem is: when will we do it!?!? We had trouble forming a crew once, and some of us can't this weekend. And it's quite short notice for some of us... That's kinda troublesome.
Btw, you forgot that Misa got stuck first; I was stuck after, refreshed and was still stuck elsewhere on the screen xd

Exactly what I think - too short notice to even think to try it tomorrow afternoon since we didn't get any answers yet. sweatdrop
Edit: unless some sort of miracle happen and ppl appears and says they can biggrin
Edit2: Actually, we swapped members when some wanted to leave. After that, I got badly stuck and even Cleo needed a break in the end. So... lowering points for leaving? Not sure how it would work :S

To be honest, I was kinda excited about doing this run, and I find I'd actually be a bit disappointed if the difficulty was lowered. /either overconfident, overexcited, expecting something besides what it actually would be like, or a combination of each
If you do decide to change it, though, I'd pretty much agree with Mickey on this. Especially since it seems Red would have some trouble getting more people on short notice.

Indeed, there's only 16 official people on red team.
They can try emergency drafting in the z!Forum or temporarily opening up sign ups for this particular event?

Blue has 19. Red has 16. At least this is what I'm seeing on the official membership lists in the teams' respective threads. Red isn't terribly short in numbers, but it does have the lowest amount of members.

Those numbers do not reflect how many people are active, though. For instance, Kat has counted only eight Greens who are active, less then half our official number.
